She had a firm yet gentle touch with the shampooing. However it was obvious she was less practiced with Men's hair and the term 'business cut'. She cut it rather short on the sides and even after I asked her to snip some stray long hairs, I found others when I got home. On my wedding day, Stella didn't rush despite having a busy morning. She prepared my mother's hair, my maid of honor's hair, and mine all in a row. It was 150$ total for the 3 of us. My hair was up in a romantic up do and stella even lent me pearl hair pins for my big day. She finished my hair in 1 hour and it stayed up all day to midnight. The look was elegant and complex and it survived the Atlanta humidity as my wedding day dragged on. I went in at 11 a.m. and hair lasted through midnight.

I had a consult with Britney, talked about a plan doing one color instead of highlights. Britney told me she wasn't gonna be available to do it but recommended another lady which i do not remember her name but remember what she looked like. I booked my appointment a week later to get my hair done and walked into the appointment with a completely different lady which was Arihanna. I told her the history of my hair from color, time and all. I came in with dark hair and some lighter brownish in some spots. She proceeds to tell me again recommending doing one color and i agree she told me the bleaching process would truly decide what color we could get out of my hair. Mind you i'm pregnant and i told her i have work the next day and my baby shower was in a couple of days. She does the bleaching and once the first wash started i stayed by the sink the whole time and could not see myself. While being over there she told me after the bleaching she was gonna tone my hair twice and then the color which she told me would be dark brown, proceeds to only tone once and then just puts the color on my hair. This whole time i am not able to see myself or my hair i took pictures between the bleaching process but trusted the process as i am not a hair stylist. Once she washes the color she takes me to the chair to dry it i see my hair and it seems to be uneven and orangish. I let her fully dry my hair and it is already an hour pass closing and i see my hair and it is completely ruined. It was no where near dark brown, in that moment i couldn't be more disappointed as i had work and a big event coming up. With the time and and everything i knew i would have to come back to get it fixed. So i just went to the front and she proceeded to want to take pictures of my hair and tell me how good it turned out. At my consult britney told me it would be around $240 i made sure to put it in my notes so i knew for next appointment. But also i discussed with them that the money from my consult they said would go towards my payment. I assumed if anything changed they would tell me during my appointment, they did not. Not once did the hair stylist tell me anything about the price change so once i got to the front and she tells me $313 is the total they added 4 additional charge that were like $20 each and never told me while getting my hair done. I would have been okay knowing the price changed and more product was used but it was never communicated to me. I knew immediately i deserved a refund not only did she ruin my hair but as well as she wasted my time and money. Once i got home i took picture of my hair and i had dye on the side of my face, forehead and even dye and bleach powder on my ear. I had to take off work and came in first thing in the morning to speak to someone, i was able to talk to the assistant manger. It didn't seem really as if she cared she just listen to my story of what had happened and said it definitely wasn't a dark brown and said she would have someone fix it for me. I had to come back 3 hours later so someone could fix my hair thankfully kim was able to fix my hair and she said that it was not going to be one color but she could get it fixed. Went back to dark as it seemed like the only option to look decent again. I looked normal again i truly was better off keeping my hair the way it was before even coming in, i will never return and would never recommend coming here. I couldn't even get a sorry from the employee who ruined my hair in the first place.which is the the person that was in the station right next to me while i was getting my hair fixed and had multiple opportunity's to apologize. Nobody had ever done a full foil and style on me in under 5 hours. Nobody. Marlo had me foiled, glazed, washed and styled in 2.5 hours flat. And the color was completely unmatched. I've never had a better ashy but vibrant blonde. Did I mention only $135?!? The general vibe of this place is just perfect. Beautiful layout, friendly receptionist and employees, efficient and down to earth. As you can see in the pictures herein, I'm definitely not an all over warm blonde, but rather a mixture of colors with bright white blonde around my hairline & dark roots showing, along with a mixture of other colors throughout. I could tell when she rinsed my hair that something wasn't right as you can clearly see in the picture. She asked me if I was on Google when I merely asked her about semipermanent vs demipermanent on my hair & when I told her yes, she got an attitude & told me I need to trust her. This is what my trust got me. I had a consult with a colorist in Atlanta on Friday who I now have to pay to fix her ugly mess up. You can clearly see the demarcation lines & different colors in my hair. Even the top salon in Atlanta was shaking their head at this mess in my hair. Don't waist your money like I did. She has no experience in doing blonde nor even knows about suggesting a raw lift, no toner to make someone warm blonde. The pictures herein speak for themselves. The fact that you responded and lied through your teeth stating that this visit was for "correcting bright orange low lights" is WILD! And not once during this visit did you adjust my tone mid service during this visit. You in fact absolutely do NOT know how to properly do blonde hair. Notice how you didn't even mention all the demarcation lines you left in my hair. People that read this will see the truth, for the pictures speak for themselves, and they speak volumes. My hair has since been corrected by an expert colorist in Atlanta whom did a raw lift. I no longer have multiple color shades and all the demarcation lines are gone. It's unfortunate that at the very least, you didn't take some type of accountability.

Ellen has done such a great job with my hair cuts as well. She has such a great memory about how I style my hair so unless I am changing my style I do not have to tell her how I want my hair cut. When I do try something new, she always does an awesome job! Lastly, Ellen is so friendly and truly cares about her clients. She has taken the time, on multiple occasions, to teach me how to do a particular hair style- the latest was how to get the loose curl look. She didn't just run through fast instructions and send me on my way; instead she walked me through the process step-by-step while actually showing me how to do it. She combed and brushed it making sure there were no tangles, and then she even offered to shampoo and condition it, and then blow dry it afterwards. She then straightened it like I asked.
