He then admitted he's issued "lots of gift certificates" that have expired and refuses to honor any of them. Even after the front desk employee confirmed she personally issued these certificates, the owner refused to honor them or make any exception. I'm deeply disappointed. This isn't just about poor customer service - this is a business owner openly admitting he doesn't care about federal consumer protection laws. I'm filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Warning to others: If you've purchased gift certificates from this business, they may refuse to honor them regardless of what the law requires. Spend your money at businesses that respect both their customers and the law.
