    My family and I have been banking at Midland Federal for years. They offer free checking, with no…read morestrings attached, and the employees know their customers by name; a very friendly, homey atmosphere. They're not "cold" or impersonal - like what you'll get at those big, nation-wide banks. I have NO idea to what reviewer, Heather P, was referring, but providing false information is not helpful. You absolutely do NOT need to have a Debit/ATM card to withdraw money in-office. All you have to do is write a check. If you don't have one on you, they can provide one to you - I've done it a million times. It couldn't be easier. There's no doubt that my family and I will continue patronizing Midland Federal for years to come.

    This bank has been going downhill for awhile - I have been banking there with multiple accounts…read moresince 1983 if not before- unfortunately I stayed there for nostalgia reasons as I grew up in that neighborhood. I just found out the bank was sold two years ago- had no idea that this occurred. Money has been being taken out of various savings accounts and being sent to ADT on a monthly basis- we do not have an account with ADT. It was simply a savings account so we didn't regularly check it. This also happened to another savings account at midland. We informed the bank and they refunded a partial amount. We will be taking this to the States Attorney's office for further investigation. If you have a savings account ( or any kind of account) make sure to go through it monthly
