Came here while visiting and got the around the world Gin Flight. Loved the Roku gin the best! Was a fun experience for a gin lover and we found out the main bartender was out of town at a bartending competition. Everyone was really nice and it was a very cool chill vibes. The kiss her kiss her was my favorite cocktail too, sweet and my friend who dislikes gin enjoyed it.

We came for a small get together of women who enjoy gin drinks. For our one friend who doesn't drink, they made her a specific cocktail to her taste. There were plenty of gin drinks to choose from, but not many food options, so I wouldn't plan on eating here. The service was incredibly nice and thoughtful. The seating was tight since they only have a couple tables and a bar.

Gin lovers - this is the place for you! Every type of gin you could think of. Cocktails are beautifully crafted. Bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. Very small and intimate, perfect for a date. My favorites were the Singapore Sling and the Ringo.

Immense respect and praise for 50 50 Gin Club--tucked away next door to Homemakers on 13th and Walnut in Over-the-Rhine. What sets this place apart is the warmth, knowledge, and genuine hospitality from the entire staff.. From the moment you walk in, it's personal. Having lived in 23 major U.S. cities, I can say Cincinnati's bar scene is a class act--and 50 50 is a shining example. Book a reservation. Treat yourself. You'll thank me later...

Vibes: intimate, casual, low key; mixed table and bar seating Tasting notes: Subtropical: a G&T served in a large wine glass; cucumber-forward, very refreshing and fizzy, lots of ice Strawberry Coast: a G&T served in a large glass; sweet, fruity and light House Alaska: a stiff, slightly nutty gin cocktail served in a sherry glass-type vessel, very lemon-y to the nose Other thoughts: - quick, attentive service - pretty loud on a Saturday night - would make a reservation especially if party greater than 2 - some light snacks available, enjoyed the olives, which was shareable for two - loved the menu, had a hard time deciding whether to get a gin flight or try a non-gin drink

Loooove this place. Amazing selection. Never too crowded. This is a hidden gem. We swapped the cucumber for orange juice in the Radio Maid and it's delicious. Thank me later.

WOW! This place is so cool! I was in Covington for a wedding and the entire wedding party decided…read moreto stop by for a few drinks. Despite having such a large group, drinks were out fast and there was plenty of seating. 2 things stick out here: Decor and the Drinks. Both were impeccably done. The nature meets wood and brick aesthetic is so purposefully laid out and when the eye cruises across the landscape it's so satisfying!! We had a LOT of drinks, but the jade river, el toro rojo, and pacific muse were our favorites. The drinks are priced pretty well ($12-$14) and the service was very prompt, always cleaning up empty glasses and clearing space for more people to sit. I for SURE recommend this place as a spot to come and throw a couple rounds back. We stayed for hours and drank and talked our hearts out! Thank you for such a wonderful night. 5 stars.

They offer delicious seasonal drinks, and every drink & shot I've tried has been amazing! My absolute favorite thing I've had here (and one of the best drinks I've ever had period) is their S'mores Espresso Martini! It's literally perfection; aesthetically it's fun but still well composed as any espresso martini should be; it's has the right balance of sweet & coffee, & all of the flavors really make it taste like you're drinking an espresso flavored s'more! If you see this on the menu, it is a must try!

I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)
