Feb 12, 2025 came in at 12:20 for a recall, wiper change and fix or replace one winter tyre. after 4 hours they said they're done but the can't fix the tyre as it must be replaced. so we waited 4.5 hours for just recall and wipers. Absolutely shit service!!!! Zero communication!!!! read more

When I purchased my 2019 Genesis G70 from Finch Hyundai/Genesis London in London, Ontario, back in 2021, it had a dent on the right rear quarter panel area. As part of the deal to purchase the vehicle I was told that the dent would be taken out. The dent was taken out poorly but the dealership was of no help to me after that and I left it alone. I was told that because I bought the car as certified pre-owned from Genesis, they couldn't do anything else about the problem. Three years later, there is rust forming around the hole they drilled in my car to make the dent repair. They are taking no responsibility for the damage. First I was told that the hole was from rust proofing (there are no holes drilled into the car for rust proofing, this is the only hole) and after that the excuse was that the car was purchased three years ago and there is nothing they can do. The car is rusting because a hole was drilled into it and no kind of anti-rust or paint was used to cover up the exposed metal. I have never written a negative review for any company or organization before but felt that I had to write one here, that's how poor my experience has been with this dealership. Terrible dealership in so many ways. Of course, when you planing on buying their car, they will butter you up and will also make their extended warranty sound appealing, but in reality, its a bad deal. Once you make the purchase and have to deal with maintenance or under warranty repair, service will try to tell you this or that is not cover by warranty, but in fact extended warranty extends manufacturers warranty and covers everything up to 160.000km-200.000km, they are not to be trusted at all. Hyundai has some major issues with their older and now new cars engine and transmission. Tree of my cars.. Sonata, Tucson and SantaFe transmissions went bad right after warranty expired, but during warranty period when I took my vehicles to check them out as I felt transmission was already acting up, they did diagnostic and said "Nothing is wrong" its the way transmission adopts to your driving habits....absolutely terrible. First off I want to say that I have purchased 3 vehicles from you. 2015 Veloster 2016 Elantra GLS and 2015 Sonata. I work at a dealership and had my Sonata looked over this week and found out that its a oil burner big time and the oil is getting into the spark plug area which is making the engine light come on and lose of power and car shaking. I then had a co worker that use to work there and they told her that they won't replace the engine until the engine blows. And then when it does blow they aren't sure if i would still be covered for a new engine. Being a long term customer they would rather me wait till the engine blows on highway when ur doing 110-115 kms a hour and your engine starts to loose power and you have to try to get to the side of the road without getting hit or you hitting someone instead of replacing the engine now. I guess they don't care about there existing customers and rather care for their new customers. So unless this matter gets resolved I will be telling everyone not to get a vehicle from you guys as your a scammer and don't want to help people. read more

I'm very dissatisfied with the level of service. I'm currently sitting here and the staff here is very dismissive. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't looking to buy. multiple people came in after and were served and greeted instantly. Obviously being a person of colour this just justify racial profiling. Kind of disappointed. Came in to discuss the possibility of trading in our current vehicle and leasing another. We made an appointment but when we showed up, neither the receptionist nor the salespeople were ready for us. When we finally sat down with someone, he was pretty dismissive, telling us that they don't trade in vehicles for leases, and low-balled our current vehicle - seemed like he was just trying to get rid of us. read more

Under no circumstances would I ever recommend Finch Hyundai. I bought a car two months ago, and realize that I had a recall on my vehicle related to my oil pan and oil sensor. I called and spoke with the receptionist and explained there was a recall showing up on my vehicle. I provided her with my VIN number, and the woman was adamant that there was no recall on my vehicle. She claimed she also searched my VIN number. She said that she would have somebody from the service department call me back. The following day, I still had not received a call back. I called back into the dealership, and spoke with the same receptionist who explained again, that she was not seeing a recall on my vehicle. I explained that I have run the Vin number on the Hyundai Canada website, and it is coming back that I do in fact have a recall. She stated that I could bring the vehicle in However, if the recall is not coming up, they would charge me $100.00 for someone to look at it. I asked her to have somebody from the service department call me back. Shortly after this another unpleasant woman called back, and explained that there is no recall on my vehicle, that multiple people have searched the VIN, and if I brought my vehicle in they would charge me $100 for the service department to look at it. I explained it would be taking my vehicle elsewhere and the woman hung up on me. I called over and spoke with airport hyundai, and the service department immediately ran the VIN and explained that there was in fact a recall on my vehicle. I took my vehicle in a couple of days later and had my vehicle serviced. I would never recommend Finch. Their staff are arrogant and have no interest in assisting customers. read more

I have been a loyal customer since July of 2006, the customer service used to be great however it is terrible now. I honestly am not going back. No one wants to help you, it's like one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing.
