If you need treatment for TMJ, this is your place! Dr. Fields is so well versed in treating TMJ, that after 6 treatments (adjustments and shockwave) I am able to fully open my mouth after my jaw locked up causing pain and limiting my ability to open my mouth for several months. I chose this practice based on their use and knowledge of shockwave therapy, but I was incredibly impressed with the depth of knowledge to not only treat the specific jaw issue but address all of the cranial and neck restriction. In addition, I was provided with exercises to do at home to support the treatment. Within 6 treatments, I have full range of motion of my jaw, and skills to help keep my spine in the correct curvature and strengthen neck muscles. The manual treatments of the head and jaw muscles can be very painful but generally brief (so be forewarned), however, the shockwave treatments are not painful. But compared to the constant pain of a jaw that is stuck, the treatment manipulation pain was well worth it. I am so grateful for this treatment. As an update to my previous review... the day after my visit I had some soreness. It's now 48 hours later and the intense pain i was having in my left hip is completely gone. I can walk normally without a limp again and without feeling like i need to be careful. All soreness is also that is gone. PLEASE READ THIS TO THE END: I know there is a 1 star rating for Dr. Fields for ECT -nasal treatment. Please be aware that Dr. Fields has done the same ECT on infants, toddlers, & pre-schoolers. Yes, the children do scream and cry BUT there are adults who also yelp or cry out because it's a natural response to tense up when the balloon goes into the nose or when a tight muscle like the back, neck, or jaw is released. Occasionally other patients will help a parent hold down a child to keep the child still during an ECT balloon treatment. My significant other has helped to keep a child still in the past in order to keep the child safe. SERIOUSLY---It was more traumatizing for the adults. If there was ever an issue with ECT- nasal treatment by Dr. Fields then I believe that Dr. Fields, himself, would of stopped practicing ECT on very young kids. He doesn't ever want to harm a patient. My SO has seen at least 6 of those kids now in Dr. Fields office STILL seeing Dr. Fields because they active in dance, volleyball, soccer, football, etc. Ironically my SO remembers these kids & their parents but the kids do not remember my SO. The kids don't remember being at Dr. Fields screaming or crying when my SO was holding their legs. The parents remember my SO and have given words of thanks & comfort to my SO. The parents confirm that their kids like Dr. Fields and believe that if it had been a truly bad experience then their kids would of rejected the continued visits for their sports injuries to their arms, legs, necks, shoulders, etc. If you google or look for any complaints about Dr. Fields then aside from the Yelp 1 star review there is a Reddit comment about Dr. Fields being "too positive" in his YouTube Videos. As an update from my earlier review, the next level of shockwave therapy done by Tom has literally done the last mile after the heavy lifting done by Dr Adam with his correction. Literally I see the flexibility of my right shoulder able to reach my neck without any difficulty. The way Tom treated my shoulder in three sessions has done the last trick. The journey of my frozen shoulder was when I couldn't tuck my shirt on the back to now where I can take the right hand behind the back and reach the neck. It's the treatment which is at its best. I had debilitating issues with one Achilles tendon and an elbow. Adam Fields and his team diagnosed issues and started various therapies including heat, massage, chiropractic, and electricity. I came to Dr Fields after finding a lot of relief from my TMJ pain through his youtube videos. I wasn't able to get rid of the pain completely on my own though so I made an appointment. I was amazed at how present and patient he was and how much RELIEF I got from the shockwave treatment after only 1 session. I had been suffering everyday for months and I know TMJ can be really hard to treat so I didnt expect such profound healing so fast. I came every week for a month and now I have absolutely no pain at all! I've been seeing Adam for my knee for about a month and have noticed such a huge difference! My baker's cyst has totally gone away from the deep tissue massage he does, work with the laser, and the soundwave machine that Alejandro experts works! I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia last year and was in a lot of pain. The excruciating sharp pain attacks occurred when I eat, floss, brush teeth, wash face, and sometime even from talking. I did a head MRI and found that my 5th cranial (trigeminal) nerve was dented. I found an acupuncture specialist with a PhD for treatment and had some relief for a while but the pain didn't go away. Then I found Dr. Fields with the hope that his cranial adjustment specialty would help my condition to reduce pain. After the initial 5 days treatment, the pain attacks went away for a few weeks but returned. I had another follow up treatment with Dr. Fields and finally started to take Gabapentin since the pain was so much worse and more frequent. A few weeks later, the pain attacks came on less frequent and eventually stopped. I then stopped with my acupuncture treatment and also stopped taking Gabapentin. I have not had a pain episode for 6 months now. I recently did another head MRI and found that my 5th cranial nerve is no longer dented. I believe the cranial adjustment received from Dr. Field and the neck exercises that he showed me along with my acupuncture treatments had helped me with my trigeminal neuralgia. I first saw Dr Adam years ago with carpal tunnel syndrome.  I had been a massage therapist of 24 years, the work was tough on my wrists and was recommended for surgery.  Through multiple treatments (some comfortable and some painful) he worked through my carpal tunnel problem and surgery was avoided.  The pain never returned again! We all want to heal our bodies in the best way possible, and Dr. Adam Fields practice of Endonasal Cranial Therapy (ECT) is one possible way of accomplishing that in, what would seem, a very effective manner. Or is it? I started an ECT series with Dr. Fields and found out, midway through the series, that Dr. Fields apparently has no formal training or certification in ECT. I discontinued the treatment immediately! VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ECT: ask him where he took his training, and ask him to show you his certification to practice this treatment modality. When I asked him about his training and certification he dodged the question twice. He did say he has a lot of experience, but it makes me wonder about his character if he "practiced" on so many people without receiving training. If he doesn't do the procedure correctly, could it break bones in your skull requiring invasive surgery? I don't know the answer to that question. I didn't want to mess with my skull, and I hope you will do the research before messing with yours!!! read more

Hello Dr. Fields, Wow! Last Friday was a great day for feeling open and clear in nose and sinuses. I'm feeling the benefits of both ozone and cranial adjustments - fabulous! The treatments with you are so much more than the adjustments - they change my lifestyle for the better. From prior to my first visit to you last April doing the whole probiotic supplement regime you mailed me, to the 5 day juice fast, to the continued anti-inflammatory diet, to using the physical therapy equipment I came home with... door traction, lordotic neck strengthener and Denne roll. Over the months I lost my initial enthusiasm of using them daily (more like once a week), but after this last visit I am inspired once again as I'm feeling such a shift in positive results. When I got to the airport, sounds seemed louder. When I taught the first class in our studio on Sunday, I could hear my voice loudly in my head - it feels like the treatment improved my hearing! I think the videos are really helping sleeping, too - keeping tongue forward lying supine, and even my head slightly tipped back keeps the Eustachian tubes open and the exercises really help strengthen that ability. Adam is so amazing! I have Ménière's disease and suffer from all of the symptoms related to it, including extreme dizziness also known as vertigo. I had a functional cranial release adjustment and I felt instant relief. I admit it was a bit painful but nothing like the pain of living with Ménière's disease. Over the next day or so I also felt relief of some pressure in my inner ear and regained some hearing which was a huge relief. I was suffering from a lower back pain for many years. About a year ago, something triggered my pain to get worse and I ended up with a bulging disc which was pinching on my right nerve not allowing me to walk straight, sit down or sleep without pain.
