I never write reviews and I've never been a "nail girlie" until this place. I made a real effort this year to take better care of myself, and finding this nail bar was honestly one of the best decisions I made. I only go to Anashe -- she is an actual angel on this earth. My nails have always been brittle and weak, but she's helped me grow them out and now they're strong, healthy, and look better than they ever have. She always does a fantastic job and somehow puts her own creative spin on any idea I bring in, making it come out 100x better than what I pictured. I'm sure everyone here is great, but I'll never go to anyone else. I'm almost hesitant to recommend her because I don't want her to get so booked that I can't get in. Their manicures last me almost a month too, which has never happened anywhere else. The whole staff is so sweet. Robert, who runs the shop with his wife, always makes you feel welcome. Most of the staff is Armenian and they offer strong, fresh Armenian coffee that I sometimes look forward to even more than my new nails. Only minor downside: appointments can run 15-20 minutes over sometimes. But it's clearly because they're perfectionists and take their time to get everything right. I honestly don't mind it at all -- just plan for a little extra time. Absolutely worth it. Highly recommend (even though I selfishly want to keep Anashe to myself). read more

Every time I go, I've had really good experiences. I had my mani and pedi done today. This was my third time getting a manicure here and my first time getting a pedicure. Both Ani and Anna were very attentive throughout the appointment and kept checking to make sure I liked the shape and cuticle work, which I appreciated. I especially loved my pedicure. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. I needed to get my nails done asap for the holidays and this salon was able to accommodate me for an early weekend appointment. It's located on the busy street of Burbank but you can find parking in the residential streets if you don't find any up front. I was warmly greeted as soon as I entered and offered a beverage. I was promptly seated and my technician, Tamara, was with me immediately. She was very thorough and made sure my service was top notch. I opted for cat eye gel x and I was not disappointed. In total I spent $135. This included: previous gel-x removal, nail and cuticle cleaning, gel x nails, cat eye design (extra), and tip. Although it may seem steep for some, I found it completely reasonable given the quality of the work performed and what the price included. I strongly recommend this salon and Tamara. read more

I have not gotten a manicure or pedicure in over 8 years. I had those services and my eyebrows done on 11/13/2025 due to my son's wedding in Maui Hawaii. Today 11/22/2025 my gel nails still look lovely even after walking on the sand daily and being in the salty water. Other people in my wedding party had to redo their nails before the wedding, but not me. Customer service was exceptional since everyone was super nice. I called and was able to receive and appointment same day. Tamara removed my press on nails. She listened to me and informed me about the product I was using and why it was damaging my nail. As a licensed cosmetologist myself I appreciated her attention to detail. She was kind, calm, thorough and honest!! I again, received a very low quality pedicure and had the owner who's commenting, or someone who looks very similar, try and change my nail color because SHE didn't like the way it looked on ME. Very off putting. I would've given it a second chance if the pedicure was at least good... however, that didn't go well either. I did not get that clean feeling you're suppose to get after a good pedicure. I now go to a nail salon ALL the way in Northridge, just because I know I'll always get that good clean. My nail experience was fine. I was going to tip, However, the employees are rude and will talk about you, in front of you. Definitely prejudice vibe. They made me wait an extra 20 minutes for my appointment. The biggest is that I booked on the website for an eyebrow threading after they did my nails the owner told me the eyebrow lady had a " accident" and was unable to come and that one of the nail techs would be doing my eyebrows. Everyone stared and smiled like as if they knew she didn't have experience, but I did not want to be negative so I tried to trust the process.. this lady proceeded to literally cut off all the tail of my eyebrows. I would love to work here because the atmosphere is just there all the time Pro tip as someone who's come here often, try to make your appointments at least 2-3 weeks in advance cause they can get booked! Plus, you're guaranteed full attention because you're not coming in last minute or booking last minute, don't be that person please. And you can book your appointments once you're done with the first appt. I get gelx cause it works the best with my brittle nails and they last for weeeeeks. I book a fill-in at least for 2 weeks later, it guarantees the nails will stay on longer. I've never had them break. I'm not one to write a review, but this was the worst nail experience I've ever had. This was my first time at this place and I only came for an acrylic removal. Whoever worked on me absolutely destroyed my nails. When we sat down, without asking me a single thing, she took a nail cutter and chopped my nails to my skin. It was very unpleasant and I was in shock. She moved so quickly that before I could say anything she cut it all off. She then took a drill to file down the nails and she cut the sides of my nails/skin, let the drill roll over my fingers, and when I jumped because it hurt so much she laughed. I was uncomfortable and kept moving my hand away to let her know, but it didn't change how she worked. She left my nails so brittle, jagged, and uneven that I had to try to salvage my nails when I returned home. It's been a bit over a week since this service and my nails have been and are still in physical pain. It hurts with any slight pressure to touch. I've attached photos of what my nails looked like prior to the appointment (my natural nails under the acrylic), right after (destroyed), and what it looks like now (after I filed, buffed, and added nail strengthener). You can see the small blood lines in the photo of what my nails look like due to slight pressure. This should not have happened with a simple removal and whoever worked on my nails should not be allowed to work on anyone else. read more

