They owner of the store grows the coffee beans himself at his farm. Really rich and crisp tasting roast. Lattes are great but I recommend getting it black/only a splash of milk so you can really appreciate the bean. Haven't tried the hot drinks but they look great too. I REALLY wanted to love this coffee shop, the glowing reviews gave me high hopes, and I've been searching constantly for something comparable to a New York, California, or even Portland level coffee shop. Maybe it was an off day but I was not impressed at all. The customer service was seriously lacking, maybe a bad day? The steam quality and temperature was not 5 star worthy. The vanilla syrup wasn't great with the espresso tasting notes. The chocolate croissant was tasty, but I was hoping for an empanada since it's listed on their menu via the Google listing. I was advised they've never had empanadas so I'm not sure what that discrepancy is about. Overall I just think there are better options (yet, still nothing amazing), but due to location and interior design, there is some potential here if the coffee training becomes more consistent. read more

Good coffee, nice people, very relaxing vibes. This place reminds me of home so I had to come here. I had my usual latte and it tasted very good. The owner is so sweet and multicultural. They play Moroccan and various types of cultural music which gives this place a very unique feel to it. There is a cute Pomeranian dog running around also and saying hi to people and puppies. Make sure you say hi. There are plenty of plugs inside and outside if you want to do work on laptop and enjoy a beautiful sunny day. So happy I found this spot. read more

It's warmed up but it was ok, I wasn't mind blown. It didn't seem as buttery and flaky as I like my croissants so I'd probably skip that next time. Free WiFi available, and kudos for the paper straws! (Not sure if that's a requirement in FL, I'm from CA). Oh, and they're located inside the liquor store. I decided to come in here for some much needed mid-day caffeination, and was completely beguiled by this coffee shop's space and presentation! I ordered a cortadito and it's so blew my mind!!! Creamy and strong with a hint of intangible magic!!!! So the intangible magic may be the 4 bloody Mary's kicking in, but nonetheless, I'm absolutely in love with this place! Really cool coffee spot in upper buena vista. Service is very friendly- they are third generation coffee roasters from Venezuela. I had a nitro cold brew and a vegan banana bread. The cold brew was really strongly flavored- you can tell the beans are very high quality. The banana bread was delicious and did not have a weird aftertaste like some vegan baked goods are. Finca's Coffee is hidden in the Upper Buena Vista sanctuary. It is a cute and cozy coffee shop with pour over, Chemex, drip coffee or espresso options. The barista was very passionate about the coffee beans and flavors. While the coffee shop has a lovely brand and story to tell as a small business that farms, roasts and brews their own coffee, the coffee itself was bitter, acidic and not very pleasant. I ordered a "flight" for five dollars to taste two espressos but I didn't like it. I do not usually taste or order espresso, but I felt this was coffee I would never order again. I also like soy milk but this store only has almond milk or oat milk. The presentation of the flight was very interesting to look at so I took a picture of it. I recognize I am not much an espresso drinker so each person should judge the coffee on its own merits. read more

The moment i walked in reminds me of the speakeasy low key coffee roasters in nyc the associate was nice it was a small group of us. i ordered the cold brew with oat milk ($3.55) and for extra $2.00 a shot of mct with cold brew to try out. both were delicious the coffee itself was superb! I love a good coffee especially when you don't have time to make it at home because you have to rush out so quickly. My co-workers and I were happy to find that here. The coffee selection were great and they had (oat milk and almond/coconut milk which is amazing not all coffee shops offer quite a variety), smoothies. Haven't had really good coffee like this in a long time. I ordered the cortadito with whole milk. It was very thick and creamy with a nicely balanced nutty roast. They even made it with latte art despite it being in a smaller cup. Really impressed and would like to try their other offerings, if only I didn't live so far. It is a small cafe. There is only one bench by the window with three stools to sit inside and one table right in front of the business. The outside of the area is a shared courtyard with other restaurants and cute shops. Only downside is parking is metered on the side of the road and pretty full. We ended up parking valet for $23 and going to a restaurant in the courtyard before trying out this cafe. read more

One of the best cups of coffee I've had in town, like no joke. This joint was recommended by one of my cousins who is a huge fan of their blends so much that he orders it to be shipped to Kennesaw, Georgia where I tried one of his favorites while visiting. I wanted to try the Obama/ Lempira roast but they didn't have at the time so the gentleman recommend another which names escapes my mind right now but was just more than delicious and perfect. I ordered the triple shot for my latte with perfectly executed coffee art which is something I love and enjoyed what I consider one of the best lattes/coffees I've ever had anywhere. I have to come back to try Chemex pour over to enjoy a plain and simple cup of black coffee which I usually don't go for but this method makes it special according to both my cousin and the young man helping me at the time. He was very helpful, educational, attentive and welcoming so I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Buy a cortado from here...now! I have tried cortados at third wave coffee shops all across the country over the years, and have found so much variance in cortados that affects their likability. A cortado is an espresso drink with equal parts espresso and steamed milk. Usually a double shot of espresso with 2 oz of milk. Despite it being so simple, the outcomes can vary drastically. Below, you will find just a few of the many possible outcomes - Hot coffee and cold milk to make a luke-warm cortado = bad - Burnt espresso = bad - Milk isn't incorporated into the espresso, but instead it feels like you are drinking a milky espresso = bad The rare perfect cortado accomplishes the following: perfect temperature espresso (hot but not burnt), perfect temperature steamed milk, and a masterful hand that understands how to incorporate the milk into the espresso so that you are not tasting a coffee flavored milk or a milk flavored coffee.
