The location is also a big plus, making it a convenient place to stay whether you're in town for business or leisure. Overall, a reliable and comfortable hotel that I'd continue to come back to.

He was extremely unhelpful, and the way he acted when the phone rang was absolutely absurd. When I showed him our reservation, all he said was, "Oh yeah, that's not here." He never bothered to explain that there was another Courtyard Marriott just down the street with almost the exact same name, minus "Clovis." Thankfully, we ended up at the correct location because the staff there was much nicer, more welcoming, and far more accommodating.

As patient and respectful as I was to her, she was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. The security here still look like they're in high school and one security guard that was sitting indoors at the entrance was vaping while working. Also, One of the bar attendants was drinking while working. I would not recommend this venue for any event, you're better off saving some money and going to Woodward park instead or holding your event elsewhere.

We had to call the front desk just to get fresh towels and toilet paper. For the price, the hotel simply isn't worth it. The rooms feel like they're stuck in the 1990s, with old carpet, outdated furniture, and aging appliances. Several lamps didn't work, and both the sink and toilet were damaged. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I expected much better considering the price.

Oh, and for those like bidet on the toilet, yet it had one (not for me). The three negatives were no CO2 detector, several trains at night in Fresno but horns don't sound in the middle of the night. The other surprise/shocker was no cable TV...only local channels but plenty of those. To be honest, I don't take trips to watch TV unless there are football games that night and many of those are on OTA channels.

Unlike our forest campsite, we had full hookups, internet and cell worked great at the park. My husband was concerned about the neighborhood but we had no problems. The manager was gracious and greeted us and wished us farewell. The pool was lovely and shaded much of the day which was great in the 109 temps. The showers and baths were very nice and commented on by all in the group. It was a bit of a drive into Sequoia park, but it's still very doable. About 2 hours to the main attractions. We had dinner at the Sequoia Brewing Company which we'd recommend- see review. While this wasn't our first choice, it was very nice and still allowed us to get into the park.

Over the year we had absolutely no issues with our personal belongings or management. They took care of the lawn, bushes and flowers very well. There is an in ground pool which I practically lived at in the summer! The shower house and laundry room were always clean. The long term neighbors were very friendly. Our room cooled down fast, our room was very quiet, and clean, it was comfortable, we slept very good. The staff was very friendly.
