Majors has been my dentist forever and I have no complaints. Besides, he knows if it hurts, he'll hurt, LOL.

Went in to get checked for a cracked tooth after various failed attempts at another Dentist office…read more I had a really great experience at Villa Dental. From the very first phone call, their customer service was amazing friendly, helpful, and efficient. When I arrived for my appointment, everything continued to go smoothly. The staff was kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable right away. I didn't have to wait long at all, which I really appreciated. The dentist took the time to go over everything with me and worked together with me to come up with a plan that made sense. The whole process felt easy and stress-free. Overall, it was such an effortless experience, and I'm really glad I chose this office. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality care and great service.

I also completed my Invisalign treatment here and was very happy with both the process and the results. I highly recommend villa dental!

The major one was that I had 2 impacted teeth which were extracted and Dr. Miner then provided me with the crowns for the implants. Since it was my top front incisors, how it's placed and just its general appearance would affect the way I look. The crowns are perfect. They match the rest of my teeth and look natural. You can never tell I have implants (well now you know). Even my orthodontist and oral surgeon were impressed by the results. Dr. Miner and his staff are very attentive to your needs and are super friendly. I have been to dentists in the past but I ve never been to one where I feel right at home. Everyone in the office is pretty awesome! The views from the patient chair is also pretty neat!

I'm getting censored on google reviews and feel this needs to be public knowledge. Here is my…read morereview of a local Dentist, Miner Dental. Update: I went to see Dr. Miner for 10 years. Everything was great until I decided to go with them for Invisalign. My treatment was $4700, which I paid $2700 up front, with the insurance covering $2000. Insurance pays out over the treatment period, which they told the insurance company it would be 12 months. So far, out of 8 checks, they deposited 4 and didn't credit that to my account. I found out after the office manager, sent messages to me every few months to threaten me with additional withdrawals from my HSA. This forced me to call the insurance company to get them on the phone with Miner Dental to help Miner Dental find the misplaced yet deposited checks. I've had to do this twice thus far; two checks have been missing each time. The last time I did this, I was on the phone with my insurance company for over 2 hours. This is primarily due to threats from the office manager at Miner Dental; she told me that she told the insurance company I was no longer in treatment which would stop payments from the insurance company. The insurance company denied having a record of this conversation. All of this sounds insane, but it's true; I do not know why they would try to get the insurance company to stop payments. When I heard what Niki and Miner Dental were trying to do, I asked them why the f*** they would do this (I was so caught off guard that it just slipped out). To which I got cussed out and threatened by the office manager over the phone. During that call, she told me she did it to force me to pay for it out of pocket. I did cuss at first, but the office manager took it to a new level. I received assurances from my insurance company that they would pay out the remaining balance. My insurance company also helped me understand why Miner Dental thinks I owe them money. After balancing out my account, it turns out I had a procedure in Jan of 2022 that they never notified me that I owed them. Which I find interesting because every time I'm in the office, I always ask if there are any other balances I need to cover. I did call and permitted them to take out the unpaid balance right after hanging up with my insurance company. Well, I finally spoke with Dr. Miner, to which he didn't know of the missing checks. Before that conversation with him, the office manager told me he had already listened to the recorded call, so I didn't bring up her language to see if he did, which he did not. It tells me either he condones her actions or the phones aren't recorded, and it was yet another lie from Niki. He told me he would call me back after digging into my account, but he never did. Due to the situation and because of the harassment, threats, and poor professionalism, my family of 4 will no longer be using this office. I'm unsure if this situation was caused by fraud or sheer incompetence. The insurance company still has 4 payments, so hopefully, this ends here.... The office went downhill after COVID. This is honestly too bad. I hate finding new doctors to trust. Old Review: My entire family goes to Dr. Miner. He is an amazing person, and his staff is fantastic. I cannot recommend him enough.

What can I say? Dr. Wert gets the job done. I've had work done at San Antonio Oral Surgery twice…read morenow, and both times Dr. Wert and his team have taken care of me. Dr. Wert is a pro. Knows exactly what he's doing and gets the job done right. I have never had an issue. His staff is excellent, and there is never a wait for your appointment like some dentists. They are really on the ball. The receptionist gave me some flack for arriving on time for my consultation instead of coming early. I will admit, they had asked me to come early, but I simply couldn't make it. No need for browbeating me over it. As far as the comment about charging $198 for an x-ray, it's true, but you should know your insurance coverage going in. Insurance companies aren't going to cover x-rays at the surgeon when you should have gotten them from your primary dentist beforehand. The $198 is an avoidable cost if you understand your insurance coverage. Dr Wert and his team provide 5 star service. Only giving 4 stars because, one, the dentist chair is worn with old cushioning. Don't need my arse aching while my teeth are being drilled and yanked at, and, two, they never called to follow up after the procedure which is a very common practice.

I get it, no one likes going to the dentist, so an oral surgeon is even more terrifying, right?…read more Not Dr Wert. After another dentist in SA left me with a botched filling, I needed either a root canal or extraction and implant. Since I'm a baby and want as little work as possible, I chose the extraction and implant, since they have a much greater longevity than root canals. I showed up to his office in agony, wanting nothing more than for someone to lop my jaw off. Dr Wert informed me that due to the bad filling, I had infection and he didn't want to cause me more pain by operating on an infected mess (my words, not his). I was sent home with a great supply of pain meds, antibiotics, and valium for my dental fear to take on the procedure date. When I returned for my appointment, I was ushered into a warm procedure room, given a cozy, plush blanket, and they made sure I had music to help me zone out. This was the first dental experience I've had where they truly made sure I was comfortable, with my surroundings and the pain factor. I can honestly say the actual procedure didn't hurt one bit. With each follow up appointment, Dr Wert continued to show great chair side manner, making sure I was pleased with the results and that I wasn't in any pain at all. I can't say it enough: this is by far the best dental experience I've ever had.

I had a consultation with Dr. Holtquist who explained everything in great detail and warned me of any complications that could arise. A few days before my surgery, the office let me know that Dr. Holtquist had a personal matter to attend to and that Dr. Medley would be performing my surgery The day of surgery I walked in nervous and was quickly put at ease with the warmth and kindness of Dr. Medley. It was honestly the easiest and best experience I've had with a surgery. I was sedated for 99% of the procedure and only remember him telling me when they were moving on to my next tooth. About a week later, I started to have some pain in one area and called the office. Abby was extremely helpful in getting me scheduled for a follow up the next day. Dr. Medley explained everything he would do again and packed my socket with some medicated gauze which took all of 3 minutes and quelled my pain within 15 minutes. I cannot rave enough about this office, the helpful staff, or Dr. Medley. If anyone every needs a recommendation, this will be the office I tell them about.
