I have passed by this place often and only stopped in once with a friend previously, where we ended up leaving because no waiter ever came. I tried it again today by myself - I just wanted a matcha latte before a yoga class that I was going to. I feel like because I was just ordering a coffee type drink, they weren't showing me attention. Never filled my water. When I asked for update on drink after several min, they just told me 5-10 more min. Not very helpful or fast. The kicker was the "service charge" - I had planned to tip less tbh but they just added what they wanted right to the bill. There's a lot of coffee places around here so I probably won't come back to try the food. I just felt like a bother to the staff the whole time I was there. My waffle was disappointing and I actually didn't end up eating it because the taste was slightly off. It's a vegan rice flour waffle so it may be texture meets unusual flavor that turned me off but the staff was super accommodating and returned the ordered. The only thing was that I added a chicken breast to my dish to take it home to my dog and I found it to be stuffed with garlic which is toxic for dogs and I didn't request that however they didn't know it was for my dog and what I meant by a chicken breast was solely a breast. The home fries were pretty good but a bit soggy. They have a home made ketchup that is quite delicious. Recommend trying that! We also ordered the waffle.
