Avoid this place at all costs. The owner harasses customers via DMs for leaving honest reviews -- instead of addressing legitimate complaints, he attacks people personally, insults them, and tries to intimidate anyone who dares to speak the truth about his terrible service. This tells you everything you need to know about the kind of person and "professional" you're dealing with. Not only is he a mediocre barber with subpar skills, he's also an unprofessional, disrespectful human being who clearly can't handle criticism like an adult. Instead of improving his service, he'd rather bully and harass paying customers who share honest feedback. If you value your hair, your time, and -- most importantly -- your dignity, stay far away from this establishment. There are plenty of barbers out there who actually respect their clients and know how to run a business professionally. This is not one of them. Save yourself the trouble. I gave this place a try for the first time since the reviews were good. I got my cut done today by the older gentleman with glasses. I was the last customer that night, so it was quiet as the others were cleaning up. I told him before we started that I wanted him to cut my hair short EXCEPT only cut half an inch in the front, because I want it longer so I can style my bangs. I even visually showed him how I wanted to style my hair before we even started, so there is no excuse. But instead of cutting off half an inch, he cut way too much and left me with "half an inch of hair remaining." I can't style my hair anymore. So now I have to deal with this lame doofy ass haircut for the next 3 to 4 weeks until the front of my hair grows back before I can ever style it again. I could have a haircut anywhere I want to. But, something makes me return and have my haircut regularly done in one shop. Except for its exceptional service, its the barbers of the Ferry Barber Shop that makes my experiences stand out from the rest. They're all friendly, keen to details, experienced, and trustworthy. But their boss is there every time, being the only guy talking loudly, and he is always spouting radical hate speech, covid denial, wishing violence on whoever he considers a "liberal". Im not giving any more money to a shop that spends its time loudly proclaiming death on people he disagrees with. The world needs less people like him shouting hate into the world.
