Great service! Everyone spoke and was nice. There were smiles and high energy. I wish I could…read morerecall the guy who seated us's name (starts with a J I think). He had the best vibe and raspy voice. I had chicken pot pie soup. It came with the most delicious and flaky croissant. My co-workers had chicken and waffles and a chicken wrap. We also had the Cajun fries to share. All good. They have cake offerings. I got strawberry crunch. It was okay.

Would've been 4/5 stars if the front-of-house didn't get in its own way. We had a reservation and…read morestill waited 30-40 minutes, and I walked past whole empty sections on my way to the bathroom, so I don't know what the holdup was. The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

I'll write more if the vibe is different on other days/times, as they've got different themes, including a Blues Saturday Brunch. Crowd: 30+ and I do mean Plus. Plenty of 50+ having a great time as well. Love the mature setting. Low-key vibe. Music: R&B/Soul/Hip-Hop. There is a dance floor and a DJ. Neighborhood: Not good. But not to fret, as there is tight security inside and outside, including the adjacent parking lot. There is also a Comerica Park style bag check/pat down for added security, which I appreciated. I hope this area revitalizes. But as for this spot itself, no riff-raff, so if YOU'RE the riff-raff, not going to work. Food: Soul Food/American with all kinds of specials depending on the day. Neighborhood, affordable prices. We had fried catfish and shrimp with fries and slaw. It was all very good. Drinks: Very affordable specials on spirits and friendly, attentive bar staff. There's nothing fancy about Stardust, which is why I do fancy it :) Strong pour, mature crowd, good home style food, reasonable prices...count me in! Try this place alone and the old time regulars will strike up a conversation with you. Try this place with your friends/date and the old time regulars will strike up a conversation with you. So either way you're in good company and they take care of their non-regulars for safety and service. Now go 'head and get in there and be a STAR.

The interior decor is nice, it obviously car themed hence the name. They have 2 bars and plenty of tables to accommodate large parties. I opted for a turkey burger with green beans to keep things healthy. I enjoyed both. The waitress mentioned the green beans are crunchy but that's the way I like them. I suppose if you like yours a bit more cooked, then ask to have them sautéed longer but I liked them how they were. I heard so many good things about this place so I was happy to finally stop by. I can't wait to come back. They also have a location in Utica now.

Today's food is perfect. We had a burger bowl that was - to me - like a deconstructed burger; another person had the fish and chips that were good and served crisp and hot; and another had the meatloaf and it was served with brown gravy and two sides. Two points that knocked down the score bar service was tooooo slow. I was going to have a second beer and by the time waitress came to apologize about long delay and frustration with bar service, I told her to cancel it. Second, the waitress had to be reminded to bring drink refills after we asked for them. She apologized and got them right away. But, it added to our frustration of delays. No matter my two points, I do recommend this restaurant. Usually, service is better and the burgers are GREAT!
