My heater started acting up so I wanted to fix the problem before it became a major issue and I was without heat. Tony responded immediate to my request and was at my house in a matter of hours. He examined the unit and cleaned something that might be part of the issue but other than that, no further work was needed. He did not charge for this service nor did he try to sell me something I didn't need. It's hard to find good, honest people and Tony appears to be just that! I plan on getting a new HVAC system in the next few months to replace the original which is over 20 years old. I will definitely be using this company. Thank you so much! I hired Filan & Conner to replace my old whole house air conditioner. They offered a Rheem 4-ton AC with a coil. I accepted it and they installed it on schedule. After its completion I waited a day and then turned on the system and the system was slower than my old system. SO I went to the basement to check the system. I found a number of places where the system was leaking air even from the new coil itself. The new coil they installed is smaller (I was not aware) but they did not change or put a converter to fit it to the old ductwork. They just added copious amount of silicon to connect the two. It looked like a DIY job (pictures attached) and was also causing several leaks. This is a really poor job. These folks are total crooks. read more

I had a problem with my high efficiency boiler. It would "lockout" and I would have to manually reset it. I had had this problem since the boiler was installed. No one was ever able to fix it! I had 6 estimates to repipe my boiler, and Filan & Conner were the only ones to not insist I get an entire new system. They also didn't call me honey, baby, or sweetie! After replacing our sewage drainage pipe a couple of years ago, which was a huge and expensive job, I have had 2 main drain clogs. The first one they came out and unclogged (which I paid full price for). The second one (today) the technician scheduled to come at 11 am. Then he called me back and told me his manager informed him that they were no longer dealing with clogged drains and that they were recommending another company. He texted me the name and number of the company, which when I called turned out to be a towing company. Then I tried to call the technician back, he did not pick up. I have never heard of a plumbing company that no longer fixed clogged drains. Filan and Connor, you just lost my long-standing business. read more

Filan & Conner were at our home from the 12th through the 14th of April adding a second HVAC unit for our 2nd floor in our attic. Everything went well during the installation. All of the workers were courteous and things ran efficiently. Two days after their work was completed, a leak started to form in our upstairs ceiling. I went into the attic to investigate and it appeared that the new unit was leaking over the last two days and water was everywhere in our attic. Water had pooled up in our attic and eventually began to come through the ceiling. We contacted Filan & Conner late Saturday evening and at our request, they came Easter Sunday morning (April 17th) and fixed the leak. The worker informed us that someone else would need to take care of the damage and we should call on Monday, which we did. Since the leak repair, the water has soaked through more of the ceiling and the seams of our ceiling have split open now multiple sections of the ceiling need to be replaced and soaked insulation needs to be replaced. Nine days have passed and we have yet to have someone come and repair this issue. We have initiated multiple emails and phone calls. Each time we are informed that we should be getting a call to schedule the repair that day and still nothing. The damage continues to get worse as the days go by as the weight continues to put a strain on the damaged ceiling. On our most recent call (April 22nd) we were told that we should just call someone else to schedule a repair and send them a bill, which I feel is still unacceptable. Filan & Conner was quick to cash our check, but have continued to drag their feet when it comes to fixing their work as we are still without a date that the repairs are even scheduled to begin. read more

Hired Filan/Conner to install heater 12/2021. A nightmare! Had to have them come out 2 to 3 times a month for 8 months until I said no more. Heater kept breaking down from first day installed 12/30/21. I was without heat for 5 days after installed as they would not come out on weekends or holidays. Some adjustment, then a leaking capacitor that they couldn't find, but I found it. The stack as installed failed inspection by Mt Laurel Twp. It was left unsealed allowing freezing cold air to enter from roof causing overworking of heater - and a carbon monoxide danger. They came out to seal, but used a sealant that was a fire hazard. The ceiling above heater was not secured, plate hanging down and not insulated. This Also aloud up to 130 degrees of heat to enter from roof through to system in summer (This review is shortened.) --- but then came summer with no air conditioning. That summer was brutal with excessive heat and house was hot. High gas and electric bills. All they offered were bandaid corrections that were not nearly appropriate for this heater or my house. And wanted more money saying preexisting conditions that were not part of new heater installation. How do you install a heater as a contractor and not have it work and just make excuses. I finally had enough, had 2 other contractor opinions at my expense to advise corrections needed for the shoddy install. I settled on a contractor to make the repairs. They tested all before hand scientifically and results were as I already knew about my house. And that the corrections Filan/Conner wanted to make were rediculous, cost a lot more money and would not have worked. Obviously Filan/Conner did not know how to install a heater in a modular manufactured home. Filan/Conner does not warrant even one star for review. It cost me $5,000 to correct all repairs that should have been done as part of original installation. The condensate pipe they left uninstalled! When they did come back out to install, they installed it going through main duct leaving all holes and openings unsealed whereby all my airconditioning was be diverted to underneath the house instead of in the house through house vents. I was sick and nauseous all summer from the Excessively hot house and no airconditioning. read more

I was pleased with the outcome of the job, which restored the family room and its carpet and furniture to its original condition. I give this company a 0. Please if you consider using them you get in writing upfront, that all tools they need for the job are written and listed in the contract. When the job was almost completed I was charged an additional $600.00 for a tool they needed. I explained I was not informed that I am responsible for his equipment. He then said "lets split it. I said no as I felt he is responsible for his tools and equipment. He then went to collection for the money. I had paid him $17,500.00 for the job. He threatened to ruin my credit.
