I came here an hour before closing and was still welcomed in. I tried their famous bukon panda green milk tea with boba and it was delicious! I asked for 50% sweetness and it was perfect. The boba like others have said was very soft and good. Got in and out quickly. Good customer service. Cute boba shop in the corner of a plaza with tight parking space so you may have to park in the large plaza with Seafood City next door and walk over. Ambiance is cute and casual. Will definitely be back!

Was really impressed with this spot! Got the La-milo with cheese foam and thought it was very true to the milo flavor. The cheese foam was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Good hangout spot with a couch and music going on the tv. Quick service. I'd be happy to come back to try any of the flavors. Appreciate the ode to the Philippines

Went here because my friend recommended this place for halo-halo. Came here last Saturday afternoon and ordered Halo-halo. Quick service and it was legit - it has both ice cream and flan on top. It's close enough to the authentic version we have at home. If you're in the valley - this is a good place to cool down during the summer. They have other drinks too and boba.

U had to try this place out! The drinks are creative and full of vibes I got the mais con hielo and the tube. It was so tasty!! The staffs also so friendly and explained different types of drinks.

Always on the hunt for a great boba spot. Stopped in since I was in the area and ordered a classic milk tea with boba and a passion fruit green tea with rainbow jelly. The shop is cute with lots of seats and staff were friendly and drink to make the drinks. Drinks were also tasty! A good boba shop!

The staff was nice and welcoming and explained the drinks! We were happy we showed up 15 minutes before closing yet the staff still served us! We wanted to try some boba drinks with a Filipino inspiration. The ube pancake was nice and creamy with no artificial taste. The mango sticky rice did not actually have sticky rice but does come with boba included. It was great with the coconut foam. The dining area is welcoming and decorated well. They had a YouTube dj streaming plus lots of photos of their drinks.

I stopped by here quickly to get my wife her classic milk tea since they didn't have Jasmine milk tea here. The biggest issue you'll have here is the parking because this store is located in a small plaza and right at the corner of a busy light. I would recommend parking at the plaza next door and just walk because they have more parking spots. I came here quickly so didn't have a chance to take a lot of pictures. The inside of the place is clean and they have a limited amount of seating area. The staff here are nice and friendly.

This place was amazing! I went here with my boyfriend on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. The owner and the staff were INCREDIBLY welcoming and sweet. The interior was cute and had quite a bit of seating inside. It felt very cozy and inviting! We got the Aristocraft Latte, the Leche Flan special tea, and the Halo Halo! The owner takes great pride in creating and perfecting his drinks, which I thought was inspiring. The Aristocraft latte was absolutely delicious and really hit that turon flavor point really well! I ended up drinking all of it before I even left the parking lot! Absolutely will be coming back and would totally recommend!

randomly stopped by this small shop and the coffee was very good. the pandan latte was actually pretty amazing. if you don't like aftertastes, then i would probably suggest getting something else. it was my first time trying pandan and i was pleasantly surprised. the creme top was my favorite. i would get the banana latte next time. hope to be coming back soon! i even got a stamp card that they give out to customers for a free latte.

Such a cute Filipino-owned shop with a small parking lot in the front. I ordered the aristrocraft (turon) latte and I LOVED it. Everything from the coffee itself to the cold foam was so delicious and well balanced. The staff were all super kind, especially the owner! You can really tell they care about the quality of their drinks and the ingredients they use. It is a little pricey for the size, but definitely worth it for the quality. Overall, such a welcoming spot with amazing drinks and great people behind it. Definitely will be back!

Finally had a chance to try the Choc nut latte. So good! Love how Craft Tea has such unique flavors. Even a similar drink is somewhere else, it is massively different here. Thank you!

This was my first time here! I'm not typically in the area, but was for a CPR class and figured I'd make the most of being there and find something to try. Being Filipino, this place caught my eye. I was able to find parking easily, but I'd imagine it could be challenging when the plaza is busy. Christian helped me and he was really nice and personable. It's really cute inside as it's a small cafe, with great music playing. I had intended to go for the pandan milk tea, but they don't do tea and boba until noon. Instead I got the mango pandan latte. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but it was really delicious! I wish I lived closer so I can try the milk tea.

Hours. Nobody is here over an hour after they're supposed to be open.

Hours state they open at 7am. I came today, on a Friday, at 8:05 and they are closed. This is beyond late, there's nobody here.

Hopped on Yelp to find a coffee spot and Steeple House came up. Interestingly enough, the coffee shop is located within a church campus so it's a bit harder to find. We did get to find it thanks to a kind young man who directed us. Now, don't be afraid to stop in because it's located within a church campus. The coffee they serve are great. Service was great and the vibe is super chill. It's a relatively small shop but it's a nice place to study and to chill.

The prices are not commensurate to the type of strip mall and overall valley location that the spot is in. Also, the churros took 10 minutes yet somehow tasted stale and lacking cinnamon. I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.

Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same thing about the customer service. Our experience inside the store today was incredibly unwelcoming. The clerk/cashier was not approachable at all, and her demeanor made us feel as though we were being judged rather than welcomed as paying customers. We were there because we genuinely wanted to buy and enjoy their baked goods, yet somehow we walked away feeling like we were being treated as if we couldn't afford to shop there. And that's the part I find disappointing: great products do not excuse poor customer service. You can make the best ensaymada in town, but if the person behind the counter makes customers feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or looked down upon, the quality of the food becomes almost beside the point. People remember how a business makes them feel. I hope the owners of Max & Lucy's take customer service as seriously as they apparently take their baking. Your products deserve praise, but your customers deserve warmth, courtesy, and basic respect too. A smile, a welcoming attitude, and treating every person who walks through the door like a valued customer cost absolutely nothing. Sadly, despite how much I enjoyed the ensaymada, I cannot recommend this place to my friends based on the service we received. Great baked goods may get someone through the door once. Great customer service is what makes them want to come back. The ensaymada left a very good taste in my mouth. The customer service definitely DID NOT.
