Check-in was smooth and they accepted Delta Dental insurance. Everyone was very welcoming from the receptionist, to the dental assistant (Lovely), to the dentists (Dr. Esther and Dr. John), and to the hygienist (Tabitha) who cleaned my teeth. I felt very at home and loved that played Christian music and even had on Christian tv shows on in the rooms. They have very up to date equipment and technology, including mobile x-rays of your teeth that they can do on you in your room instead of having to go to the x-ray room (however they did both for me this visit). Dr. Esther addressed all issues I had with my teeth and reassured me of everything. This was overall a great experience and I look forward to being a long-term patient! The building definitely showed it's age so that wasn't exactly helping out my first impression of the place. I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover so I still kept an open mind. The office itself was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional and friendly. I was immediately greeted by the receptionist with a smile. I didn't wait very long at all to be called to the back for my x-rays. It was a quick and simple process. After that, I was taken to an exam room and only waited about 10 minutes to see Dr. Warrin Donowho. She had excellent bedside manners, was very friendly, and very thorough with her exam. I appreciated her honesty, she didn't try to encourage me to have any unnecessary work done. (Don't even get me started on my last dentist! They tried telling me that I needed an expensive root canal and a pricey deep periodontal cleaning without even doing a detailed exam!) She did a great job of addressing all of my concerns, she really took her time to listen and explain things to me. Who knew that it was possible to be too aggressive with brushing, lol! When everything was said and done, it turned out that I didn't need a root canal or the periodontal deep cleaning, I just needed a much less invasive (and relatively inexpensive) cleaning! Clare was the dental hygienist who did my cleaning. I never thought that I would ever say this but I actually enjoyed having my teeth cleaned! She was a delight to chat with, she definitely has the right personality for the job! I'm so used to the usual, "Open. Close. Bite down." which is pretty much the extent of conversation that I'm used to while getting dental work. I also appreciated that Clare used a numbing gel on my gums prior to doing any work, this was the first time that I didn't experience any pain or discomfort during a cleaning. Overall, I am more than pleased with the service and customer care that I recieved at Lee Dental. The entire staff was very courteous, tentative, and well organized. Dr. Donowho and Clare really made my experience pleasant. I will be referring all of my friends and family here!
