What I like most about Meal Maids is they make just about any kind of food you want. And it's always healthy. They are really flexible, too. I have ordered their paleo meals, gluten free meals, lunches, dinners, breakfasts and even desserts (their banana cream pie is the best I've ever had). I wanted to experiment with different kinds of meal plans and no matter how weird, or "out there" the meals I asked for, they would show up on time, to my doorstep, ready to be eaten (or easily warmed up). Everyone I tell about this company who does not live in Roseburg is jealous because they really are unique. They use 100% hormone-free meats and pesticide free produce, as well as BPA free containers -- which I really like (since most plastic containers contain estrogen mimicking chemicals, etc). The food was delivered cold, things like coffee cups and dessert plates were not present, they didn't clear plates when meals were done, and the time from the back of the room to the front of the room being served was a full 35 minutes. Folks gave up and we're leaving, and volunteers from the event stepped in to clear tables and help service tables. This place may have delicious food, but they are NOT equipped to handle a. They were hired to handle…read moresides only for our wedding -- no meat, just the basics -- yet they somehow thought it was acceptable to charge my mom double what was quoted and what they had agreed on in the beginning. Paying full price for half the responsibility is bad enough, but it gets worse. Before the event, it was clear they weren't prepared or organized about what was actually needed for a wedding. That should have been our first warning. On the day itself, the food they did provide was bland at best and certainly not worth the inflated bill. To top it all off, they even brought their grandchildren along to the event -- which felt wildly unprofessional. They had also promised to bag up leftovers for us. Instead, we left with nothing, despite the fact that they catered for 20+ more guests than we even had. Where all that food went is anyone's guess, but it definitely wasn't sent home with the people who paid for it. Weddings are stressful enough without dealing with this level of dishonesty and disorganization. If you value professionalism, good food, and basic respect, do yourself a favor and hire literally anyone else.
