They wanted to bury a line that ran through my property to my neighbors. They asked my wife for permission at which point she told them they needed to deal with me, her husband about the request. I was never contacted. PERIOD. 2 days later I Come home to a trench running from my backyard to my front driveway. Come to find out they decided to lay the line without permission! I contacted charter and angrily expressed my issue with them. A supervisor came out to my house a day or so later telling me they have an easement and didn't need my permission. What do I want an apology? I told him to show me the easement- as I had already done my homework, contacting my title company. There was only 1 easement for pacific power! After 2 months of dealing with a regional manager, they finally agreed they had no easement and no right to bury the line on my property without my permission. I made them remove the line and negotiated a small cost to them to repair what they had done. However, due to their blatant disregard for personal property and lack of knowledge regarding their rights of easements I will never do business with them. I wonder how many other people they were able to strong-arm... Others who may not have taken the time to make sure charter was doing things legally and ethically...

I wrote the installer a check for $85. I figured that this was the activation fee I was told about because nobody at Fireserve ever mentioned that there was an INSTALLATION fee, in addition to the ACTIVATION fee. You have to pay $185 just to begin service with this company, before you even get to find out if the service is any good. No one bothers to tell you, in writing or otherwise, that self-installation is even an option. Of course I would rather do that than dish out $85 I'm not even told about. Two months later (today) I receive my first bill in the mail. I have a $218.85 balance after two months of internet service! The due date is next Wednesday, five days from when I received the bill. No previous bills have been received by mail or email, so this was certainly a surprise. I was told that I had not received any bills because they made a typo with my email address. They also spell my name as Brian, not Ryan. I'm unimpressed with this company. Hopefully Charter Communications services your area, unlike my home. Those big ISPs are a pain to deal with, but at least you won't get gouged for what is essentially a $185 install.

I was greeted by a sales person by the name of Lea. Wow what a difference from the experience I had at one of the other U.S. Cellular locations. Lea, was one of the most helpful service employees I have dealt with. She answered my question, she didn't try to sell me a more expensive service plan that I was interested in. She just left me with a feeling of appreciation for taking the time to help me. I stopped by this business because of the trouble I've had with my Verizon service, and the dropped calls I've experience with Verizon. Lea set me up with a temporary service that I can compare with Verizon, so far it appears U.S. Cellular is superior and provides a better signal at my home. Price wise the monthly costs are close, U.S. Cellular's plan gives me more data for the money than the plan I have with Verizon.

It's allowed me to cut the cable and stream all of our shows through Apple TV and computer networks. We have tried to get their service department to help us. They have not followed through. I wait and wait and wait. They never call through. They never call back. They never show up and they never set appointment so do not go with this company!!!!

I looked into purchasing a phone w/Sprint, my old carrier, but they could not give me a decent monthly plan price + purchase price. So I shopped around and found out that I could get a pretty good price on monthly plan w/US Cellular, AND they would pay my early termination fee, AND give me $150 credit card for in-store purchases. Plus the cost of my new Iphone was quite reasonable. I came in the store two days in a row, yesterday to buy my phone, and today to get toys (extra car chargers, mount for car, case, tempered glass for screen, etc etc---all paid for w/my $150 credit card)... each employee here was very helpful to the customers and knowledgeable, friendly, patient.. Great experience! Special kudos to Josiah for making this a smooth transition, answering all my questions and putting on my new tempered glass screen protector. And I do get better cell service w/US Cellular than I was getting with Sprint!

Firstly, they disconnected our phone lines before we made the switch to the new company, proceeded to pretend they didn't know why our phones were working, then after 3 requests to release our phone numbers they finally did so the new company could get our phone lines up and running. Then Hunter asked to come get their equipment from our building which we allowed them to enter and they took the router that the new company just installed! When your business is run 95% on communication with customers and using internet run programs for customer information I refuse to do business with a company that acts so childish because someone decides to change providers. I'm not the only business in this town who is switching because they have had nothing but problems. If I could rate it 0 stars I absolutely would.

Making a ticket for a bill compensation when they're well aware there is an outage is ridiculous. We're one major inconvenience away from going back to Spectrum, which says a lot since that bar is practically on the ground.
