Mixed feelings about my visit today for sure, especially since it was my first time there. My massage was pretty good (she respected my shoulder issue, which I'm thankful for), which accounts for the stars, and the gal who did my lash lift was very personable and seemed knowledgeable. However, there are definitely some things that didn't go as I would have hoped: 1) apparently there was construction that just started in a suite behind where my massage room was. There was industrial vacuuming going on at several different times during my massage, right on the other side of the wall from me. Not the business' fault, but not relaxing at all. 2) there are 4 choices of music for your room (ocean, zen, and 2 others) - I chose what I believed would be a peaceful one, and actually became distracted several times during the hour by the overly uptempo piano music in the room. Music is a large part of the ambience during a massage, and again this was a miss. 3) no water offered after my massage, no suggestion to drink more water today, no comments on where I might be holding tension/be sore later, no suggestion for ice/heat pack in certain areas. Simply handed me over to my next appointment. I've never experienced this before. Am I expecting too much? Finally, I'm sorry to say, that the Lash 'Lift' scheduled after my massage was a Lash Letdown instead. The gal was super nice, and very knowledgeable about the process, but I literally saw NO lift. NONE. She showed me in a hand mirror when we were done (while still lying down) and I remember thinking - wow, I see nothing! But assumed it was from the angle I was looking at them. So I paid and went out to the car and took a closer look.....and hightailed it back in there immediately to tell them there was zero result (for $35). Lash gal told me that her lifts "only curl a little bit at the corners" and that those were the only eyelash forms (the things that go on your eyelid) she had. She said her lifts don't "curl all of your lashes up" - which confuses me. Isn't this why ladies get this procedure? And if it "only curls the corners a little bit" this should be on the service description.... Anywho, she basically tells me there isn't anything that can be done and fetches the owner. The owner tells me they have never had any complaints about the results before but can refund my $$ for the Non-Lift. She then says "and we'll just notate your file that we are unable to offer you lash lifts going forward". Interesting comment. Thank you for refunding my money. And, no one will need to check my file after today's visit. read more

Societal Invisible Stigma, and Mysogeny I've been a client of Vanessa's for about a year, and she has great skills. I've arrived on time for every appointment, except one. I'm a 61-year-old female veteran, was the only ChildFind nurse in her childrens' district for 8 of my 14 years there. Physical problems and illness are acceptable for accommodations. I have an invisible disability, and the comorbid behaviors that come with it are admired in men but not socially acceptable in women. I self advocated nicely, saying please, for an accommodation that would take very little effort, She dropped me. read more

Jennifer Elting and Vanessa Mullen are the best: Vanessa is a wonderful esthetician; I've had facial waxing and she gets every single little stray hair on my brows and lip (tmi? Sorry). She also turned me onto Sanitas facial products and I feel such a difference in my skin. Never thought that would happen. I've also had a few intensive facials and it's taken care of some spots on my cheek and forehead. What I really like is her level of knowledge; she asks the right question to tailor products and services to my needs - don't ever worry about a 'bait and switch' for products or Vanessa trying to push additional services. She'll explain the details of a service but leaves the decision to you. Jennifer is da' bomb when it comes to a massage. Warm environment, soft music, great selection of lotions. She can find those knots and release that energy! A true professional. Like Vanessa, Jennifer does try to sell add-ons while you're on the table - although think about doing the hot stone add-on, it's amazing! I had an appointment on May 15 for waxing and Vanessa texted me an hour before the appointment to cancel/reschedule because she didn't have enough wax. I was pretty annoyed but whatever, mistakes happen. I didn't reschedule and went to somewhere else instead. Fast forward to now, MORE THAN 6 WEEKS LATER, I recieved a text and email that I missed an appointment on May 16 and I'm being charged a no show/cancellation fee. Yep, you heard that right, they charged me for a "missed appointment" THAT I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE. A completely fake made up appointment and they stole my money. I'm honestly in shock, I didn't think this level of incompetence was even possible. I didn't leave a review initially about Vanessa cancelling on such short notice because I try to support small local business as much as possible, but my experience with Exclusively Yours has been appalling and completely unacceptable. Once again, THEY CHARGED ME A NO SHOW FEE FOR AN APPOINTMENT I NEVER MADE. What on earth??? What kind of malicious scammy behavior is that? I haven't received a refund yet and if I don't in the next few days, I will certainly be filing a fraud claim with VISA and reporting this business to the BBB. read more

