I looked at the menu and found the prices reasonable. I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary from the coffee. I ordered their blueberry lavender latte with oatmilk and this was sooo good!!! the blueberry lavender flavor was subtle, and the coffee itself good and strong. It's spacious, with various tables throughout the cafe. If I'm ever in the Hyde Park area, I'd definitely walk in again for a good cup of coffee.

Capital One Café…read more Bring a sweater... and your mom with all her financial questions. Let the employees do the heavy lifting and repeat themselves 14 times with a smile instead of you having to. Honestly, it may even keep you in the will. Pro tip: the shelf items are not discounted, but made-to-order drinks are 50% off for cardholders. My mom ordered 2 coffees, a latte, and a pastry to share (some pastries are huge) for the three of us and it was only $10.50. In this economy? Practically a public service. I could sit there all day working or just hanging out. Celebration, Florida desperately needs one because Starbucks is looking a very weak after this experience. They serve Verve Coffee from California -- a roaster that actually knows its way around coffee beans. Smooth, strong, and doesn't taste like it's been sitting on a burner since 7 a.m.

Can't say they're the worst but it's an hour plus wait to notarize a one page document…read more According to my pst experience, notary is done in less than a minute: you provide a government issued photo ID, such as driver's license and sign in front of her or him. Then s/he signs and also puts her and his seal, to certify to have witnesses me or us signing. Here, however, works differently ... in terms of time. After walked in, I didn't see a greeter or front desk to direct the traffic. But half the cubical are filled with people. So I walked toward one, and asked if they offer notary service. Mind you, not every Chase has notary service. The staff said "yes we've two notary here, just take a seat. We'll be right with you." 38 minutes later, the same man said, he's one but he has someone to see. Other notary who's counting the shipments will be free after 20 minutes "You can wait or make an appointment." Isn't this the thing he should have told us 38 minutes earlier??? And making an appointment to notarize a document seems excessive. An hour into waiting, the same man came, asking us to see the one page document. He spent a few moments to finish reading the page, then said, "if she isn't still available, then I'll do it. Just give me a moment." He then walked off. Given the few moments he has spent with us, two or three more notary could have been done. Yet, we're still waiting, at 1:28 mark. Finally, the man came for us, after 1:39. He talks a lot and asks us where should he put his stamp ... as we're leaving, he says "... sorry about the wait. Next time make an appointment." Is this Jamie Dimon's new directive or strategy?

I would get a new card in the mail by 2/18, and until then my compromised card would still work. Here we are on 2/18 and I've still not received my card. So I did the dutiful thing and called the bank. According to them, I have an OLD ADDRESS on file. How can this be? I changed my address IN PERSON at the local branch when my last card expired 8 months ago and I'd not received the replacement. I know that it was changed because not only did I receive the NEW card then, but the POS Verification for Zip code now works with the proper one. After explaining this to the girl on the phone she had no answer. She will send me a new card, shipped via Fed Ex to the Proper Address. It should be here by Friday morning and someone will have to sign for it. I'm OK with that. I just don't get how their systems aren't communicating with each other. The address was changed, I did it in person. I know that I've received a replacement card at my current address before... so... the issue is on their end. They need to work harder at making things seamless for their customers. I don't like having to wait now for my card to come in.

Please reconsider banking here. I am a fairly new customer and have had terrible experiences…read morebanking with GTE. 1. Employees email you and never respond 2. GTE locks your card for every online purchase (over exaggerated, but it feels like it), and they did not notify me of potential fraud. They just shut down your card and automatically decline all transactions. It would be best to offer customers the option to approve or reject a transaction rather than requiring a call. Lord forbid if it is after hours. 3. The employees are untrained, seem as if they just graduated high school, lack empathy, and are outsourced overseas. One person stated another bank's name, lol. Oh, and a "supervisor" I spoke to sounded like he just woke up. Terrible impression. 4. There is no option to receive transaction notifications only for deposits. 5. GTE's website seems as if it were built in 1998. I recommend that people file complaints with the State Attorney's General Office and NCUA. This is how you make change and get a resolution: complain to the regulatory and licensing companies.

I love Penny Arcade!!…read more One thing that I do love about TD is they live up to being the most convenient bank. The hours of operation and the days they are open trump every other bank out there. This location is much larger and much newer than the branch a few miles away on Kennedy. Their staff has also always been friendly, helpful and extremely attentive. This particular location sports ample parking, is very well lit, and has easy access from Kennedy. The staff here even keeps a TD green bowl of water should you need to use the ATM and have your furry friend along for the ride. I must admit it is quite miserly of me that I keep a savings account at TD Bank just for the coin counting privilege. I use cash for most of my day to day transactions, which amounts to change consoles, cups, and a piggy bank needing frequent cleaning out. It doesn't hurt that you get a prize if you guess the amount of change you've saved. I have a lovely box of TD mints, a TD logo coin bank, volumes of pocket-sized tissue, and more recently an awesome TD bank yo-yo.
