There was a clear communication issue, and my requests were not understood or respected. The pressure was so intense that I had to ask the therapist to stop the massage early and leave. My back is now bruised. This was not relaxing or therapeutic at all, and I would not return or recommend this place. I don't recommend this place AT ALL. However, they could be a bit more professional. While it was a decent massage, I know it wasn't the full hour. I don't remember the name of the woman who gave me my massage. During my massage she picked up 2 phone calls, since she brought the business phone into the room with her. I've never had that before. Then I could hear and feel her cell phone vibrate in her pocket a couple of times. She also stepped out of the room a couple of times to speak with new customers walking in. I just thought this was super unprofessional, which is how I know I didn't get a full hour massage because I arrived early and left before the hour. I also don't like places that want you to pay before getting your massage. She swiped my card for payment prior to the massage, and had me complete the tip section.

Not quite Siam Orchid level, but genuinely one of the best we've had outside of it. We did a couples massage with the Thai integrative oil massage therapy, and I upgraded to deep pressure for extra. The stretching was thorough and intentional. Total came out to about $400 including tip and the deep pressure add-on. This was actually more than we'd pay for the same thing at Siam Orchid in SF, which surprised us a bit given the Denver cost-of-living assumption. The space itself has this cozy feel. After, they brought out tea and little flower-shaped cookies, which was such a lovely touch to end on. This place used to be our go to spot when I lived in Denver. I haven't been back for about 5 years…read more- and happened to be in town. My husband and I both booked foot massages. I'm used to Asian foot massages including a little shoulder rub at least (some give you a partial body massage), but this one was purely just foot. The guy I had was just doing the same motions over and over on my foot for the entire hour. It was hard to give feedback in real time because I kept thinking ok... maybe it'll change after 30 mins -- it didn't! He had good pressure, but my main issue is that he didn't do anything else but rub the arch of my foot! I've had tons of foot massages and they would typically work on my heel, ankle, individual toes, etc. I didn't get any of that. My husband wasn't happy with his massage either. His masseuse didn't apply enough pressure even after repeated requests. When we checked out, we still tipped out of courtesy, but we let the owner know that we were both dissatisfied -- and all she said was, "oh you have to let me know you want someone really good and I will make sure you have a better one next time". So by default, we should expect a sub par experience?? She offered no discounts and happily took our full payment and tip ($140 for two mediocre massages!). There won't be a next time for us.

My favorite massage is the combo: 30 minutes reflexology (which includes a scalp and facial massage), and 30 minutes full body. Reflexology and facial massage can help with sinuses. This time, because I was in serious pain, I did the 90-minute combo for $85. Ooooooh. Owwww. The reflexology was wonderful and relaxing--the facial and scalp massage are done while your feet soak in a bucket of hot water--but the bodywork is INTENSE. My pain was mostly concentrated between my shoulder blades, and lower back. Like all Asian massages for pain, the process is painful. The therapist used her elbows on the knots in my shoulders. She found and kneaded out areas of tension. The massage finishes up with hot stones and a wipe with a warm towel to remove the oil. I'll admit that I was kind of happy when it was over, lol. But when it was, I felt SO much better!! I love this place. I hadn't been here in years (Coco Massage, their sister spa, is closer to my house), but they remembered me!
