Esther Hair Salon is a convenient location for anyones haircut! Stopped by for a trip and made a quick visit with my stylist Summer as I needed a haircut. Been going to Summer before I moved states and now she has a new business up and running. New space/new equipment makes the shop feel very comfortable and modern. I believe only 2 stylists at this location. Recommend getting an appointment but walk-ins are encouraged. Parking is big/ample parking. $35 for a mens haircut. read more

First time here, it is very hard to find a good Asian hair salon in the Suwanee area. Summer did a great job giving me a trim she listened & did exactly what I asked most places like to do their own thing. She had very good customer service skills & talked a lot, was very friendly. Today I came to this salon because I didnt have time to set up an appointment ag my usual. I had Esther do my hair. Do know that I hadnt had a hair cut in about 2 years and my hair is difficult to cut and care for as it is what some people call puerto Rican hair, and so its difficult to find someone to know how to style it. Well I surrendered my hait to Esther and I was fascinated! She did a super job, way better than my usual. I am switching over to this salon and definitely recommend Esther to everyone who reads this. Place opened up near my house. Small place, very nice on the inside and friendly staff. Nothing like great clips or those franchises. They offered me a donut from the place next door and some tea while I waited. Esther cut my hair and recommended that I should try a different haircut due to the way my hair grows out, so I tried something new. After the cut, she washed and styled my hair and I loved it. I recently went here for a haircut. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait quite a while because Esther was running behind. She was nice though and apologized for the wait. The overall experience was average - my haircut was fine - she seemed knowledgeable but definitely wasn't the most skilled stylist I've seen. She was helpful in suggesting tips for hair care. I probably would have rated the place 3.5 stars except that she overcharged me. A friend went to see her several times and was charged $30 for a haircut. But when I went to the front to pay, the guy said it was $40. I told him that they charged my friend $30 for cuts and he proceeded to tell me that $30 is what they would charge a child and that $40 is for women with long hair. I told him that my friend's hair was as long as if not longer than mine but he said that i was wrong and that the fee was always $40. Esther was within earshot but didn't speak up. I am not the type to argue so I paid and gave tip too. But my friend confirmed without a doubt that the haircut should have been $30 and that they took advantage of me (she knew someone else who had gone there once and was charged $30 too). Do you care not only style but also the health of your hair, and scalp? Then, you should go to Esther Hair. It is the best hair place for you. I am the most picky one when it comes to hair salon, and time and time after Esther proved their quality works. I drive 30 miles for her! When you go to other places, right after the cut, or perm, you seem to satisfied with a new look at the salon. However, the next day, or two washing your hair, you find your new look is not as good as what you saw at the salon - cut does not go well with the direction of your hair growing, perm does not quite go well with your hair, or it requires an excessive amount styling at home. With Esther Hair, I have never been more satisfied even the next day, and on. Esther knows how to style hair; she always says that everyone has a different texture and their hair grows in a different direction, so she has to READ each one's hair, and styling it. Oh, she also provides how to take care of your scalp. LOVE THE PLACE!! read more
