Secret coffee spot located in the courtyard of Grace Community Church. I got the turmeric latte and it was delicious. Great ambiance. Service was quick and very friendly.
After searching for this shop on this extensive campus (more on that later), I finally located Steeple Coffee House. I'm not sure what I expected, since it was connected to a church- I guess I imagined it might be very ...stuffy. It was not that. Warm & ambient lighting & gathered outside seating helps to set the space up for cozy space, very hygge. I ordered a tea and a small almond milk honey latte with a cherry pastry. Service was friendly, quick and I appreciated the soft music playing the background. The latte was creamy but not oily and the espresso was pulled very nicely. Not too sweet, which is nice considering how many coffee shops just toss as many items into a drink as possible and call it a latte. I hadn't realized this location was open to the public and incorrectly assumed it was for their congregants, only. It is not. Hours are 7a-4p Mon-Fri , Sat: Closed and Sunday have a split schedule. Location is a little confusing- at first- but enter anywhere in the rear of the church & find the fountain. From there, you'll see just perpendicular is something denoted as "Grace Walk"- right in that pathway is Steeple Coffee House. Prices are reasonable and truly, a hidden gem!
It was really peaceful and there was wifi and lots of seatings and bathrooms. They had a wide selection of pastries and drinks. The staff was super friendly and the drinks came out fast. There is inside and outside seating :)
What a pleasant surprise. This coffee shop is located inside the Church! I pass Grace Community Church all the time but today I drove into the parking lot and boy is it pretty in there. It feels like an upscale university or lovely shopping center. It definitely gives 'community' vibes. I went on a Monday late morning and there was plenty of parking and places to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The seasonal pumpkin pie latte was really good with a beautiful pour design. And the blueberry filled pastry was really good. I'm happy to have found this gem and support a local business and community building facility.

It was so good, they have many drinks to choose from and some pastries. They sell coffee beans, mugs, shirts, tote bags etc. customer service was friendly, parking lot in the back, indoor and outdoor seating is available. I think I found my new favorite coffee place that's so close to my house.... Who would have thought.
Amazing coffee can be found in unexpected places! In the campus of Grace Community Church is the cities best coffee. It's a small place but they have some exquisite coffee from House Roots and Onyx Coffee. Prices are great and their outdoor seating is plentiful. Kinda feel out of place with all of the students from the seminary in suits but the slightly awkwardness was worth the wait and visit. The Americano was nice and I saw them making milk based drinks for other customers and the baristas are skilled here. Customer service was excellent as well. Def more visits to come, I might have to wear a suit and I'll look the part lol
The Steeple is a hidden gem with great coffee made from high-quality beans and clean ingredients. There's plenty of parking since you can park at the church and just walk over to the entrance. The space is quiet, very clean, and perfect for getting some work done--whether you sit inside or enjoy the outdoor seating. Staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend checking it
I never even knew this place existed. Tucked away in a plaza inside a church community on Roscoe Blvd. awaits delicious pastries and good coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte, so good. Strong enough and not too sweet. My son ordered a hot chocolate and a chorizo w/cheese croissant. He claims this was THEE BEST hot chocolate he's ever had and you can't help but love the crunchy cheese skirt coming out of the croissant. What an amazing hidden gem to add to my coffee shop tour 2023! I had a friend tell me it's one of the best coffee shops in the valley. Next time I'm in the area, I know where I'm getting my coffee.
Best coffee in Sun Valley. Period. Baristas are friendly and well trained. Lots of special flavors too. Only thing missing is Robusta coffee (more bitter and strong than sour and fruity of Arabica).

Never really come out to the valley but was passing through on my way to Santa Clarita for a meeting and was going to be early. Hopped on Yelp to find a coffee spot and Steeple House came up. Interestingly enough, the coffee shop is located within a church campus so it's a bit harder to find. We did get to find it thanks to a kind young man who directed us. Now, don't be afraid to stop in because it's located within a church campus. The coffee they serve are great. From Onyx to Black and White Coffee Roasters. The litmus test for how well a barista can do is ordering an espresso straight. My brother's shot was under extracted and he gave it a 2.5, mine was better and was a 3.5/4 Majority of shops will definitely pull shots and use roasts that are more in the classic profile which we don't really like, but it hits with 95 percent of "coffee snobs" we however, prefer true medium roasts that aren't "burnt" or "strong", but when most people are ordering iced lattes, we understand that you need that burnt taste in order to cut through all that milk. Service was great and the vibe is super chill. It's a relatively small shop but it's a nice place to study and to chill. read more
The vibe was cute, the food was delicious, and the people were very nice. First, the location is within a church, which was a little unexpected. Like it's fully in a church village kind of thing. While drinking my coffee, little kids were brought out on their recess to play. So be aware of that, but there's also an inside section if you want a bit more quiet. The interior is really cute with free WiFi and fun drinks. The staff was very friendly and nice. I ordered the banana cold brew which was really good and my friend had the matcha latte. Great tasty coffee. I found it to be cool how it was inside the church. Overall my experience was "okay". Barista seemed to be a bit chatty with someone sitting on a table. Rating higher for the taste of the coffee but not the costumer service. no costumer connection/acknowledgment-1. read more

