We needed to get the bumper and taillight repaired on our van, but could not have the van out of commission for an extended period of time. I went all around town getting quotes for the work and everyone said the same thing: "It'll be expensive and will take about two weeks to complete the repair". American Eagle Auto Body & Paint was actually recommended by another repair shop (they have to be good if a competitor recommends them). I stopped by and spoke with Rooben and he explained to me that he could order the parts and paint the new bumper all without keeping our van. His quote was also INCREDIBLY competitive. Rooben lived up to his promise and it only took about 30 total minutes to attach the new bumper and taillight. I cannot recommend Rooben and the staff at American Eagle Auto Body enough. I found American Eagle Auto Body Shop on Google Maps and they did a GREAT JOB! 5/5 stars. I was skeptical about going here but after readying a couple reviews I had to try them out. They matched the paint on my Nissan 350z, blended it well, gave me a CHEAP price, detailed and waxed my car. They did way more then I expected! I popped by here with a motorcycle tank that needed three layers of clear coat and some joker (or as he called himself 'master painter') quoted me $500. Five hundred dollars for a motorcycle tank! When i said i didn't think it should be that much he immediately told me the lowest he would do it was $300. Thats pretty much admitting he was trying to over-charge me $200 of the bat. I couldn't possibly recommend a small business in Los Angeles more than heading over to Rooben over at American Eagle if you've had the unfortunate experience of your car getting banged up. They are affordable, fast, and will crush it on the quality of work. Wait a minute... maybe that was a bad choice of words. They'll smash it. Dang it. You know what I mean. Their work is top notch. If a fully, brand new parts repair is out of your budget Rooben will do things like source a used bumper to try and get things closer to your ball park. My car battery had been stolen, and the AAA technician who replaced it recommended that I get the hood fixed and a lock installed asap. Initially I took my car to Pep Boys (across the street from AE and who are also the BEST), but because I mistakenly thought the hood needed body work, Pep Boys referred me to American Eagle. Rooben and his staff were wonderful, quickly ordering a replacement part needed to close my hood and allowing me to keep my car in their garage overnight to keep the new battery safe until the part came in. So grateful! They fixed the hood (better than before) and worked with me on additional and very creative safety measures to prevent the future theft of my battery. Loved them!!! American Eagle has been my go to auto body shop for 4 years. Rooben and his team are professional knowledgeable and highly experienced in all aspects of repair. He goes the extra mile every time by fixing minor unrelated areas of the car with out extra fees to deliver a very gratifying experience. A few years ago I brought my Prius to him just before returning it to Toyota when the lease was expired. The car was a mess with scratches dents and bumped all over it. My manly person took our car here twice for minor repairs. Rooben was very friendly and provided an upfront estimate of the without obligation of using his shop. Since we had to pay out of pocket, he gave a practical recommendation on whether we should have the work done or not. We opted out of one of the repairs (bumper). With the second repair (side mirror) the shop was very flexible and allowed me to come in on my schedule. I took my Camaro in for a paint job. It was in really bad shape and needed some body work as well. After agreeing on price which was very fair I was shocked to get my car back and the way it looked. It was like brand new especially a black paint which is super hard to remove imperfections and clean job since black shows everything. I had been having problems opening my car door, and finally it stopped closing, too. So I drove around the corner, holding the door shut myself, to American Eagle. I can't say enough about Rooben and American Eagle. He is as honest a businessman as I've found and never tries to sell you on repairs you don't need. A true gem of Silverlake's Hyperion/Fountain Avenue auto repair corridor. The first car I brought to him was a 1974 Mercedes which had been hit-and-run, with extensive damage to the fender and headlight. After receiving another quote of $3500 we decided to check with a little shop closer to our home. Rooben quoted us $1500! The mechanical work was superb and the paint match was great. The second time I went to American Eagle was after a front end collision in a 1995 Toyota truck. Rather than try to sell me on repairs that would cost more than the truck was really worth he told me to save my money and put it towards a newer car. I was impressed with his honesty to say the least, as most auto shops I've ever been to try to squeeze some money out of you one way or another. On July 4th, while I was enjoying the holiday at the beach, someone decided to side swipe my car (they didn't even leave a note). Knowing that I didn't want to pay to much out of pocket I started to freak out because I personally didn't want to drive around with a dented driver side door. I had a friend with me who told me about American Eagle Auto Body Shop, she said they did a great job fixing her bumper after she was in her accident. I decided to listen to my friend and I went on Google and got their number. I'm glad I went to American Eagle Auto Body Shop because not only were they able to fix the side of my car, but it was at a very good price (hence why I was freaking out in the first place). They even fixed minor dents on the car that I made without charging me extra. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs their services. I actually plan on going back to fix other minor dents and scratches that my car has acquired throughout the years. For the price they offered, I would be an idiot not to do it.
