    Speak Softly

After having dinner at SOB my girls and I decided to swing by the Roosevelt Room for a cocktail. I had never been there before so I want quite sure what to expect. The crowd inside was pretty diverse and a nice mix of music was played. We attempted to walk to the backroom but it was way too crowded that night so I'll have to check it out another time m The bar staff took our order pretty quickly. I tried a Speak Softly and it was pretty delicious. It was pretty packed that evening and we felt sort of in the way of the fiercely competitive pool game going on in the middle of the room. We had a decent party size and not a lot of space for us to gather together, so after finishing the first round we headed out. I would definitely like to check it out on another night to try more of the craft cocktails.

One additional note, if you use your credit card they will charge you the 3.5% card fee.... They add that fee to your total bill and then run the tax on drinks plus the card fee.

The bartender Contessa made a makeshift trashcan for me!! Best drink I've ever had!!

Quick service! The bartender Contessa made a makeshift trashcan for me super quick and the presentation omg!!

I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea, not sure what I got though.

It was clean and pleasant and full of men and women who appeared to be looking to hook up. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and it didn't even taste like a drink that I've ever had in my life...and actually that's a long list of drinks. The bartender needs classes. It wasn't a bad place to take a date and have a conversation and they do have a pool table. If you need a place a little more comfortable to talk just walk out the door and your in the Liberty Center Mall.

"The Big Stick" contains an actual stick...it's not just a clever name

Great happy hour and creative cocktail menu. We played pool and our bartender was a real vibe! Several locations in Ohio.

The food and drinks were top tier. We came for steaks and had no complaints whatsoever. I'm from out of town and would come back to this place in a heart beat. The ambiance was energetic but at the same time very chill. It just had good vibes written everywhere. I highly recommend. I hope you get the same server I got. Cheers.

Our server Wesley was a gem. Very knowledgeable and funny. What I loved most was the attention to detail. And we never felt rushed. The manager stopped by the table to tell us the story behind the knives we'd chosen. He was personable and made you feel glad to be visiting the restaurant. The whole experience was elevated because of the exceptional staff. My son ordered the porterhouse, cooked to perfection. Our table also had the wagyu burger, chicken pasta and lamb chops. I could've eaten sides alone as my meal, they were generous portions and delicious. Dessert was the infamous Black Forest cake topped with pink cotton candy and edible flowers, made spectacular with dry ice. Others stopped to watch as it put on its show. My son received a complimentary bowl of ice cream for his birthday which he appreciated. The pastry chef is obviously very talented and unique in her ideas. We'd come back again just to try all the desserts. Prices are a bit high, but the environment and care and attention from staff makes it well worth it. All in all, a memorable evening!

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.
