Wow we came here last night October 10 2025. 6 houses one price $40. Free parking. We got there at 7 pm stayed till 10:30. Went through all houses. They had two fire pits LOTS of Scare people! I didn't know what to expect from this event at first but we were pleasantly surprised by how good everything turned out. We happened to be in NY visiting family and my wife wanted to fit in a few Halloweens inspired events while in the area. She found Field of Horrors via Facebook and further investigated how to buy tickets at Fieldofhorros.com. Tickets were $40 each and you get 6 haunted houses. Dates are limited to Friday-Sunday; we decided to go on Friday October 10th. We arrived shortly after opening time and were able to find a parking spot and gain entry into the event quickly. The lines fill up quickly so be sure to get there as early as you can. We went through four of the haunted houses in the first hour or so of being there and saved the last two after taking a 40-minute break. The last two houses took a lot longer because of our break, but it was still shorter than waiting for a ride a Disney. The characters in the haunted houses did a great job and acted as if they really wanted to be there, thanks for your hard work! No problems from security being too overbearing like other reviewers noted, but know that once you enter you cannot leave to go to your car and come back in again, so be sure to have everything you need before entering the park. Most staff working the entry to the houses were very friendly except one young girl who had no personality and wouldn't even talk guests entering, very unfriendly. Things you should know before you go: The park is all outdoors and is primarily a paintball park. It can be dirty and muddy in some areas so be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. There is no alcohol sold on the premises, but they do sell other beverages including coffee, cider, and plenty of food items. You cannot take photographs or video inside the haunted houses, you also cannot touch characters, if you do, they will remove you from the park. The last haunted house we went in, I believe it was called 'Condemned,' is very difficult to go through. I do not recommend young children or elderly going through this house. The house is pumped full of smoke to the point that you cannot see two inches in front of your face and there is a continuously flashing strobe which doesn't help you find your way through. The only way you can get through this house is if you feel and follow the chain linked fence or the person in front of you as you walk but that doesn't even work for the most part because there are several dead ends. That's pretty much what's so scary about this place is that you can't get out once you get in, it took us about 15-minutes to find our way out. Other things I enjoyed about the Field of Horrors is the scare zone characters - they stayed in character but were willing to take photographs when asked. We also appreciated the bonfire available for guests; it was in the 50's that night so it was a nice touch. We had a blast and felt that this was definitely worth the $40 per person. As others have said, I would give it a zero if I could. It was extremely underwhelming right from the start. We were handed cards at the counter (with no explanation of what they were for), and sent on our way. We got in the gate, and still nothing. It was dark, there was no direction, no staff providing guidance of where to go, just people EVERYWHERE. We made it to what eventually looked like the end of a line, only to find out the hour+ wait was for only one of six haunted houses. That house lasted about 3 mins and we were right back at the same place with ridiculous lines everywhere. At that point, we all left. Do yourself a huge favor and pay the extra money to experience the Headless Horseman, it's fantastic! read more

I'll be honest after reading these reviews I came here with low expectations. I could not have been more wrong (I like to be proved wrong). The quality of the houses was honestly quite impressive (my favorite was the green and the blue lit up house). I'm from LA and am used to universal horror nights level production and this honestly was impressive still. Some good scares. I think the best part is that they only let your party when you begin the maze and give good space between you and other parties. Feels like a VIP experience lol. Highly recommend. Plenty of free parking. Allot about 2 hours to get through it all. Highly recommend. Better houses than the one in ulster park IMO. read more

This would be the 3rd year attending, and our last. Arrived as soon as they opened, only had time for 1 haunted house due to long lines. Every year has gotten worse. Also, patrons under 18 that were unsupervised ruining the experience for everyone around them. Would've liked to try to stay to experience the food and vendors but had to leave because there was an annoying clown running around with an obnoxious horn, not even slightly scary, just extremely annoying. read more

if I could give a zero I would. The owner was also the bouncer at the door. I asked to leave to get a drink of water out of my car as I had paid $240 for six people and my kids were inside running around. I was told by a rude guy, who said he was the owner, at the door that I could not leave. He said to go buy a drink at the stand and I said my pocketbook is in the car! He then proceeded to tell me that I was rude And that I could not leave. Awful. The first scary house I went into was a joke and nothing scary in it...only a smoke room. Expensive. Crap. Cheap. Went to the field of horrors around 8pm. 35$ per ticket and included 6 different activities you could do. Several great haunted houses. Amazing decorations and great atmosphere- had a DJ playing music as we sat around fire pits relaxing. Tremendous effort went into the decorations and the setup. Great job. I give a 0 star to the guy working the door. I'm guessing he is the owner by his authoritative demeanor , no customer service skills whatever, very rude with his interrogations as people enter. He felt like a hall monitor in a juvenile detention center. I'm a grown ass woman and his tone was a crappy way to start our family outing. Pro's: Haunted houses were pretty good. Cons: Most have strobe lights which are plane annoying, terrible wait times wait 1- 2 hours to wait in line to go through a measly 6-7 house. Was told we can use our tickets next weekend due to them allowing a large group of people for tickets for "next weekend" today which caused the huge que. Line for buying tickets went down the road & once most got in I was only able to go on 2 rides In the time frame of 5 hours, also all shops/ food stands don't take cash. 30$ a ticket for only 2 houses, I think next Halloween we will be looking elsewhere. Overall feel like like this park changed a lot since my last trip 6 years ago & unfortunately for the worst. Likely will not come back like we were offered by the owner. read more