Jennifer is an excellent massage therapist - really knows how to get the deeper knots out of stressed muscles, and uses just the right pressure to loosen the body up. My upper back and neck haven't felt like they could breathe in so long, but just a few sessions later, the tension has melted, and I'm feeling much better. Mary is my new official massage queen. Be sure to book her because she is amazing! While the location of this is unassuming, the second you walk in the vibe is perfect. Like, immediate calm. They offer you a warm neck wrap while you wait and there's a title tray of sample lotions so you can pick out which scent you want for your massage. After doing a lot of research online, I found Exclusively Yours. It had amazing reviews all-around, so I looked a little closer. What I found is that this place is affordable and I was even able to book a massage for the very next day! What're the odds? I showed up about 5 mins early to do my new client paperwork, and I was stunned at what they offered: 1) MY choice of background noise 2) MY choice of lotion scent 3) MY choice of climate control in the room Not to mention the woman running the front desk was so nice and organized, and clearly had a lot on her plate. Jennifer was an amazing masseuse, and really catered to my wants and needs. She will certainly converse with you if you want (I can be a talker), but I have no doubt she'll also let you lay in quiet if you want. However, we started talking about dogs, and who can stop talking about them?! My 60 minute massage flew by, and I felt so amazing, destressed, and my muscles hadn't felt this good in so long! I've been here twice now, once for a massage and again for a facial. Not super impressed with either service and probably would not be back. The positives are the overall vibe and level of customer service. Upon entering the receptionist greeting is always friendly and you are offered a hot or cold neck wrap. The atmosphere and waiting area is soothing, darker lighting, and has a nice selection of teas. Great spa vibes. However the actual service itself wasn't anything amazing. My massage was with mary, wasn't very relaxing. The pressure was pretty hard despite me asking multiple times for a swedish softer massage. She also began massaging an area that I had marked not to since I'd had surgery. The facial wasn't great either. It felt like many things were done but not much was told to me about the process and what was being done and why. The extractions were somewhat painful and I left feeling like my face was all covered in a thick goop. I've had other facials before and this was not the case, so I guess I know there is better out there unfortunately. Really wanted to like this place since it is close and has reasonable prices, but I can't say I do. read more

Holy crap! I'm almost selfishly afraid to write this review to bring in more business. I used to get periodic student massages at a local massage school for the affordability of it, but stopped after they closed. After an intense Memorial Day workout still lingering, intense PTSD counseling, and doing a lot of research online, I stumbled across these guys and saw that they were reasonably priced and had availability that same evening. I decided to give it a go and was not disappointed! Mary did an awesome job of making me feel comfortable and worked me over really good. She initially chatted with me a bit to make me feel comfortable and then she let me relax afterwards, to which I kept falling asleep at the end when she was doing relaxation techniques on my back...its not easy for me to get that comfortable! I was pleasantly surprised by this unassuming little place in a business complex. The staff was very nice; they gave me a hot neck wrap while I waited and let me select the music style for the room and which lotion scent I preferred. Being the last appointment of the day, scheduled that same day, they didn't treat me like I was inconvenient either, which I kinda expected -- test, passed! I just had the best massage of my life!! I've been to about six different massage therapists and Jennifer is by far the best one. She is amazing. I saw her for a 60 min prenatal massage (I am 38 weeks pregnant). She gives very strong, deep massages and is very knowledgeable. She told me she's been doing this for 15 years and it shows. She gave me some tips on how to deal with my plantar fasciitis and tension headaches. She was kind and very in tune with what I needed. She was forthcoming with advice and information on pain management without me having to drag it out of her, but she didn't talk the entire time either- which I appreciated because I have had therapists that have done that and it makes it harder to relax. The office is very nice and clean. Everything smells nice. When you first arrive you are given a hot or cold pack for your neck and get to relax in a dark room while you wait for your massage. The owner, Jennifer Elting, mentioned she has been doing massage for over 7 years and decided to branch out and open her own business. I had a 60-minute, Swedish massage. I am so glad to have found this hidden gem! Jennifer is knowledgeable and has always tailored the massage for my specific requirements. I have tightness in muscles from sitting at the computer all day. She even helped with a case of whiplash I had.
