I looked around for an auto body center near my home and I came across Diego's Auto Body, I needed my bumper replaced and painted after I got rear ended by ?? & I checked out some of the reviews and they looked good, I took a drive over there and met Claudio the Owner, I spoke to him about what had happen to my car and also some additional work that I wanted done like key scratches on my doors from ?? he was very professional and courteous, and gave me options that would best fit my needs. My bumper was cracked in two places near the trunk. He said he would contact me later with more accurate pricing and as I waited for him, I checked a few other places online nothing that stood out to me. Claudio contacted me back within 30 minutes and gave me the pricing options and I decided to take my car to Diego's Auto Body, the price was fair and he gave me a really good honest vibe. Dropped off my car and a couple of days later he said he was ahead of schedule and my car was ready. My car was parked in front looking just like new, I am so happy with the results and the workmanship Claudio put into the replacement bumper and paint repairs on my doors. Claudio is honest and very hard working, I also like that he is in my neighborhood and it makes me feel good to support local business, especially during these unprecedented times. I had some work done on my Hyundai in May 2020 (during the pandemic) No delays or hassles with the rules, we both wore masks, no problems. I wanted to avoid contacting my insurance company as I didn't want my premiums to increase. I received 3 local cash estimates. Diego's Auto Body was the lowest and the most fair. The quote was lower by $990 on one quote and $500 on another quote. I told them I wanted the car to look presentable, not necessarily "top shelf". My car was completed on time and looked more than presentable. It looked great. The work was done on time and the owner was very pleasant, honest and friendly. I must say I've been to a few body shops in my life and this shop is as clean as I've ever seen. It was well secured and immaculate. Will definitely recommend to anyone. Claudio took a 2009 Nissan Altima that was looking pretty rough and turned it into a jewel. Body work, buff and clear coated headlights. The car was returned spotlessly clean and exactly on the 3rd day as promised. A very nice and honest fellow. I highly recommend. read more

Well, their price was so reasonable for cash customers but when I mentioned insurance the price more than doubled but the insurance company won't pay that price. Now I can't fix the car because I can't afford it. I hate the American insurance game that people play. Just give me a real price and not bullshit. read more

I had some big dings on my front bumper on the passenger side. Took my car in on Friday and got it back early Monday. The dings were completely gone and the paint job was fantastic! I would rate this Auto Body shop an A+! I will definitely be referring my family and friends to this place and will go back for any other dings that come my way. Two big dings on my 2012 prius. Dings is not even the right word...holes, yes holes on the driver side passenger door plus 2 deep slices on my spoiler. $ 2100 if I went thru my insurance. The lowest quote (out of my pocket expense) is $1100. Señor Cantoni charged me $500. Brought the car in Monday 8am - ready by 5pm Tuesday. Perfect work! I don't want to say, I'll be back - nobody wants an accident - but I will recommend him to anybody who needs body work on his car! read more

My car's passenger side of front and rear doors were swiped by a very old man who could not see at night in February 2017. Because of no witness, both insurances were in dispute whose fault it was. Since I only bought liability coverage, I had to repair out of my pocket. I drove around the town and received half dozen of the body repair quotes. Without insurance, the prices between $3000 and $4500. The pricy parts were the two door panels or shells. Finally, I came to Wilmington, there were interesting shops. Some said they could repair, not replace doors, some could do either. I studied enough to guess the front door that damaged so severe would not be repairable even though that price was only $800. Then I found this Diego's shop which seems half decent. Claudio quoted me $1400 assuming he could find an used front door for about $600 and repair the rear door. I took a leap of faith and went ahead did it. After three day, as he promised, my car was ready to be picked up. I went there and saw the two doors looked great as before damages. In addition, my other scratches were straighten out a little and missed paints were touched with paint. I was quite happy for all the process and thought I needed to write this review for those who did not know this shop! read more

Shopped around for a place to have my leased Prius repaired prior to turning it in. I had damage in the rear and the front from a parking lot. An inconsiderate individual hit me and did not leave a note. One body shop told me that the insurance company would treat it as three separate accidents so it did not make sense to go through the insurance company. I found Claudio on Yelp and got a bid from him. He was by far the lowest bidder with one shop giving me a bid that was more than three times what Claudio charged. I was apprehensive about the quality of the work but all my fears were put to rest when I saw the final product. It was beautiful. The work was practically undetectable even though I had been told at one shop how difficult the repair would be. And the vehicle passed the inspection with flying colors!
