I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lexus of Spokane. I brought my 2018 Lexus RX 450hL in at 10:00 AM because my vehicle was displaying a "Hybrid System Stopped" warning. By 5:00 PM, my car still had not been diagnosed, and I was simply told they couldn't determine why the message was appearing. I understand that diagnosing intermittent issues can take time, but after waiting all day, I expected much better communication, updates, and progress. What made the experience even worse was what happened when my 6-year-old Black son and I first arrived. An older white employee looked at my son and said, "Oh, are you the guy we hired to clean the floors? We pay a nickel an hour." I found that comment completely inappropriate and offensive to say to a young child. It immediately made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. read more

Just picked up my 2024 Lexus from the service department with a new dent in the back. After I dropped it off the sales service guy called to let me know there was a dent in the back. He said I probably wouldn't notice it because it's not my job and that's what he does for a living. Basically, I'm too stupid to notice. Then when I picked it up, the sales manager came out, tried to justify it and dropped my leather key fob in the parking lot. This car is taken care of like a baby. I've had it a year and a half. It only has 3,500 miles on it. It's stored in a garage with nothing else in there. You would have to be blind, not to notice a dent like this. Also said they washed my car, here are a couple post service photos. I don't care that they can't wash a car, but I do care about the dent they put in my car and now are lying about it. read more

I got a great, no-hassle price on a new Lexus. Got picked up at the airport by Findlay Lexus and was out the door a couple hours later to drive her back home. However, since then, I've called/texted the salesperson a total of 4 times to ask questions about the driving assist and only received one reply. Guess I'm ghosted. read more

Deceitful service center. My spouse took her 2022 RX450h in for its 10,000 mile service. She had a slow leak in one of the vehicles tire and asked them to check it. Lexus service told her the tire was not repairable and wanted her to order a new tire at $300 plus. Thank goodness she told them she would have me look at it. Upon her returning home I checked the tire and found a small screw the center of for the tire tread. I took the tire to a local tire shop and had the tire repaired. We have had no issues with the tire since the repair. I am extremely disappointed with Findlay service center. I don't know if they tried to pull a fast one on my spouse or just lack any type of honesty. We won't be back. read more

First time here for service and pleased. Efficient and friendly (thank you Mr. Freet), and clearly communicated costs and what was needed, then told what was done and what would need to be done going forward. Only did what was needed as I requested so no up-selling. Cost was fair. Was offered ride but waited because total projected time seemed reasonable and vehicle was done well within this window. Lots of people in waiting room (which was large enough to comfortably accomodate) so suspect this operation has a good reputation. Excellent coffee. Got to watch how various service advisors talked with other people and they were all very polite and helpful. Have had dealings with Findlay Ram in nearby Post Falls ID that were also very favorable so think that Findlay has and enforces standards of excellence to take care of customers. read more

Was forced to purchase a car protection plan that included bug and tar removal. Now when it comes to performing this task they deny that it part of the plan. I purchased a certified used Lexus from this dealership back in late April. As of September 23rd, five months after the purchase date, I am still waiting on the title so I can register the car legally. I'm currently unable to drive the car due to the title issues. The dealership has been unimaginably unhelpful. I would never buy a car here again nor would I ever recommend a friend or family member purchase here either. Last night I inquired about a car that they had on their lot they insured me that it was still available. So we went ahead and submitted our applications last night the finance manager was already gone. So this morning he called and we went ahead and got approved and I gave him our card number because he was at lunch to go ahead and cover the down payment because we wanted the lock in the car obviously and not have somebody else buy it because I was at work and couldn't get down until later. Only to get a text about 30 minutes later stating that they sold it to somebody else because they showed up and drove it and we basically didn't test drive it yet. Evidently they don't understand that it's 2022 and people buy things over the Internet now I was appalled at the way they treated us and I will definitely never recommend them I would stay as far away as possible unless you like being lied to. read more

