I had an emergency surgery that came up and she approached it so swiftly, was truly empathetic, and provided the best care possible for me. I cannot say enough great things about her. Next is the support staff. Everyone here is so friendly and communicative. There is nothing more frustrating than going to a fertility clinic and having poor communication. That will not be your experience at Bloom. From Gabby, to Carmen, to Andrea, to even the nice lady at the front desk, you will be taken care of, The clinic is super clean and easy to get appointments with especially when your cycle starts. They are willing to do thorough testing before jumping to IVF and care about your goals. I literally have only good things to say about Bloom and Dr. Gordon. If I had to choose one negative thing it would be that I wish there was a way to send things directly to the doctor rather than having to schedule an appointment every time I need to update her with something, But hey, if that's my biggest concern, then I'm in a good position. Now my account shows a $570 balance, and I have no idea where it's coming from or whether it's even a legitimate charge. So, I reached out to them again on Monday. I would strongly recommend being cautious and not paying anything unless you receive a clear, itemized statement that shows exactly what is being billed and the date of service. Additionally, my cycle failed and reached out through their patient portal on Monday, but I never received a response. At this point, I will likely be looking for a new office.

I scheduled an appointment with the nurse practitioner at North Scottsdale Women's Health specifically because Dr. Simone was not available for several weeks. I was told by the front desk that the nurse practitioner works closely with Dr. Simone and would be able to explain the reasoning behind Dr. Simone's recent recommendations and help me understand the plan. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I paid nearly $200 for the appointment and, rather than receiving clarification about Dr. Simone's recommendations, I was initially given advice that seemed to be the opposite of what Dr. Simone had recommended. When I explained that the purpose of my appointment was to understand Dr. Simone's reasoning, I was then told that they simply have different approaches. I completely understand that two medical professionals may have different clinical opinions. What I don't understand is why I was specifically directed to schedule and pay for an appointment with someone to explain my doctor's treatment recommendation if that provider did not appear to know the reasoning behind it. This has been part of a larger frustration with communication at the practice. The portal system often feels like messages are being filtered through different people rather than allowing for clear communication with the physician managing your care. When treatment recommendations are changing, patients need to understand why. I went into this appointment hoping for clarity and reassurance about my treatment plan. Instead, I walked away more confused than I was before I arrived. If you are someone who values a provider who has the time and availability to thoroughly explain treatment decisions and provide continuity of care, I would take that into consideration when choosing this practice.

Ask a lot of questions and don't accept everything they tell you. Don't let they push you to start ivf quickly. It's all about money, protect your money and time. If you don't get your answers, move on to better clinics. I wish I had done that when I saw the first red flags in the way the doctor and this clinic treated me.

I went to Dr. Koagedal on the referal from a family friend that tried getting pregnant on her own and at 43 years old was unable to. Instead of doing the very expensive IVF she saw Dr. Koagedal and got pregnant with twins. Well I was 40 years old at the time and decided to give him a try and not only did I get pregnant 4 weeks in but I continued to see him throughout my pregnancy. (We had been trying for 3-4 years before we found Dr. Koagedal) My first trimester I was energetic and never felt sluggish thanks to the "cloud effect" where I felt like I had slept 8 restful hours each week! When I threw my back out in my third trimester I went to see him and in minutes I was fixed! I also loved that Dr. Koagedal will only do what is needed and won't over sell you on products and sessions!! He only does what you need! Unlike others that say they need to do acupuncture and teas and god knows what else and then at the end of the day never give you results!!! My husband also went to him for back and sleep problems and we cannot thank Dr. Koagedal enough!! He has the best bedside manner and always makes himself available to answer questions! He was better at responding to emails than I was if that tells you anything!! Also, his wife Mary is the first bright smile you see as you walk in the door.
