Wow! This place is not what I was expecting and I really loved it. I went for an event this past weekend with a few of my friends. The vibes are so cool and fun. It felt like a speakeasy vibe with great mood lighting and decor. The bar itself was super cool, it had a ton of seating and fun bar stools to sit on. They had a pool table in the middle of the main room, which added a lot to the vibe. Unfortunately there were way too many people in there to play. It was pretty crowded but it they did have a backroom with another bar that helped with the overflow. I didn't get anything to drink but I tried a few of my friends and they were very good. The prices weren't too bad either especially for the quality of cocktails that they have. I will definitely be back for a chill night out with my friends! read more

After having dinner at SOB my girls and I decided to swing by the Roosevelt Room for a cocktail. I had never been there before so I want quite sure what to expect. The crowd inside was pretty diverse and a nice mix of music was played. We attempted to walk to the backroom but it was way too crowded that night so I'll have to check it out another time m The bar staff took our order pretty quickly. I tried a Speak Softly and it was pretty delicious. It was pretty packed that evening and we felt sort of in the way of the fiercely competitive pool game going on in the middle of the room. We had a decent party size and not a lot of space for us to gather together, so after finishing the first round we headed out. One of my absolute favorite happy hour spots! The bartenders are knowledgeable in their craft and can pretty much make anything you ask them. Just very nice people all around. The vibes are super cool, and probably one of the best Priced happy hours in the city! And a perfect spot to grab dinner afterwards! We went on a Saturday night after dinner. The bar was nice and big. The room accommodated the crowd that came in while we're there with plenty of choices to sit or stand. We sat the bar. It was $10 signature cocktails. We got the big stick and one other signature cocktail that I can't remember the name of but had cherries and cherry juice in it. Our drinks were okay but glad I didn't spend more on them. The waitress was friendly. The bar was loud. Not what I was expecting with the whole speakeasy type decor. Not bad just not what we were looking for in our after dinner drinks. We experienced it. Probably would go down to whiskey yard for drinks if we could get in over Roosevelt room. read more

I really enjoyed this place. It's not super roomy but a nice set up for the amount of space available. It has a nice, old school, ritzy decor. There is a pool table available as well. I felt welcomed and held nice conversations with at least 2 bartenders, both very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried a few of their signature cocktails. My favorite was the old fashioned. I got the big ice cube, no stick; very cute. I'm sure I'll make a return visit. read more

Had a work group at The Roosevelt Room recently for an afternoon happy hour. Many thanks for opening the doors a few minutes before your normal start time of 4 pm to accommodate us. I love the feel of this place. It is a great place to stop for a drink before or after dinner. I had a mixed drink called the Naturalist to start that I thought was fine but not memorable. I decided to switch to wine and unfortunately they were temporarily out of the Rickshaw Cabernet. I settled on the Silk and Spice red blend that was quite good. This place is solid. It's classy with upscale decor and polite bartenders who make fussy drinks (love the old fashioned!). They have a pool table and enough TVs to keep an eye on the most important games, but not enough to disturb the ambiance. This feels like a place you'd find in OTR with the comfort (and parking!) of the suburbs. It does get pretty loud on the weekends -- and gets more dimly lit *as* it gets louder. They don't offer food, but they have menus for all the places at Liberty, so you can easily place a to-go order and bring it over (I'd recommend checking out Cooper's Hawk, which is right next door). All in all, this is a great place that is highly recommend! read more

Drink prices were $12-14 which is pretty standard. They have a back room with the dj and another bar. This space can be rented for private parties. Overall, solid bar with experienced bar tenders. I was here on a Friday night and it was clean and lively, lots of people and it was LOUD, this isn't a bad thing unless you are like me and almost half deaf. Like everything in Liberty Center the drinks are weak and way overpriced . I finally did the math and figured out for less than I was being charged for two drinks plus tip I could buy a 750 ml bottle that would last me over a month. The decor of this place is real cool. The bartenders were awesome and totally helped me pick out what drink to order. They are known for their old-fashions (best in town the bartender told me). I came here with a large group for a night out. I wasn't sure what to expect amongst all the chains at Liberty Town Center. The Roosevelt Room ended up being a great spot for us. The night we went, the front room was more of a bar/lounge area and then back room had a dj playing fun music to dance to. Completely different vibes in each room, but we enjoyed both. The music was really good in the back room and I had a great time dancing! The cocktail selection is great here. I had "The Historian", which had a mixture of spirits and champagne. It was refreshing and packed a punch! We had a really great time at this spot. The plan had been to move on but we were having so much fun that we decided to stick around and I'm glad we did! read more

My friends invited me to meet them here for a drink. When you first get here, the view from outside reminds you of a bar from downtown in Walnut St. Once you walk in, the place is dark and looks large, the main bar is located on the right side of the room, and has plenty of space for everyone. If you head straight back through a small hallway, you'll pass the bathrooms and then a second smaller bar area. During my visit there was a DJ playing some 2000's music and a few drunk people trying to dance, it was hilarious. The smaller bar in the back has no beer taps, so all you can choose from are mix drinks or bottled/canned beers, which made it expensive. If you're trying to talk to people, this is not the best place since the music is loud. My experience here was limited to only a few beers, wasn't too impressed, the place seemed kind of empty for a Friday night, but I guess there's too many other bars to chose from at the Liberty Center where you can have better prices. read more

So my first time here I arrived after about 20 minutes of opening. The Bartender was very friendly and informative. They have a small but ok Draft menu and nice cocktail menu. I like both and decided to do a chocolate peanut butter porter draft. It's a nice chill atmosphere and definitely will be back for some cocktails and the DJ on weekends. They don't have a kitchen but several of the local restaurants in Liberty will deliver which is good to know. I like the vibe and looking forward to my next visit. My rating is really very heavily influenced by that. My friends and I had to lean in so close we were practically making out and then yell at the top of our lungs for us to hear each other. I found myself wishing I had worn my electronic shooting ear protection. We had a couple drinks and then went across the street to Agave & Rye so we wouldn't get permanent hearing loss.
