My 10-year-old autistic son has had positive interactions with every doctor and dental assistant here in the four years we've been coming, so technically, I can't complain. He just got sealants placed on the back of his teeth and once again he had a GREAT EXPERIENCE with the doctor and their assistant. So obviously I will give them Five stars for their stellar work and customer service! I'll keep coming back, but I'm worried about how much longer this location will last. I'm concerned about the staff turnover, which seems to have happened at this location. Faces I grew accustomed to are gone, and it makes me worry. The cozy office vibe is also gone, replaced by what feels like a corporate takeover with questionable decorating taste. They've installed cheap wooden panels with black lines on the walls of the patient rooms and amateurish paint job in the waiting area ‍. Ugh what is up with that!?! The sitting room's been reduced to two chairs, supposedly to keep wait times down, but it feels impersonal. Dr. Seymour Kurtz was a friendly, knowledgeable and steady in his treatment recommendations and care, and I was his patient until his retirement in 2023. His son, Dr. Andrew Kurtz, came into the practice a few years prior, and I have since transitioned to his care. He has seamlessly taken over the practice and continued the friendly, knowledgeable and steady work his father modeled. I appreciate that both doctors Kurtz err on the conservative side of recommending treatment, unlike my parents' old dentist that would try to upsell everything and drill everywhere. This office takes Delta Dental PPO (thank you!!) and Linda the office manager is so easy to work with and also a lovely person. The staff in this office has been the same for decades now, so Daniel and Rhoda the dental assistants, along with Linda, can vouch for what a great employer Dr. Kurtz is.
