Truly authentic Mexican food!!! That being said needs a little help on the traditional on the rocks margaritas! Food was great as well as the service but our margaritas did fall short! Great environment and service was good. The taco, vegetarian burrito and the humongous wet burrito were great!! I couldn't believe how big my husbands wet burrito was!!

Stoppedninbere from the good reviews on YP. This time my fellow YP's were correct! I had the chile verde which came out in a large portion of shredded pork covered in green sauce. Although there was good flavor, the tomatillo sauce was mild. The rice and beans also tased good and were hot. The rice tasted freshly prepared. My horchata was really good, almost to frothy, creamy like a shake. The chips were excellent being served warm and fresh. The salsa was Ok. I was surprised to see no Hispanics and think it may be to the pricing for lunch. I was even check on twice after the food was delivered Overall great stop!

Beautiful combo Mexican grocery / taqueria - food was delicious. Cool atmosphere with tons of local Mexican families and culture. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive. We had such a nice time. Grocery too - we might cook our own burritos, but next week because the burritos we got for lunch were MASSIVE!! :-) Great business. Will be back.

When I walked into this taco place I felt like I was back in Mexico. The selections are very authentic and good. Prices reflect the portion sizes. The service was amazing, very kind and attentive. The seating area isn't anything fancy but allowed for full visual of what was going on behind the counter which was exciting to watch the preparation of multiple fruit, ice cream and beverages.

The queso with chorizo is absolutely delicious and so is the Caesar's Salad. Very flavorful. Great service as well.

It doesn't get more authentic than this! Birria, molcajete, elote, they have it all! The Birria tacos were stuffed so full I could only finish one! My husband got a taco platter kind of do your own and he said it's some of the most flavorful tacos he's ever had. They have a cute little store/market attached!

The red is freaking hot. The salsa is really good.

Nice taqueria. Best I've found in Akron. The salsa roja is pretty hot. Muy caliente. The food is good and I believe could be excellent. I think the execution was lacking on my visit. The chorizo could be crispier. The tripe was excellent. The pastor needs to be seared a bit. Would not travel for this but would stop in if driving by.

    Wet burrito!

We discovered Amigos a couple years ago, when seating was very limited, but they recently expanded and the decor is more inviting and authentic. We've tried a lot of things on this menu and have never been disappointed. Our food has always been fresh and plentiful, served with a smile. Two things I can ecstatically recommend: their house guacamole and their margaritas. Their hearty and bold guacamole is made fresh to order right at your table and it's become our favorite guacamole. We love their mango margaritas. We have found chunks of mango in ours, and make certain to always get the rims coated with tajin because they use tamarind to get the spice to stick to the rim--so tasty! This is a really enjoyable restaurant we always look forward to visiting!

The food was incredibly authentic - I tried the birria burrito, a menu item I've never come across before. It was phenomenal, the consommé was to die for. I was drinking it like soup; it was perfect. Washed down with a ice cold glass of draft Modelo, I couldn't ask for more. For dessert, a tres leches cake topped with Oreo crumbles. This fell short, as it seems it was prepared days ahead of time - lacked in freshness. Still good though, just not the best. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was like any authentic Mexican restaurant, nothing unexpected. Overall this place definitely satisfied the craving for some Mexican food, and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

The table was given chips and salsa. We added an order of habanero guacamole. The salsa was as hot as one might expect, but not too hot which let the avocado flavor shine. I ordered three street tacos: Chipotle Beef, Al Pastor and Carne Asada. The tacos were inexpensive and small, but packed a lot of flavor. Everything was fresh and hot, so good. I drive do no drinks hit me. The others enjoyed their specialty drinks like passion fruit-mango cocktails and margaritas. Service was great. We'll definitely stop again.

All three were well made with fresh ingredients and made for a perfect Monday night dinner. I'll definitely be back to try more of their specialty cocktails and perhaps a dinner entree.

I ordered a Dos Equis on tap but the waitress said they don't have beer on tap despite there being a whole selection in the menu... I picked a bottled drink and moved on. While looking at the menu I noticed a lot of items had new prices taped over the old price instead of just printing a new menu. Once we placed our food order it came out relatively quick. The food was dropped off and we never saw our waitress again. By the time our food came there were no open tables, it filled up really fast, but we were disappointed that none of us ever got refills on any of our drinks. We were also charged for 2 sodas when only 1 was ordered, but we never saw our waitress to ask for it to be corrected so just paid it. My food was pretty disappointing. The chicken and rice inside the burrito were dry as the Sahara. It sounded good and looked good in the menu but unfortunately it didn't come together at all. Also quite expensive considering it came with no sides like rice and beans.
