He had viewed my CT scans online when I was in the ER, so he knew my case. He examined, then presented the options and his recommendation. And we were on our way. Today he fixed my orbital blowout (yeah, that's what they call it) at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Rosenblum came to see me prior to surgery, and not a lot of surgeons do that. A fabulous personal touch. He was friendly, yet all business and entirely professional. He came in saying, "You look great with your broken face," which was a helpful ice-"breaker"!! He reviewed all my pre-op tests results thoroughly along with my whole "chart," was upbeat, and inspired optimism and great trust in his skills. After surgery, he met and talked with my friend who escorted me to Missouri Baptist Medical Center (friend or family for the driving situation is required), and gave her all the particulars, spending a good piece of time to explain everything. Kudos for that!! All-around, a top-notch, first-class physician and surgeon!

He refused to use the scope to even look at my vocal cords because it was obviously causing me physical distress. Instead he referred me to someone else who has yet to call. I am a teacher and storyteller. I use my voice for my living. I also explained the problem I'd been having with vertigo. He explained what vertigo was (which I already knew) but offered no advice on how to cure it.

As I wanted to be seen to have my ears cleaned, I thought it would be easy. The website was a no go, as the staff would have seen me in a week. So I dropped in or walked in as they now allow. The walk in process ended up taking about 60 minutes. Not terrible, but not exactly as expected. As I will be traveling and not back in town for a while, I wanted to get this done. I will say why I am giving a bad review. I have held back for five years but don't want anyone…read moregoing through all this unnecessarily. My husband was seen by our primary for a sore on his tongue, She wanted him seen immediately (same day) by Dr Xxx an ENT Specialist. He saw Dr. Xxx and Dr said he wasn't really worried about the spot. He only had my husband get a biopsy at my insistence. Results came back and we were told that he wasn't too concerned about it still. That it was'within the margins ' and it was good. That he would see him back in office in a couple weeks. I asked if he was sure about not doing anything. Doc said no he wasn't worried. So next appt , he had to miss forrr Cwork. But got in quickly and dr saw it and it wasn't better but bigger so he gave us a name of a specialist at Barnes Jewish. They did what they could but in few months he passed away from oral cancer that had spread to his lungs and back . But not after having to go through the hell of chemo, radiation, a clinical trial drug therapy , teeth pulled, and a scheduled 4hr surgery that turned into a 15 hour surgery because the few lymph nodes seen prior to surgery had multiplied already all over his mouth, cheek and tongue. These drs did their best. I can not say the same of the ent he was seen by when it started. If he'd of been even a little more aggressive my husband could still be here. Now I lost my husband of 20 years, our 3 children lost a dad and so on. I do not recommend.
