She then had me call the owner myself in front of her to prove to the worker that the owner truly did say the promotion will be honored. At this point im just surprised I stayed and took this blatant disrespect but I was trying to be respectful which this worker clearly knew nothing about. After getting the owner on the phone, she finally told the worker she will be honoring the promotion. The worker did not like that and took the phone to the back office to have a private conversation (after she forced me to talk in front of her) and then came back and handed me the phone.
