My bumper was cracked in two places near the trunk. He said he would contact me later with more accurate pricing and as I waited for him, I checked a few other places online nothing that stood out to me. Claudio contacted me back within 30 minutes and gave me the pricing options and I decided to take my car to Diego's Auto Body, the price was fair and he gave me a really good honest vibe. Dropped off my car and a couple of days later he said he was ahead of schedule and my car was ready. My car was parked in front looking just like new, I am so happy with the results and the workmanship Claudio put into the replacement bumper and paint repairs on my doors. Claudio is honest and very hard working, I also like that he is in my neighborhood and it makes me feel good to support local business, especially during these unprecedented times. I brought my Miata in because the front bumper was a bit distorted and showed signs of a messy repair from some time in the past. Luis carefully inspected the car, gave his opinion about the needed repairs, explained why some possible options were not good ones, and wrote up an estimate. I was consistently impressed with Luis's earnest personality and his willingness to take time with me to get things done right. I sat at his desk as he called around to ensure that we could get the correct OEM bumper for the car. During the course of the repair, Luis called to explain two necessary delays. Once, a part he planned on salavaging could not be salvaged, so he needed to order a part. On the second occasion, he discovered he needed a proprietary fastener from Mazda to ensure that my bumper stayed tightly attached. Although no one likes waiting for their car to be fixed, I appreciated his efforts to keep me informed and to provide me the best possible repair. Then, the car was ready. The surface was smooth and glossy and the paint match was about as good as I could ask for (there's always a slight difference between plastic bumpers and metal fenders). The rest of the car also received a good wash before they returned it to me. No one likes to spend money on repairs, and paint work is just inherently expensive. Still, if you have to spend the money, you might as well get it done right. I certainly recommend Long Beach Collision Center.
