This location is what the city of Albany has been missing! They literally have the BEST food in the city. Now let me give an honest review. I had the lamb chops with mac and brocolli. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked to temperature and the flavor was impeccable. The Mac and cheese was a little too bland for my liking, being from the south the Mac n cheese has to HIT! The broccoli was almost better than the chops, sautéed perfectly and the flavor my God! Great job chef The service was 1000/10! My bartender was Tory and she was running the show! She had to work both bars by herself but she didn't miss a beat! This slowed her down a little bit with our rounds but she handled herself very well and her attitude stayed bubbly and bright. Our whole crew was impressed by her bartending skills, she made a KILLER lemon drop! The bar there is what brings us back, the girls are always super friendly and as backed up as you guys usually are on the weekends the bartenders always make sure we have a great time. We don't mind spending our money for great service! Job well done to the bartenders at Fin & Feathers! The ambiance is nice, but we'd definitely like to see that stage utilized so us business professionals can have a weekly hangout spot. Maybe a live band or some karaoke would be great! I visited this new location in Albany last Saturday night at 7 pm. I booked reservations for myself at first. The person text back and said I could just walk in. Later I text the number back and updated it to 2 ppl and got no response. If you have a number for reservations you need to make sure that someone is paying attention to the texts. We were seated though but beside ppl smoking. That is unattractive to me. I don't want to sit by someone smoking. Our drinks were never filled until asks and then that took forever. The food was okay. I ordered the grilled fish and had 2 sides. My girlfriend ordered the lobster tail and she sent that back cause it was to spicy for her. The DJ playing music was nice but be didn't say one word that night. We stayed at least 3 hrs enjoying the music. I gave a 4 because we both enjoyed the atmosphere and the manager was awesome when we told her the issues we were having. My girlfriend was allowed to change her order with no problem. So we will be back. Hopefully with those changes it will be a better experience. read more

Although we attempted to go to Fin & Feathers, we were turned away due to not having a reservation. Ultimately, the Security Guard tried to accommodate us; however, the seating given to customers without reservations was accommodating to my spouse and me. I havent be back since. read more

I booked a reservation for 6:30. I couldn't book my table however when l showed up the server tried to force me to sit at a cramped bar section even after l requested to sit somewhere else. To be just opening, they will never see a dollar of my money. Obviously the Valdosta location is better managed.
