    Seafood enchiladas
    Maya Q.

This place was great! We were pleasantly surprised. We got food for 5 as takeaway. Website was satisfied! A chicken quesadilla for the four year old, grandpa got pork tacos, grandma got a steak burrito, my husband got birria Ramen, and I got seafood enchiladas. We also got 2 margaritas to go. And a few dips and salsas. The portions were huge especially the Ramen. Everyone liked what they ordered. The guacamole was great too. My seafood enchiladas had a great creamy sauce and the crab and shrimp were well cooked. The margaritas were very strong! The only thing we did not like was the avocado salsa, and the chips tasted a little stale. It was very watery and bland.

    Very good!

Stopped in for lunch while in town from out state. Thx for a great lunch. Frozen margo could been little more frozen but still great

We were on an another side of town when the craving of Mexican came on. We really like Fiesta so we decided to try this location. Greeted with smiles as we came in. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. We are a party of 2 and we're seated immediately. The server was attentive and at our table right away. The chips and salsa were on point. They were even kind enough to bring each of us our own salsa bowl. Thanks for not assuming we like each other enough to share. (kidding) I ended up letting the hubby finish my salsa. Hubby ordered a margarita and it came right away. The menu is huge. I kept looking for something and landed on the seafood enchiladas. Two flour tortillas stuffed with shrimp, crab, pico de Gallo. There was yummy cheese on top and avacado. I will share, that my expectation was a little higher on what the sea food would be. What I mean is that the shrimp and crab pieces were in fact, pieces. Very small pieces that I almost would call tidbits. I could tell that it was a form of sea food blend, but I think I was hoping for a little bit more stratifying innards. Not to say it wasn't good. It came out hot, and I did eat most of it. It came with beans and rice. The hubbys California burrito was way more flavorful. He let me take a bite and I wanted to steal it away from him. Whatever choice of meat he had, it was very good. He filled up on that and we sat and talked for a while. The restaurant is very family friendly. Multiple tvs showing multiple shows at the same time. Again the staff was very kind and quick to help with every table. If we are back over there I would go again and try something different as I am sure it is all good.

Fajitas, seafood, rice, chicken, pork, tacos, refried beans... all the good stuff. Chips and salsa are epic. The service is great. They have updated the tables as well.

Just Go here, I'll tell ya why. The food here is Amazing and the Michiladas will blow your mind. The Birria tacos melt in your mouth, super tender and spicy beef that you will love. I did. Mostly, I ordered the Carnitas plate to go. Each time was as good the previous one. The plates are plenty enough for the biggest appetite. The guacamole they make here is some of the best I have ever shoved in my mouth. I tell people about it all the time. The full bar has just about anything you'd like. The beers are ice cold and there is a big selection to choose from. Fiesta does not disappoint.

The staff is always super friendly. Service is usually fast and attentive. The food is delicious. I wish they had a lunch menu, but they do have a create your own combo. The fajitas are flavorful and you can add pineapple and zucchini. They now have ice cream and desserts!

    Shrimp and mussels

I want to start off by saying I love fiesta - this is generally where we go for Mexican so mixed on how I should review. If I didn't eat this food item, I'd probably keep it at 5 stars because their shrimp Diablo, choripollo, and Al pastor tacos are fantastic. However, last night my husband went in for dinner. Marg was fabulous, chips and salsa great. I ordered one of their new dishes, shrimp and mussels in a Cajun butter sauce. The mussels were sandy. The shrimp must have been bad. They were almost chalky/mushy. I've never had this type of texture to shrimp before. The restaurant did remove the item from the receipt (paid that money directly to the server instead, as I did eat some of it) - would never, ever order these again. Maybe the head on shrimp is what made the texture so weird? Either way. Would never recommend that dish. Presentation was great and the sauce was good, however. Their normal shrimp in this would have been fabulous.

Service was quick! Food and margaritas were outstanding. We ordered the fish tacos (pico on the side) and harvester enchiladas. So good!

Like probably most Americans, I haven't tried a lot of South American cuisine so I didn't know what to expect. I guess I was expecting something like Mexican food. Well, it's definitely a lot different than Mexican food. Peruvian food isn't very spicy and the seasonings are different, yet still tasty. There a big Chinese influence on Peruvian food, too. I got the Lomo Saltado, a popular Peruvian dish with stir-fried beef, onions and tomatoes served with rice and French fries. My husband got the Chaufa al Wok, an oriental Peruvian fried rice with chicken. The fries kind of threw me at first. I wasn't expecting that. The dish was very good and had a nice flavor. My husband loved his dish and thought it was delicious. With both of our dishes it was interesting to see how much of a Chinese influence there is. What my husband absolutely loved the most is their homemade horchata. It tasted different than Mexican horchata so he asked what was in it. Our server said it was made was cacao beans instead of just rice and cinnamon. It had a pale brown color to it, too. I also liked the seasoned corn nuts that came with two different sauces--a sweet one and savory one. We both thought the prices were a little high but not so much that we wouldn't come back. The service was very good. Our server was friendly and helped us decide what to order. She was very knowledgeable about the menu items. At the end of our meal both she and the owner (I think) asked us how we liked everything and if there was anything they could have done to make things more enjoyable. I mentioned that my food came out much earlier than my husband's so I was almost done by the time his came out. The owner apologized for the wait and we really appreciated that. They also serve empanadas, pupusas and tamales. We're going to try these the next time we come back. Someone at the table next to us ordered the pupusas and they looked yummy. We were pleasantly pleased with how tasty the food was despite being a lot different than what we were expecting.

Environment was noisy, with only a few inches between tables. Bacon-wrapped scallops were grilled to perfection, but could have used some seasoning. My wife said her French onion soup was too salty. The hashbrowns were a joke -- unseasoned mashed potatoes in a mold that was browned on top. No hashbrown texture at all. My wife's sirloin steak was quite good. However, my $56 dry-aged 12-oz ribeye was a disappointment. I expected a melt-in-your-mouth experience. What I got was a somewhat dry piece of meat with very little marbling, but with a chunk of fat in the middle. Both steaks were poorly seasoned. Steaks should be prepared with a ample amount of salt and pepper. Adding it after the fact isn't the same.

I'd missed my connection and got bumped by a last minute female runner even though I was first on the standby list. I stepped off the hotel shuttle, checked into my room, dropped off my baggage and walked here for dinner. Needless to say, I walked in the door quite hungry. I sat at the bar for the quickest service. I ordered a local lager, Des Moines Exile's Maria lager ($6.75/5% ABV). To eat, I seldom go wrong with fried catfish. This time I got the fried catfish strips, with tartar sauce, 2 large hush puppies, and a bunch of fries ($16.99). The smooth lager hit the spot and the fried dinner really filled me up. Catfish average, hush puppies had great texture and taste, and fries were hot. The bartender/waitress really wasn't too attentive. Spent most of the time talking to other customers and staff. I ordered another lager from Exile. This one was an award winning Ruthie Gold lager ($7/4.9% ABV). I preferred this lager to the first one. It had a more rounded taste and mouthfeel. The huge meal didn't wow me, but it did feel me up. Thumbs up to the two local lagers I tried. They were good. Come here if you need a large meal and mediocre service.
