I visited the Foot and Ankle Center of the Central Coast today referred by my primary care physician. I was seen by the younger Dr Fillerup, Casey. In every respect I found the visit unpleasant and unhelpful. While filling out the required paperwork on arrival, they rudely insisted that I sign paperwork that was both untrue and inappropriate. I was required to sign that I had received information I did not receive. That was only the beginning. What I discovered is that although I was fully insured, there was no care I could receive without paying additional out of pocket fees. They offered to trim my toenails, for eighty dollars. They indicated that the only treatment they had for toe fungus that really worked was their laser procedure, which is $300 per treatment, 3 treatments minimum. Dr Casey Fillerup finally admitted he was only interested in doing surgical procedures. It was plainly obvious they don't care about the patients, except for whatever extra out of pocket charges they can leverage to make every penny they can. I recommend you don't bother to go there unless you have wads of cash. I am convinced they are not interested in the Hipocratic oath but rather the Farengi Rules of Acquisition. The quickest route to your wallet seems to be their faocus. read more
