My husband and I stayed here after a very long hot drive (our air-conditioner went out) we asked for a quiet, cool room because we were tired after our long, hot drive. Our room cooled down fast, our room was very quiet, and clean, it was comfortable, we slept very good. The staff was very friendly. I wasn't sure about how secure the parking lot was because it was down stairs from the front desk but we had no problems and parking lot was well lit. Good place very welcoming. read more

What a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and modern. The lobby was welcoming with breakfast in the morning and pretty good coffee. Covered parking kept our car cool in 107 degree temperatures. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at and we travel a lot. read more

This was my first stay at a La Quinta hotel--I wanted to compare the amenities with other similarly priced hotels. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in the same town the previous night. I was disappointed with the size of the La Quinta room--it felt very cramped for two people. I requested a room on the quiet side, and the clerk pointed to the quiet side. When we got to the room, it was on the "noisy" side. There was an annoying buzz in the room that we could not immediately identify. I requested a room change, and the clerk pressured me to tell her the source of the noise, but I said it wasn't up to me to identify it. I pointed out that we were on the noisy side, and she said there were no rooms available on the quiet side, yet she never explained this when I checked in. It ended up being quiet anyway. Although there were a lot of selections at breakfast, we were disappointed with the substandard sausage and the inedible hash browns. We couldn't even bite into the hash browns because of the way they had been cooked. We had been spoiled with the excellent sausage at the Holiday Inn. This experience convinced me to be a loyal Holiday Inn customer. read more

At the airport we called and talked with Jason a manager we can't check in on time because the flight cancel and check in a day after when delta rebook us. Super.com sent him an email and wait for he approved rebook 2 nights but he emailed them mark as NO SHOW and not refund not let us check in when we arrived. F""" you and your family JASON when you don't understand how the customer deal with flight delay or cancelled. We checked into this hotel and originally got placed on the first floor...it was a bit too noisy with the other dogs/families around us (we have a dog too so not knocking the dogs) but the folks upstairs from us were also a bit loud. Donna was SO GREAT on getting us moved to a room on the 3rd floor which was MUCH better and quieter for us. I get it was Thanksgiving weekend and there were a ton of people in the hotel but happy they were able to accommodate our request. Hotel is in a quiet pocket of Clovis, no street noise...parking lot is a little funky but very well lit with electric vehicle parking. Also, Donna was SO GREAT about getting me some half and half...I think the coffee bar/breakfast had just finished but she was so kind to grab me some and a granola bar to hold me over until I ate my weight in turkey later that day. This hotel is lucky to have a great staff person like her to still provide such great service even during the busy weekend. Will stay here again as I go to Fresno often to visit my family when I come in from Seattle. read more