Now I know why they wanted a credit card when booking because they know how awful their service is. I go in there wanting a Gel X ombre which the owners husband and wife said "wait the tech is on the way" tech came and owner showed a photo on my phone and they put me on the chair for mani-and gel x and said we will give you exactly that. Not only did they, after trying for a long time but she couldn't get it, she goes i can only do single color since you have been here 4 hours now and I tried. I said it's ok bc what other choice did I have and she did try but couldn't...(owners lied that their tech can do a simple ombre gel x) and put a tech that they knew couldn't. While I was there another customer came in and started complaining about her nails she got done the day before. So they sat her and redid her nails. I got the single color which I never wanted, paid and left. That night within 12 hours I take a shower and 4 of my nails just come off in the shower. I went back and asked for them to fix it and I was very nice about it. The owner starts getting very upset, starts having a panic attack, tells me she is having a panic attack and she will sue me if something happens to her and she called the cops (i told her your health issues seem to be a you problem and i told her why are you shaking like this its just nails jesus‍ cops come and I explain and ask them to pull the cameras which shows how nice I was and how discusting the owner acted even though I was lied to. The cops saw the 4 nails in my hand and I explained that since it came off within 24 hrs, all I asked is for them to fix this 4. Cops were BOTH on my side and even made a comments about how wrong the owner was. Actually, they told me to "go on yelp and write a review" im assuming they wanted to protect other innocent clients. The cops said "we can't force her to give you service since she doesn't want to but go write a review on yelp" and even made a comment about how she is so wrong in this situation and I wasn't going to but I decided to take their advice since they are absolutely right. I need to protect innocent victims. Nobody know why in the world she called the cops cops were shocked since they have cameras in the nail bar and they can be reached to see who was causing the caos and who was so kind about the situation even though they lied to me about giving me the service I never got. But the owners are crazy specially the wife is mad at the world for some apparent reason and even said "you didn't even pay" i was like "dude you have cameras in here we did pay" and you can see all the other bad reviews on their site. Ill post my pink gel ex pic that I never asked for that came off within 24 hrs. And I will also include some photos of other customers on yelp that complained about even regular polish that they couldn't even accomplish correctly. Be careful with them because they call the cops knowing you haven't done anything or even caused any sort of drama. I scheduled classic pedicure appointment for my mom. According to her, the specialist was very nice and friendly. However, she was dissatisfied with the service itself. Everything was done very briefly: the manicure, massage and scrub. Also, not the best nail polish application. The classic pedicure should include scrubbing with either a pumice stone or foot file as it was quoted. It wasn't done properly. The classic pedicure takes 35-45 min. I added sugar scrub as extra as well. She also wished the technician used a lotion afterwards. read more

okay y'all. my nails are still recovering from an appointment I had in July and I feel the need to share my experience. booking was easy and when I came in, I was greeted in a friendly manner. the owner came over and handed me the color book, and since it was summer, it was Leo season, I wanted something bright and fun. I had booked a french gel manicure and I picked out a hot glittery pink for the French tip. the owner checked in and I showed her the color and she paused and says "...but you booked a French tip." I said yeah, and I'd like this color. I've never had anyone, in the decades I've been getting my nails done, react to me with such disdain. she led me to the nail tech's station and they had a long exchange before the owner walked off. the tech immediately grabbed my hands and began to remove the previous gel. she used not one but *three* different electric files to remove my gels. I was literally wincing and flinching by the time she was done. she barked at me about not knowing that I would have rubber base on my nails and I said I had no idea what she meant. she said "how could you not know???" and I said that the previous tech I saw at a different shop literally never mentioned it to me so I was not aware. she went on as she continued to file my nails down to pretty much nothing saying that she couldn't believe I had no idea and I felt really dumb. by the third file I could feel everything through my nail. meanwhile, she never once mentioned that she would be putting rubber base on my nails. she proceeded to clip my cuticles and she ravaged almost every single finger. I watched her put on the rubber base and then she carried on with the color application. I've never been so roughly handled in a salon in my life. as she went, she started to admire her work and at the end she told me she would be taking pictures. as she posed my hands, she said to me, verbatim, "I was really upset when I saw you wanted this color but it actually turned out really cute!" MA'AM. I have never, ever in my life had someone providing a service express that they were UPSET that I chose something that they had to offer. I reflected on the service and it really felt like she took out her anger on my nails the whole time. I could not believe that these words were being spoken to me. the one star speaks to the fact that they turned out cute. but I've included photos of the aftermath - there are CRATERS in my nails because of the three drills used on me. I've been documenting for the past few MONTHS how much damage control I've had to do. I have had to continuously cut down my nails every time they begin to grow because they are so damaged and weak. they have split into several layers, there are still indentations from the base of my nail that still hasn't grown out all the way. my nails have been peeling every which way and two are even lifting from the nail base. I suspect I won't be able to get another manicure until at least the new year which means that I will have spent the entire second half of this year trying to mend the damage done in 45 minutes. I don't care what gets said to me for posting this, I see other people have had similarly awful experiences so I know I'm not the only one and I'm literally never coming back here so whatever. you can come here but only if you fit very neatly into the boxes they expect you to, don't dare choose a color they don't like or look different than what makes them comfortable. update: in response to the follow-up from the owner left below, I was referring specifically to the previous review where you replied that the reviewer was "hellbent on ruining [your] reputation" and I have since removed that note. additionally, I waited the four months so that I could document the true extent of the damage over time, as evidenced in the numerous photos I posted taken between July and earlier this month. at the end of the service you asked me how I liked my nails and I said they looked great. there was no way for me to know the extent of the damage at that point so there was no way for me to report it, but also it's not uncommon for someone to feel timid to speak up about being dissatisfied after someone has literally told them that their choices for the service made them UPSET. lastly, it's clear exactly what went wrong and just because other people have reviewed you highly does not mean that I shared their experience. read more

Unsatisfied with my Russian manicure. When I arrived I waited 25min even though there was only one other client there. I overheard them repeating "Russian manicure" and it sounded as though the only 2 nail technicians who were there did not know how to do it. If that were the case they could have let me know and I would have saved $20 by getting a regular manicure instead. I've been coming here for almost 3 years and my experience is never consistent.