This charming little coffee house is tucked inside the courtyard of a church off Roscoe in Sun Valley. They make a wonderful cappuccino or latte and have a small but delightful selection of teas. Everyone here is lovely as you would expect from a coffee shops that's based on a faith community. And the outside seating is a delightful place to read, meet with a friend, or just enjoy a bit of peace and quiet in a respite from the city. Even if your not a person of Christian faith, this is a wonderful and open place to chill. Hey! I'm Jewish...and I find Steeple Coffee to be divine! read more
This is located in a hidden courtyard a few steps from busy Roscoe Blvd. within the Grace Church complex. Park in the back lot by the seminary and go through the quad to the right onto Grace Walk. You'll need to ask for water but they do have free hassle free Wifi. They are open everyday but closed during church services Sunday 8:15 am - 12:00 pm & Sunday 5:45-7:30 pm. Check out the hours in the photo I posted. I've had beautiful lattes here...matcha pistachio was the latest. They have seasonal lattes- Maple during the Fall, Christmas Cookie Latte & Salted Caramel during the winter holidays. They feature OAT MILK! And their pastries are delicious too. The last time I visited, I had a gorgeously flakey almond croissant. Very nice people and a quiet spot to read or study or enjoy the surroundings. Yelp Challenge 2019: 34/100 read more

This is a great place for people who need to work or just to catch up with friends. There is plenty of parking (it's hidden within Grace Community Church) and the baristas are wonderful. I will say if you don't love Jesus, you may feel a bit out of place (there are people who read the Bible, pray, and worship in the coffee shop.) Though, they welcome everyone. The vanilla latte with almond milk was perfect. I can't wait till it warms up so I can enjoy their beautiful patio area to read, work, or hang out, as well. read more

My sister and I have been coming here more often as of recently. The coffee is great, I get a vanilla latte and it's a perfect size coffee. The employees are nice too, there is seating available inside and outside for someone to work or just enjoy their coffee and maybe pastry read more

A coffee industry insider once told me that G&B at Grand Central Market and sister coffee shop, GGET (Go Get 'Em Tiger), serves the best coffee in Los Angeles. For those Valley dwellers such as myself, Steeple House Coffee serves the best coffee in the entire San Fernando Valley based on selection and the packaged coffee roasters available for purchase. The quality is evident in the choice of beans they choose to serve at this coffee shop. For House Roots Coffee fans in the North Valley, they sell their beans here too. House Roots in Granada Hills usually serves Heart Coffee out of Portland. Steeple usually has Ruby Coffee Roasters on hand, but now they also have beans from a couple other quality coffee roasters. The coffee shop is located inside Grace Community Church in their courtyard. If you're a coffee nerd in the San Fernando Valley, Steeple is well worth your drive. When I say coffee nerd, the coffee nerd type that drinks coffee black without cream or other flavors such as vanilla or matcha to mask the flavors of the coffee. If you're like me and dabble with fine teas as well, they also serve the Art of Tea for your afternoon tea drinking pleasure and pastries from Cake Monkey. This afternoon they had only their deliciously crisp chocolate chip cookie. There's an open WiFi connection and plenty of seating and parking at the church. Great place to sit and enjoy a good coffee and a yummy pastry. You can enjoy a peaceful ambience inside to study or sit outside. The staff is very friendly! There's plenty of parking because it's located at a church. The bathrooms are a little bit tricky to find because they are inside the building behind Steeple. read more

I absolutely love this place! Whenever I stayed for evening service, My friends and I would treat ourselves to Steeple house :,) Coffee and teas: 5/5, they take care in brewing and making the drinks. Assam tea latte is so good! You also can't go wrong with any of their espresso-based drinks. Service: 5/5, I can always expect a friendly smile or hello :,) Ambiance: The interior is so cute and well-designed. The outside area has plenty of seating meant for people to catch up, have bible study, or students to study. At night the area is lit up by lamp posts and tea lights. So beautiful! Location note: This coffee shop is located at Grace Community Church. Plenty of parking in the lot! Side note: Also, this place is where I had my first oat milk latte (ft. Oatly) years ago!! They were one of the first coffee shops to carry it before it got super popular months later and Oatly got back-ordered haha read more
