My car was not in bad shape but the dirt roads of Yosemite thrashed my new tires and just putting that much distance overall, my car needed some TLC. He answered my questions about the services he provides & offered what I thought was a great price- seeing as how there is not many places in the area that do hand car washes. He also gave great life advice and made us feel very welcome in Santa Cruz! I looked over his work and saw that he had cleaned up a suburban that hauls a toddler and infant to be spotless. So I contacted JV via text since I got his number off of his van. I ended up texting him on the weekend and he got back to me quickly. I had him fully detail, polish and wax my wife's 9 year old Subaru. The car looked nearly brand new when finished, amazing! I was so impressed I had him come back and do my travel trailer that is fiberglass. Then my buddy saw that and is going to have him do his boat. I have not met JV personally because I wasn't at my house when he did the car then RV and I did not want to interrupt him the first day. JV's work is exceptional, I really appreciated his attention to detail. On top of that he is easy to communicate with and does what he says he is going to do. If you're looking to get a car, boat, motorhome etc. detailed I would definitely give JV a shot. You won't be disappointed in the quality of his work or the level of service he provides. Edit: I see JV has responded and mentioned something about price. I would agree that the service was not cheap or even inexpensive. However, It was a good value to me in the end. I've cleaned and detailed my own cars for many years, the results JV got were better than what I could've done had I worked on it a full day. I am taking this place to court and filing a better business report. Btw, they have a sign inside their office that they are BBB accredited but according to BBB website they are not. I brought the car to get an estimate for the damage. I chose them because they are next to my home. The car had a front bumper damage and a deployed air bag but no leaks, no smogs and I drove it myself to their body shop. I told the guy I will be likely paying out of pocket and I want to fix it the cheapest way possible and asked him to look for used parts. He said it will likely be $3-5k and they will run estimate and possibly they won't be able to put parts together back. I said in such a case, if the cost of repair would be too high, I would tow the car away. Days later they sent me an estimate for $12k. The car value since it's a Honda accord 2015 with 180mikes on it is around $6k. I told them the estimate is above the car value and fixing it at this cost makes no sense. I said I will look for another mechanic and tow the car away next week, likely Friday when I don't work. The guy said: ok, no problem. I found a mechanic who agreed to fix my car for $4k. Three times cheaper! When I wanted to take my car from this body shop they emailed me the bill for $1815! It listed 3 hours of work at $125/hr and a storage fees x 8 days. I was in shock. What storage fees? They never mentioned anything about any storage fees. I don't need to store my car. If I knew they charge storage fees I would have towed my car away next day! But they knew exactly what they are doing since I am not their first victim. When I went to the shop they told me I have to pay for storage. That there is a sign on their wall informing customers about it. I called police. In the meantime, the owner of this place (he refused to give me his name) tried to disconnect parts inside my car (likely a battery). I told him to not do anything more with my car. He said: this is my property I can do whatever I want. I said but this is my car. Next, he took his truck and almost drove over me and my brother to block my Honda. I called police again. Finally they came. They said they can't help me. That I have to pay because the owner claims that there is a sign inside his office about storage fees. If I don't remove the car I would be charged hundreds dollars more for additional storage! Too bad that when I talked to their employee at least 3 times and they emailed me estimate, then never mentioned anything to me about the storage fees! The owner eventually lower the price to $1000 but demanded cash saying people often cancel his credit card payments. I wonder why they cancel! Why, if you are so honest, they call their credit cards to cancel their payments? For fun? I had to pay $1000 to remove my dismantled car that they even called: "worthless". Such a nice service. Take advantage of a woman. People, what business does it to their Neighbour? What business on top of charging $375 for a basic diagnoses wants to get another $1440 for a fake "storage"??? This is so fake, so abusive what they did. I can't imagine anyone trusting them. They are crooks. The owner uses dishonest practices to rip people off their money. He does it to his neighbors. Shameful practices.

Initially, I had a great experience with Nate and his crew when they tinted my Mercedes Sprinter…read moreconversion van. The tint looked excellent, and I thanked Nate personally when I picked it up. Once I got home, I discovered significant damage on the driver and passenger door panels that had been removed for the tinting. The panels were pulling away from the door frames. Four clips on each door were either missing or broken. Three bolt-covering end caps were missing and the rest were installed incorrectly. A bolt was missing from the passenger panel. The plastic was scratched and jagged where it had been pried off, and the black rubber pillar window seals had razor-blade cuts. I even found a razor blade left on my seat. I contacted Nate that same day with photos and videos. He would not take my calls, but he did text to apologize and offered to repair the damage. He explained that his most experienced tech had called out and two younger techs worked on my van. I agreed to give them the opportunity to correct it. Days went by with no follow-up. After multiple messages, Nate said his expert tech had "fallen off the face of the earth" and suggested his "plastic guy" repair the damaged panels. I was skeptical, but he promised to schedule the repair soon. Then more days passed with no communication. At no point would he speak to me on the phone. After eight days, I went to the shop in person. Nate was not there, but his brother inspected the van and agreed the work was unacceptable, especially the cut window seals. He assured me they would make things right and said refunding the tint cost was the least they should do. A week has passed since then with no response. I had to take the van to the Mercedes dealership. They confirmed missing and damaged clips and improper reinstallation. They also said the damaged seals should remain watertight but are visibly compromised. I paid $350 for the tint and $758.13 out-of-pocket to have the panels repaired. The seals remain damaged. I genuinely liked Nate and his brother. Their shop is clean and they seem to care about quality. However, ignoring a customer after damaging their vehicle is unacceptable. There is another review describing a similar situation tied to personal issues Nate was having. That may explain things, but it does not excuse the lack of accountability. The tint quality was great, but if anything goes wrong, do not expect them to stand behind their work.