We visited twice in May, and this hotel is fantastic! Very pleased with the level of service, room and their amenities. One of the stays was extended, and despite what others have written, if you'd like your room cleaned, you simply need to let them know & they are eager to do so. I am posting a pic of the exterior so upon arriving, you'll note the parking is below the hotel. You can either enter the lobby via the stairs or the elevator that is adjacent & closest to the street. The other elevator further back, and is for once you've checked in & use your room key. I'm several months behind on this review since the pandemic happened, but I kept this place bookmarked to be sure to get my review posted when my life got more manageable. I'm an old fashion girl who likes to make reservations by phone. That way I feel more assured that there aren't any glitches compared to being online. Unfortunately, a minor glitch still happened. I reserved a two night stay because my BF and I were going to a baby shower for my nephew and his wife in Clovis, CA. I was told by the desk clerk that I would get a confirmation e-mail. I waited patiently as several days passed without any notification. Finally I had to call to make sure my reservations were still a go. Come to find out the previous clerk I spoke with had recorded my e-mail incorrectly! But at least I still had my room! We had a long drive ahead of us, but finally arrived at our destination. I was a little uncomfortable that the hotel parking area, although covered, was still open for anyone to wander through. Not sure if they had surveillance or not. We had to take a lengthy walk with our luggage up a flight of stairs to the main entrance. The lobby and adjoining dining room is nice and spacious. We found ourselves behind three other customers. There was only one desk clerk at the time and each guest seemed to take a significantly long time to check in. It didn't take long before there was a long line of future guests waiting behind us! I felt bad for the desk girl, but she stayed pleasant and patient with each person in line. Our choice for this hotel turned out to be very satisfactory. Staff members were friendly, courteous and professional. Our room was nice and clean with all the amenities. A large flat screen TV, cable, comfortable king size bed, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, desk with free Wi Fi hook up, along with the usual standard guest extras that you would expect at a quality hotel. There is also complimentary serve yourself breakfast in the lobby which was an appreciated extra touch. All in all, our stay was completely accommodating. We stayed at this hotel as we were visiting for a Band competition. The hotel was about 20 minutes away from both venues so it made it super convenient. Check in was very easy and the staff friendly. We got a 1st floor room. Our room was very clean and very spacious. There were two tv's in our room the first tv in the room only played 1 channel. The other tv in the "living" area worked good. Lots of dining and entertainment options around. It was pretty quiet and definitely safe. Parking was good, nice covered lot and convenient. Morning breakfast was good. Do it yourself waffles and cereal and biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage and bagels and toast. The only other draw back was we were there for three days and the room was not cleaned. Even though we put the tag on the door for our room to be cleaned. I would still recommend this hotel to others. read more

The hotel and room were very modern and clean. Staff was kind at check in, Breakfast was a good basic breakfast. It was nice to not have to go out to eat elsewhere. I was a bit disappointed that my TV didn't work, it said "no signal. When I called the desk to let them know, no one answered the phone. I was woken up in the night by someone above me rolling the metal luggage cart on the non carpeted floor into their room. Followed with a lot of banging and stomping that lasted about 45 minutes. Then i couldn't go back to sleep for about 4 hours. Annoying, but what can you do? I wasn't aware that they allowed dogs and had no encounters with any. Overall, I liked this Inn, I would stay here again. I would just suggest that staff advise people to not push their metal luggage cart into the bedrooms after 10pm due to the loudness. read more

Stayed here a few times. Newly built, everything is clean and modern. Breakfast is good, hot cereal, bagels, biscuits n gravy so not bad, I appreciate they still have it available. 2 things drive me nuts tho. One, every room I've stayed in has a fan, kinda wind sound coming from the vent, it's annoying. Second, and I've mentioned both each time, the shower curtains were mounted too high, so it barely touches the tub so water gets on the floor, if you care to make a water seal with the curtain then it doesn't happen as much, but honestly, I don't like touching it, it never gets cleaned so it's kinda gross. If they don't make that simple fix water will eventually get under the flooring and they'll have mold and not know it. read more

When my husband and I stayed at this location on 2/10-2/11 with our 2 dogs, both my husband and dogs were attacked by another dog staying at the hotel inside of an elevator. After the attack, the dog owner stated her dog is "dog-aggressive" and she can't handle him. This situation was exacerbated by the fact that only elevators were available for use (the front stairs were under construction and the back stairs had no re entry, which caused this woman to HAVE to use the elevator to get back to her room with her aggressive dog. Not to mention, it was my understanding that all dogs staying at the hotel were not aggressive in any way, as we had to sign a form stating that when we checked in. Thankfully, my husband walked away from the attack with a sore knee and cuts on his hand, but both of my dogs required emergency veterinary care including, sedation, stitches, and medications. So far, this has amounted to about $2000 in veterinary bills. After this happened, management refused to remove the dog from the property that evening and we were afraid to come back. However, when we got done at the emergency veterinary hospital, it was near midnight, and surrounding pet friendly hotels had very limited availability due to an event happening that weekend. These circumstances forced us to stay the few hours in this hotel until we left early the next morning. None of us slept comfortably as we were all terrified and uncomfortable with the whole situation. We later realized, because we saw our own dogs' blood on their door handle, that the aggressive dog was staying RIGHT ACROSS FROM US. No attempt was made to move either us or the aggressive dog so this wouldn't happen again. Additionally, around 1am, we were notified by security of repeated car break-ins and thefts at this hotel for over a week and we had to get all of our property and bring it up to the room with us. Ultimately, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel in my life and would never visit this location again, nor recommend it to others. read more

