Had them come out for a leak in the main water supply line. Their equipment misdiagnosed the leak as being in the house, so they demoed the slab to find there was no leak and then even demoed the floor further away from the initial area to find no leak. The leak ended up being outside where the water was bubbling up from the ground. Ended up getting charged about $3K for the demo and another $2k for the actual repair. Talked to supervisor to try and get the price adjusted for their mistake and they won't budge. Do not recommend. read more

Excellent service, communication and timeliness. The service tech, Nick, came out and diagnosed the burst pipe with minimal invasion into the drywall. I scheduled a follow up to make the repair and replace an outside hose bib. He came back when he said he would and completed the repairs efficiently and kept me informed during the process. I put a project up on Yelp, They claimed to be able to do it so I had them come out. They could not and then billed me for just showing up. Avoid at all costs. Edit: Another plumber was able to replace just the flush valve for 1/2 the cost (including parts) I was quoted by Davis. It took less than an hour. read more

Had Davis Plumbing come in because my second floor bath tub/shower was leaking down to the lower level powder room. The guy came in and decided he didn't want to go through the space he would have to use to get to the back of the shower wall and its plumbing, so he busted out the tile in the bathroom to get to the plumbing; and I mean busted through the tile. He did not take a tile cutter and cut around the tile and pull it out; he just sledge hammered through. He also did not lay any cloth in the bathtub to catch the debris. Called Tuesday am and Tommy was here that afternoon. The utility sink was clogged (washer drains into it) with roots. Tommy used the machine to get the roots out but it was still super slow. He came back the next day with the bigger machine but the problem resolved itself in the meantime. Tommy was knowledgeable and professional. Price was affordable. 30 day guarantee on the work too! After a big storm came through and our recently repaved road debris clogged and burned out our sump pump for a second time we decided to do it right and get a professional. With our basement flooding and waters getting higher by the minute we weren't having luck with other companies. Davis was one of the few that actually answered their phone on a weekend. They cost us a bit more than we were expecting but he promised us more too. He not only replaced the pump but also cleaned the pit and replaced some piping to make sure the job was good and lasted. We've had to call Davis a couple of times. The first was, what we perceived, an emergency. They came out right away, showed us the issue and explained it wasn't as bad as we thought. They arrived when they said they would...after normal business hours and repaired the problem promptly. Most recently we called Davis as we were having issues with the workings of our toilets. We had an evening plumbing emergency that, due to only having one bathroom, needed to be fixed immediately. An hour after being called, Dan and Wayne were at the house. We appreciated that they were both masked. The piping problem turned out to be complicated, requiring work both in and outside the house. After they left, a lingering issue was discovered. On Sunday we discovered our downstairs toilet overflowing due to a blockage in our main sewer line. It was nerve wracking for me since this is our first home and haven't been officially been broken into homeownership with an issue in our new home. So I was in a tizzy and worried. My husband is in the military and was due to leave early Monday morning for duty so I was going to have to deal with it myself. Ron was nice and understanding.
