Extremely talented and competent. She was also really strict about COVID precautions, and besides wearing mask, and gloves she sprayed both of our hands several times during our 90 minute (or longer) session. She took her time with me. Lots of education even on the phone prior to the appointment with directions on what to do and to not do prior to the appointment. Apparently some people are allergic to the products used and she gave me a heads up, then, while at her place, I was given the allergy test to make sure. She was meticulous with symmetry and execution. She drew beautiful eye bore lines and did an amazing job. I'm going for my 4+ week touch up and I am really looking forward to seeing her later on. This woman is top notch talented and professional, she is really friendly too. She is a 12 out of 10. I have full trust in her. I have recommended some friends and they are equally impressed. We agreed on the booking, I informed her I had a Groupon, and everything was confirmed. When I arrived and she finished the service, she suddenly told me she was not accepting Groupon because "Groupon wasn't paying her." She then forced me to pay an extra $100, charging me $250 total instead of the $135 Groupon price. She told me to go to Groupon for a refund, but when I contacted Groupon, she refused to approve the refund. I was stuck going back and forth between Groupon and her with no resolution. It was extremely frustrating and unfair. I even tried filing a dispute with my credit card company, but it did not work, and I strongly believe she misrepresented the situation to avoid accountability. To make it worse, I later received a notification from Groupon that the business name had changed from Masha to Gina Cosmo, which made the situation even more suspicious. Even the work it self also turned out really bad. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had through Groupon. Deceptive, manipulative, and dishonest business practices. Avoid this vendor at all costs.

I'm so glad I trusted her that she would be able to work around the unevenness. She's very calm, easygoing and friendly. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. Overall, everyone was kind and detail-oriented, and I really enjoyed the pedicure. I just wish the manicure issue had been fixed before I left.

Needless to say, it always looked crooked and sloppy. I never wanted my eyebrows tattooed because the ones I've seen on people end up looking blue and weird. But I started looking into micro blading after I had my 3rd child and I just felt and looked...bedraggled (see before pic ). I literally researched and obsessed over who to see and if I should even do it. Then along comes my amazing local mom's group who recommend over half a dozen artists in LA for microblading. I tried to do this without considering the cost even though we're on a super tight budget because I wanted to find the best person for the look I was going for and save up. You see, I had my eyeliner done by a makeup artist in Chicago who had "experience" with microblading. Long story short she tattooed below the lash line so the numbing agent didn't take and I felt EVERY STROKE. One side was partially done and the other side barely showed any liner. It took hours and hours and it hurt like crazy. I should mention that I have a dozen regular tattoos and am accustomed to tattoo pain... I finally settled on Christen at Brow Tendre and it was the best thing I ever did. The process was painless and she has the most amazing, gentle touch. I fell asleep twice during the brows and we talked like old friends unless it was time for me to shut my trap and get purdy! She knew my history with skin numbing issues and was patient, gentle and kind throughout the whole thing. I loved my brows so I went back for eyeliner too.
