The two stage set up was superb allowing everyone to see and hear every note of every performer without sprinting from place to place. Food and drink was plentiful, tasty, reasonably priced and with minimal lines. Non-profits, corporate sponsors and kid activities were friendly and fun. Vendors were a mix of crafts, apparel, and home goods Portalets were conveniently located with no lines. Everything ran like clockwork and it was a joy to be there. It's good for what it is, what with free parking, and only a couple…read moredollars for entrance fee. game tickets is where they get you, to a point that I don't even know why entrance fee is charged. some games as fun, some are lame (and shorter than last year, namely the carousel)...but I guess it's operator-dependent. some games do not accept tickets, thus require additional cash. again, not sure why we need to pay a couple dollars just to get in when there's nothing you can do inside without paying more cash. but it's got a little bit of everything - bungy bounce (extra cash), zoo petting (feeds extra), prize games (extra cash), variety of things taking 1-3 tickets per ride. Tickets are about ... hmmm i don't want to misquote but i can't seem to recall. but i remember you don't get a "discount" for buying more, they're all at the same rate. you just save trips to the ticket counter and time spent on waiting in line (if any). cute for a once a year thing. appreciates that it's there. have to pick the right time to go to avoid lines and crowds.

Currently sitting outside the museum in my car IN SHOCK at what just happened. It is exactly 2:16pm. Museum closes at 3pm. We have our 3 yr old granddaughter asleep in the car and we've been parked outside for 15 minutes giving her a few more minutes nap before going inside - since THE MUSEUM CLOSES AT 3PM. She usually only spends a half hour there (we have a membership). I then see someone (older woman, short blonde/grey hair) walk outside and then walk back in. It looked like she was locking the door!! So I get out of the car and walk up, the door is locked. I knock. No answer. I knock again. No one comes to door but I can hear people inside and I JUST SAW this woman two minutes ago come out to lock the door. So I knock again thinking surely she'll come to the door. Nope. Then I see the sign, "doors lock 45 minutes prior to closing!" My watch says 2:14...it's NOT 45 MINUTES BEFORE YET. Plus she locked the door a minute ago, so she had to have locked it at 2:13. Now, you want to close a couple minutes early? Ok, fine, I get it. But when someone walks up in time - you let them in if it's within posted hours! I look up the museum's phone # and call. The woman answers: "Hi, I'm standing outside the door and it's locked, but we have our granddaughter and I was giving her a few minutes more to sleep. I just saw you come outside. I was sitting in my car right out front. Can I bring her in, she'll only be in for half hour?" "No, I'm sorry, you can't." (WHAT??) "But it's just right this very minute 2:15!" "Yes, that's why the doors are locked" "But you locked them early!" "I'm sorry" You have got to be kidding me!! I've read the bad reviews about this museum before and still, I bought a membership. I knew about their very limited hours (aimed at closing whenever school aged children are out of school) and still I bought a membership. I've been here plenty of times and have seen the number of exhibits that are broken, missing pieces, not working and still I've come back - because their arts and crafts area is worth it. But after today - never again. I would advise against anyone joining this museum just due to the horrible attitude of (some) of their employees. I truly believe there are a few employees who are nice (art table) but I've seen this woman at the register when I've arrived and witnessed her give others a hard time before. She is working in the wrong industry. She needs to be in a non customer-facing position. CME - you should be ashamed. Locking your doors early then telling a customer standing outside at EXACTLY 2:15 (she did not dispute the timing) that they cannot come in. Unbelievable. Oh, we drove 40 minutes to get here. The town of Easton is being done a disservice to have this museum within their city limits, as the association alone gives them a bad name. A change in staff is definitely needed here.

I was thoroughly impressed with how many different beer vendors there were (plus, some snacks vendors too). Plus, it felt exciting to explore the zoo at night, definitely a first. I think the only thing that could be improved for next year are the beer and snack portion sizes. Each attendee received a small plastic cup which would typically be filled with beer a quarter of the way by vendors (after oftentimes waiting in line). I understand it's a zoo, not a bar, but I would have loved a chance to truly enjoy the beer I was sampling. Also, the snack offerings could have been more generous. Don't get me wrong though, I had an amazing time and would definitely consider coming back next year!

You can buy additional pizza slice ticket packages at the event (we bought an additional 5 slice tickets). The ticket idea to "pay" for the slices at the stands is genius as it keeps the lines moving very quickly. We were able to try pizza slices from the following: Quattro Pizza a Vico Florina Pizzeria Pizza by Rocco Peppino's Pizza Little Steve's Pizzeria Daiya's vegan pizza Sally's A Pizza We couldn't pick a favorite as they were all different and excellent in their own right. We loved each slice for different reasons, however I will say our least favorite was the vegan pizza. That slice didn't stand a chance against what I like to call "pizza made from real ingredients." We were very impressed with Pizza a Vico (straight from Italy!) as they were making the pizza dough from scratch on site. I didn't see any other pizza vendor doing this and it paid off as they definitely had the best pizza crust, hands down. I already can't wait to attend this event next year! :)

The seats are really nice, however very high off the ground! I have short legs and getting up onto the seat was more difficult than expected. Also the recliners in the row we were in didnt go up all the way... so our legs were at a weird angle. Also there isnt a whole lot of track lighting on the floor so if you have to get up during the movie, its very dark... so be careful going down the stairs. We will be back! Hopefully our seats will fully recline next time.