This place is the absolute real deal. I've done the Double M and Liberty Ridge Farms before in the past, and usually left somewhat disappointed. Not here. Well worth the price of admission and I will certainly be returning next year. read more

This was so amazing . We arrived pretty early in the night so there were no lines and the houses get straight to the point. The actors are so into their characters and scaring people. All the houses were super unique and not like the usual butcher house or clown house. They really scare you at this place !! read more

I'm giving 3 stars because the haunted houses are very good. I think this event has grown in popularity so much over the past few years, that it is actually not large enough to accommodate all the customers. Also, there is very little attention to cleanliness. There was no soap, water, or hand sanitizer in the sanitation stations. Really? horrible place to work at. very high school based drama and i was discriminated for who i was and kicked out of a scene because the actors simply didn't like me from lies told to them by morgan robertson or shannon phelan. when i went to management they threatened to fire me. it's very childish and it sucks for people like me who love the haunt business. they ruined it for me. as long as these two ladies work at this establishment i will keep telling everyone the truth and not to go here. it isn't worth it anyways the acting sucks. go to a legitimate haunt if you want a real experience this mom and pop business could care less about anybody but themselves and all they care about is are they making money. i used to be so excited for this place but now it's a place with such nasty memories. read more

This review is two parts; the first is that the actual horror houses and hayrides are really awesome and fun. It seems like they don't cut corners and really put effort into making it realistic. Secondly, the way that security and the actors handled situations was very unprofessional and disrespectful. They approached customers in an aggressive manner and were very accusative. ill say it loud for the people in the back - don't waste your time or money! i should've been alerted when a couple was trying to sell their tickets to people waiting in line for a discounted price. for almost $30/ticket, you would expect there to be some sort semblance of order. lines went to literally nowhere. there were groups of hundreds standing together, shuffling along to nothing. they sent groups of 20-25 people at a time through the haunted house, so there was no scare factor for those unfortunate enough to be at the back of the group. it's cash only, no receipt, so chances of arguing for a refund are slim. don't make the same mistake i did. read more

Some girl in the toxic terror got a bad attitude, not sure what her issue is but she followed us yelling at us to turn a flashlight off, our pregnant friend realized she had made a mistake going in this house because there were many tripping hazards. (not the best idea when the lights are off don't you think? Pregnant or not) This little girl has enough nerve to say "who cares!?" when we are trying to help our friend get out. She got a piece of our mind to say the least, you weren't even scary girl give it a rest its not that serious. read more

Over all my family had a great time going through the haunted houses here I would have given 5 stars had it not been for an incident involving what I can assume was a Pharoah in mummies curse the character got uncomfortably close to my wife and child as in just about touching them my wife says she felt his body rub up on hers and she didnt like it nor was it wanted. As for the rest of our stay at mummies curse it was fantastic my son was so scared that he literally cried outside the exit and oddly enough a very nice mummy came out and helped to calm him down but still very upset over that Pharoah he was just past this giant spider so although I do still recommend visiting the field of horrors I simply warn watch put for the creep in the Pharoahs custome. As for the haunted hayride they did great scared me half to death and we have to say our favorite house was condemned manor. Almost shit my self read more

First let me start off by saying that I used to really enjoy this place! This was my third year in a row visiting with a large group of friends and we always had a great time! Last weekend, my friend group and I got together to visit and everything seemed normal until we reached the new haunted house Toxic Terror, I noticed immediately that the staff was approaching us at a much closer proximity. In this house, the staff followed us around and got not even an inch from my face, which was really uncomfortable but I just laughed it off. The Return of The Mummy's curse was almost the exact same as the previous year. The worst part of the night was Insanity. For starters, I totally get the concept of making like a rave. It's scary not being able to see in front of you from so much fog, that doubled with the strobe lights does make for a good environment. But again in this house, a young, larger girl with blonde hair and an "x" or a cross on her forehead headbutted me. I think she was trying to get in my face to intimidate me because the fog was the scariest thing in this house. I told her to get away from me and she proceeded to follow us, scream in my ear and headbutt me again. I've always been one who doesn't like to get touched and the fact that I left that house with an egg on my forehead was just unacceptable. It almost led to a fight, to which she threatened to throw us out with "no refunds." Honestly, the houses just aren't that scary and the fact that the staff is a bunch of high school kids who like to try and intimidate strangers by invading their personal space and even injuring them is pathetic. The hayride was the best attraction by far and even during that, I counted 6 people who got in my face. One even spit on me by accident. One actually put his hands on my face. One of the girls in my group had one staff member almost on top of her, to the point where her boyfriend was concerned for her safety and again they threatened to kick us out when we told them that was enough. On the way out of the hayride, the cannibal house or whatever it is has staff in it who crawl through your legs and rub against you. Also they throw severed body parts at your feet as you're leaving. To top it all off as my group and I were leaving, battered and bruised, we saw a young girl crying standing with her mother talking to security. She had scratch marks on her neck and her face was all red. The mother said someone assaulted her 11 year old daughter and she was going over security's head and calling the police. After checking to see if they needed anything, we finally got out of there. This isn't McKamey Manor. We didn't sign up for this. I signed up to get scared and expected reasonable injuries like maybe tripping or falling. Please train the staff or hire more professional staff because people are getting injured in unreasonable and unexpected ways. We have decided not to return next year. read more
