That's when I reached out to Home Power Solutions via the Book Now Web form. Bill reached out to me promptly, asked a few questions, and gave me what I felt to be a reasonable quote. We scheduled a time a week out (he was ready to go sooner, but the charger was in transit to me). Bill showed up in the time range given and got the job done in the time allotted. It was comforting to have someone who knows EV chargers and had even installed the same model before. I would recommend his company to anyone looking to install an EV charger.

Once he fixed the one issue, I asked him to investigate another problem within the house. Again, he was very thorough in his investigation and fixed the problem. I would definitely recommend him him. He's responsive, knowledgeable, thorough, and a friendly guy with very reasonable rates.

About 5 Years ago, Fletcher selected and installed a new central AC system for my home. I was required to pay a 50/% deposit the first week of September. It is now the first week of November and I still do not have the new part! There have been numerous excuses and unkept promises for status calls, most recently from Fletcher owner. BTW other smaller household plumbing issues have required return visits to properly resolve.

I still think it's BS that they would do any work without giving an estimate first but at least the customer service was decent. They offered to refund but since they did the work we don't feel right taking the refund. We just would have appreciated being asked for approval to do the work in the first place. We asked Rays and Sons to come out for an estimate. They came out. Said they'd be back in a week. In that time we NEVER got an estimate so we thought they were coming back to look into it further/troubleshoot a problem and then give an estimate. Nope. They came back out (again, never gave an estimate), did some minor work that looked more like troubleshooting to find out what the work was going to be and then give an estimate. Instead we were hit with a $400 bill for barely any work! Absolutely ridiculous. No way in hell we will ever use them again. This is the second time we've called them for something. The first time seemed pricey but it was work we needed done immediately and didn't have time to look around for a better option. Listen to me when I say take the time and find someone else!
