I was waiting for some sizable checks from the insurance company so that construction could continue on my residence, I had been paying the contractor out of my pocket. TD held the mortgage so I reached out to the manger ahead of time to let her know so that she could work on the process on her end as the bank needed to sign off on the checks. I stressed the importance of this as I had to pay the contractor and I was aware it was summer and vacation season for many. She assured me it would be taken care of. Well when she didn't respond to my phone calls and emails a couple of days later I called the branch and was told she went on vacation. She did so without informing her staff of anything that was going on. She did the one thing she assured me would not happen. Her staff got it taken care of after some time, I never even received an apology from her. Not that I was surprised at that she was a very judgmental woman from the beginning. When I went into speak with her the first time and told her the amount of the checks she looked at me and asked me if I burned my house down. Apparently a professional woman can't wear jeans and a T-shirt and some skulls on her day off without being judged. While this branch is awful TD as a whole is horrific. Think twice about getting your mortgage through them. They nitpicked every detail on all my bank information from the letterhead it was on to what side of the paper the account type was written on. Then about a week and a half later they get back to me telling me the names don't match. I'm sorry wouldn't the names be the first thing you checked??!!

In that time they hit me with $7 more of interest therefore requiring THAT to be covered also now. So they hit you with extra interest until they decide to process the payment.
