He was a really chill guy and the atmosphere of the place was cool -could definitely see it as a place to hang around a drink coffee. Getting coffee at this place was the highlight of working on this side of BK. Imagine my surprise and how disrespected I felt when I ordered my usual coffee and toasted croissant and was told that it could not be toasted. The server then followed up with, "I don't usually toast the croissants." "Well I get my croissants toasted every single time I order it here so that can't true," I responded. She informed me that burritos were in the toaster oven. I told her that I only wanted the croissant if it can be toasted; she quickly removed the charge. My coffee was made and I looked over to an EMPTY toaster oven...EMPTY. How DISRESPECTFUL to lie to a customer! What POOR CUSTOMER service it is to not even offer me to wait until the toaster oven became available, which happened in about two minutes (three minutes tops). I will NEVER give my money to this establishment again!!! read more

What horrible costumer service. I have never felt welcomed there. Their coffee is good but it seems to me that everyone who works there is under some impression that they are far too hip to be nice and give good service. Also a little ridiculous if you charge extra for getting a small coffee in a median size cup. Some people like some extra room but they shouldn't have pay extra for more room. Love this place! I really enjoyed their taste in music. I can't really have dairy, I haven't had a latte for a long time at coffee shops. This place, however, has multiple non-dairy milk options! This includes coconut (!!!!), almond and soy milk. Their latte combinations are also very interesting. I will definitely be back. read more

I keep passing by this place because it's on my way to the subway. I decided to stop by to grab matcha latte and a breakfast burrito, can't say a lot about food, because no one ever served me what I ordered. What I definitely had a chance to notice is a really rude staff, I never understand why people go to work in customer service if they don't want to be nice and polite to the customers. After waiting for my order for 10 minutes (it's a coffee shop, not the restaurant) I figured that no one even cared to put the burrito to warm up and they were not even sure if they have a vegan one... isn't smth what you supposed to check while you are placing an order. I was told to wait another 20 minutes, I don't have this time in the early morning. No one apologized to me, neither checked my credit card for reimbursement, they believed I was only one who ordered a matcha latte... well will see if I would ever see the money back on my account. Some of the best cold brew in Brooklyn, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood as you can grab your cuppa and run up the stairs to the train. I went into this coffee shop with my gf to grab a drink and a quick breakfast to go. The first thing I noticed is that everything is extremely unorganized. I ordered a cafe au lait and the barista did a poor job of explaining that I had to walk to the end of the counter, pour my own coffee, and then bring it back to the espresso machine to add the steamed milk. This seemed really inefficient. We ordered a breakfast burrito to stay, a seemingly simple thing, but the way it was presented was less than ideal. They took the pre-made, tinfoiled burrito out of a container, slapped it on a plate, unwrapped it with ungloved hands and slid it across the counter. To add to this, we immediately found a foot long black hair inside the burrito when she bit into it! Trying to be discreet, my gf brought it back to the counter and whispered that there was a hair (trying not to let other customers hear). The barista responsed with a casual "oh, ok" and asked if she "like wanted another one or something". No apology, no chance of any hint of customer service. After messing with the computer for a bit, they figured out how to refund the credit card and went back to joking with themselves. Overall, really bad customer service, unclean food handling and some bland coffee. Will not be going back read more

I really like this place. Every barista I've had has been super friendly. Almost too friendly before I've had my coffee. The coffee is tasty and the breakfast burritos are bomb. As a note, I'm not a huge meat eater at all so I get mine without bacon. However, I still think the one without has some sort of meat in it? If you're a true vegetarian then I'd definitely ask to be sure! read more

As someone who spends a lot of time in coffe shops I would definitely reccomend this one above all others. Walking in your hit with the smells of amazing freshly brewed coffee. The baristas know their stuff as well. From hot cocoa's, to their AMAZING bacon egg cheese and hot sauce burritos, to their coffees and doughnuts this is one one those cafes you are definitely going to revisit. Besides for the amazing food the aesthetic is nothing like I have seen before.