The rooms are new and no prob there even though our feet became dirty when taking off our shoes. The staff were nice and courteous. Breakfast was not so great with a few not so sanitary issues for me. The eggs were suspect and I believe microwaved. The main reason for the low rating are for two reasons; 1) Lots of sketchy people hanging out in their parking structure and night drinking and smoking. Not a safe feeling. No security what so ever. 2) We could hear the people having sexual relations in the next room from 11PM-6AM........I'm not sure if it was the same couple or numerous people but it was loud with lots of slamming noises. Makes me think a prostitute was in that room. Called the front desk in the middle of the night but nothing happened. read more

I was there 30 mins before 3 PM, and I was told I need to pay 30$ for checking in early. Then I saw lots of customers loitering around the lobby due to the same reason. At 3 PM, the entire lobby was so crowded that it resembled Las Vegas resort which is strange considering its Covid time. She had recommendations on food and restaurants and was extremely polite and pleasant. When I got to my room, everything was new, very clean and the bed was sooo comfy. This a great place to stay. Brand new hotel with lovely rooms. However, parking is underneath the whole hotel, which means either stairs (hard to find) or elevator. One elevator is marked for the reception desk on the 1st floor. The other is the one that everyone else uses, on all three floors. Which leads to a very slow elevator. Secondly, it's supposed to be "pet friendly." They charge $20 per night, per pet. Then they provide one tiny spot for dogs (after using the slow elevator or back stairs that don't allow re-entry) that has no grass, just ground cover. Pretty much a joke of an area. At a hotel I only care about 2 things: clean & quiet. This place fell short on both. Clean means covid safe, so DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT COVID PROTOCOL. This hotel claims to follow covid safety procedures but from the words of the gentleman at the front desk "will not enforce it". I've been staying here for work in the area because they advertise covid safety, but they still allow parties to occur within. Last night there were 30 people in the meeting room for a party, some masked, some not, shoulder to shoulder. This puts me in jeopardy, it puts my ability to go to work in jeopardy, it puts my immediate family in jeopardy. If you don't want that, DON'T STAY HERE. Not worth it. Gentlemen at the front desk was totally clueless about how to handle a conversation on the topic, and the noise from the party itself was enough to not stay here. Pretty disappointed read more

The building looks quite new and the staff is very friendly but my stay was more pleasant to say the least because I wasn't super comfortable but because of a noise coming from the walls. Sounded like wind squeezing underneath my door but that wasn't the issue when I went to inspect.... the sound drove me crazy. So I called the front desk they told me to unplug the fridge I did and sound went away under a minute. Now I can finally sleep in comfortable peace thanks la Quinta read more

We've stayed here in the past with no complaints but our recent stay was really disappointing. The carpet had nasty stains, one of the shower towels was folded up wet (which makes me wonder if it was even a clean towel), there was a drop of dry blood on the bathroom vanity and an outlet was missing with a cord just hanging out exposed. We complained to the front desk and they apologized but that was it. They really didn't seem to care. Needless to say, we won't be staying here again when in the area. read more

Probably the only good experience with staff my short time there. I live in Fresno but stayed for a few nights while my home was being remodeled and while I was there the breakfast was alright kinda sketch, room was alright, nothing exceptional. 2 stars originally due to the overall cleanliness of the facility. It's the type of place even being so new that you might not wanna use the pillow they provide. Parking garage is very sketch at night. Management just seems checked out like they really don't care about the hotel. read more

During my stay, They served hot breakfast to go. With all the covid going on, it's nice to have some normalcy. All you have to do is call ahead let them know your choices, and they will have it wrapped and ready. It's a new location, clean, pleasant, open parking garage and comfortable beds.
