It was about a 17-minute walk from where I was currently at, so I called to check availability before walking over. Dominique answered the phone and told me she was happy to take me in as soon as I arrived. I communicated what I wanted: to cut off at least 15 inches of hair for me to donate then just have her add layers so that my face would be framed nicely. I explained that I have naturally curly/wavy hair and that I don't want my hair shorter than my shoulders when curly. She listened intently and very clearly understood the assignment. I let her know that I didn't really have an "inspiration photo" for what I wanted my hair to look like, but she told me not to worry and I trusted her. Throughout the entire process, she communicated EVERYTHING to me! She knew I was nervous about having short hair again, so I truly appreciated her transparency with what she planned to do while cutting as it made me feel at ease. The outcome is PHENOMENAL! I LOVE my new haircut (and so does my husband)!!! When I left the salon, she had straightened it out and it looked beautiful. The next day I wore it natural and it looked just as amazing! I'm seriously so happy with how it turned out! Dominique is my new hairstylist moving whether she likes it or not! ;)

I literally started coughing from the fumes of that crap ! It's lighting base but didn't fix it. ! Now it's looks like cotton candy single prrocces on top and still messy uneven brassy patches on the both sides ! Instead of partial touch up highlights l asked she insisted on coloring my roots and used very rich wrong shade color on fine already highlighted hair wich gives my hair nasty "antique oxidized bronze statue " hues around my face and because l hate it she adds sloppy " don't give a flying shit " highlights!

Seeing as I'm anal about my hair, he was so good at checking in with me to make sure it was what I was going for along the way and I was so grateful he saw my vision and made it a reality. The place is cute and they were able to take me same-day which was super helpful. The prices were totally reasonable and I'm just so glad I found this place. The guy who cut my hair was super aggressive combing when it was wet (no sort of detangler or leave in was used) and it hurt my scalp, I knew he could see the CHUNKS of strands being pulled out of my scalp. It hurt so badly, I even said ouch. I asked for a trim with very very light layers. He cut at least two inches more than I asked. He went in thinning out my already thin fine hair. He then blow dried my hair with no product, and again my hair tangled, got pulled and even stuck in the hair brush. I left feeling like my hair got more frizzy, damaged and SUPER thin, which is already my insecurity. I'm so sad and upset about my hair. I am already on Amazon buying any product that will help my hair grow. I can't speak to their job coloring, or what it would be like for just a blow dry. Or if I'd actually had the stylist I booked the appointment for. But I can't recommend this place for a hair cut.

Because of that, I returned for what was supposed to be a simple root touch-up. Before starting the second appointment, I've received compliments from other hair stylists on how healthy my hair was. I've consistently been told my hair is thin but healthy, and I've worked very hard to maintain it. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite experience. I was at the salon for over six hours, significantly longer than my first visit. Multiple stylists were working on and checking my hair throughout the process, and I trusted that everything was going smoothly. No one checked in with me to approve the color before beginning to blow dry. When I finally saw the result, it was far from the platinum blonde I requested. Instead, my hair was left an orange-toned blonde. I had gone in for a root retouch, but they dyed my entire head without discussing that with me first. After I expressed concern about the color, I was suddenly told my hair was "very damaged" and breaking easily -- despite having complimented its health before starting. I was then told I needed a keratin treatment in order to proceed. This was not something I requested or agreed to; I was told it was necessary after the damage had already been done. During the wash, I could physically feel excessive pulling, and when I stood up, I saw a significant amount of my hair had fallen out. It was heartbreaking, especially after taking so much care of my hair. They attempted to adjust the tone, and while it became somewhat more acceptable, I ultimately left just blonde -- not the platinum blonde I originally had and specifically asked for. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the distress caused, and no adjustment to the bill. I paid full price for a service I was deeply unhappy with. To make matters worse, I later received a voicemail asking me to return and pay for the keratin treatment -- something I never wanted and was told I "needed" after their mistake. Even in that message, there was no apology. My first experience was wonderful, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after this visit, I will not be returning

However the person who cut and styled my hair was very rough and yanked my hair a lot because his "technique" for blowout was very messy and my hair kept getting tangled. The cut was good nothing crazy, i asked for blowout curls on the ends and showed him pictures, he curled my hair with a wand that also yanked on my hair a lot and he didn't even hairspray it so by the time i got home most of the curls already fell out. ALSO what was a big no no that I didn't notice at first was that they use the same brushes between multiple clients and don't clean them between each use. I saw brushes with blonde hair in them that were being used on the girl next to me with black hair so I know it wasn't clean. The brushes he used on me i couldn't tell if they were already used but after he finished my hair he put the brushes back in his caddy ready to use again. I'm giving 2 stars for service but I will not be going back I do not want to risk getting lice or a bacterial infection.

I went in for a color correction and full set of highlights. The results were appalling. The stylists have no clue what they're doing. This is a photo of the highlights done aka zebra stripes. The solution to this? The stylist, Elizabeth just added dye to cover up the highlights. The end result? Darker hair than I had previously. I could have easily bought a box of hair color and dyed my hair if I wanted this. Went to the owner to find some resolution, he was rude, arrogant and dismissive. Photo of the zebra striped highlights on the right and then the undesired end results on the left. Terrible job, and no compensation for a disgraceful job. I'm embarrassed for them.

I first found Ben as I needed a blow out before an event, and my first experience was great. He runs the entire salon himself, he does take walk ins but it's best if you call ahead of time. I then went back to Ben for a hair color! I wanted to go dark and he delivered. No green or unwanted color in my hair, and of course the perfect blow out. I will be going back to Ben in the spring for highlights! To do one color on my long hair, with blow out, I paid ~$120 with tip. For just the blow out I paid $40 with tip.