BE CAREFUL OF THE SERVICE ADVISOR! I made an appointment 1 month out since I had to drive from Coeur d'Alene, ID to Spokane for a recall on my Lexus. The literature I received on the recall letter specifically stated: "The remedy should take approximately 2 1/2 hours." We were there at the exact time of the appointment. Our service advisor was ASA BIRRELL. NEVER ASK FOR THIS PERSON. AVOID HIM! Although the person making our appointment told us it would take 2-3 hours. Asa immediately came over and said that it would take 4 hours. Asa was short with us and acted like he could care less we were a customer. Four hours later, I called and asked Asa when will the car be ready since we did no hear anything. He responded: "I told you I would call you when the car was ready." He said the car was not ready and that it may very well take longer and he had no idea when it would be ready. I actually told him to go find out from the mechanic WHEN it would ready. I assume he did this since he called me 5 minutes later and said it was being washed. When I picked the car up, he offered me NO paperwork regarding the recall repair. He actually told me I did not need any paperwork. I insisted he provide me with proof that the recall repair (a faulty fuel pump inside the gas tank) was fixed. He did so and I left. With what appeared to be 3 advisors only (and I could be wrong on this) - DON'T LET ASA HELP YOU UNTIL HE RECEIVES FURTHER TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Our salesman was Scott Petterborg. I have to say buying a car here is one of the best experiences I have ever had purchasing a new vehicle. The best thing about this place is that they never go on the test drive with you, at least they never have with us. They also never pressured us with wanting our phone number or giving you those lame ass sayings you only hear at a car dealer such as, " What can I do to put you in this car today", " I really think you look great in this vehicle", etc. Once we decided to purchase said vehicle the "arguing process" LOL was non eventful. Easily the smoothest deal we have been through. BTW, while there a lady came in that had her car there for service with a suitcase. I guess I should've read the reviews because they're absolutely right they will sell you a car they fixed to last a few days without terrible notice and then all the worst nightmares start happening, as they've covered it up and that's what they're good at. Yesterday took a trip from Coeur d' Alene to Creston Canada to go to a farmers market. While there we had to turn on the 4 way flasher for a few minutes. Unfortunately the flasher would not turn off. Finally I removed the fuse for the flashers but then we did not have turn signals. The Lexus belonged to my sister who had bought the SUV a few years ago from Larry Miller Lexus that is now owned by Findlay. It was 11am and I called Findlay service to see if they could get us in to solve the problem. We talked to Josh who was leaving soon and he told us he could get us in at 2 pm. So we headed to Spokane. Around 1:30 we called the service dept to make sure they knew we were coming and Brittany answered. She told us she was waiting for us and had a tech ready to take care of our issue. We arrived at 2 pm and met Brittany and she thought she could have us taken care of in the next 30 minutes. We headed to the showroom lounge to relax. We then spotted a beautiful dark green RX450h on the showroom floor. That is where we met Irvin who spent sometime with us and he showed my sister a recent trade in that was being detailed. Irvin was knowledgeable and fun. True to her word Brittany appeared and had solved the switch problem at no charge to us. Overall a wonderful experience and they will be seeing us again for a future purchase. Since moving to Spokane, I've had a few minor, yet annoying problems with my car. My service tech, Tim McMichael is always available and lets me drop by at my convenience! He even has calls forwarded to his cell when not on the Lexus property. Awesome. They have a comfortable waiting area with wifi and desks, should you need them; coffee, tea, hot chocolate, you get the idea. They also offer free shuttles, loaner cars, and if they are out, they'll rent you one from the place down the street. I called before making an appointment for a 30,000 mile servicing. I was told to expect it to take 2 hours. I made the appointment and arrived 15 minutes prior to my service time. It took more than 5 hours for a simple servicing! I asked to be called the following business day by the service manager and was told to expect the call in the morning. Never happened. The waiting area at Larry Miller Lexus does not meet the standard of other Lexus dealerships. They did offer cans of soda, but no ice. On a hot 95 degree day, pop open a can of soda and pour it into a small plastic or paper cup....with no ice....not very appealing. I asked if there was a place to get ice, and the receptionist returned with a SMALL plastic cup of cubes, not enough to support can of soda. My husband and I sat in the waiting area, and absolutely no one on the staff asked if there was anything we needed. 5 hours!! I checked multiple times with the people in servicing, but my requests fell on deaf ears. I finally contacted a manager elsewhere, he looked into my situation, and told me that the car was just sitting "in back". He said it would be immediately washed, and we would be on our way. He also told me that the service manage would call me. Still hasn't happened. I live almost 2 hours from Spokane. Other Lexus dealerships have offered us a loaner to take home if the servicing was to take longer than expected. They would then deliver our car and pick up the loaner. This option was not offered to us. Nothing was offered to us as far as customer service goes. We have had Lexus servicing done in multiple states, from the the midwest, the mountain states, and the southwest . This was our first experience in the northwest....was not at all satisfied. Suggestions: 1. Get an ice bucket, fill it, and place it on the counter near the soda pop and water. It would be a good idea to check the bucket every couple of hours and refresh it with fresh cubes. 2. You have a covered plate for cookies or other sweets....put some on it. The plate was empty from 10:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. It was rather disgusting to look at a crumb, finger smudged empty plate. Just remove the plate if you have nothing to offer. I purchased a new family car from Larry H Miller Lexus in 2009. While still under warranty (both months and mileage), we noticed that it was acting "sluggish" intermittently. This was especially a problem when accelerating from a stop, which had us concerned about safety for obvious reasons. We first brought the car in for this problem in March of 2015. Finally, in February of this year, they tried new spark plugs to the tune of $1,000. However, I have now been told that the cylinder heads need to be replaced. The price for this is $12,000. This car (LS460) has only 61k miles on it. We keep this car for road trips mainly. Even though the warranty is 70k miles, we are being told that we are over our warranty in months. This ignores the fact that this problem was identified and misdiagnosed back in March of 2015, which I have documentation to prove. In talking to Lexus, they have offered to provide the parts only. Toyota has been aware of this problem since 2007. To my friends and family who own a lexus, beware! I cannot recommend this dealership for their failure to diagnose this issue before the warranty expired by months, and not by mileage. My future car purchases will not be a Lexus from this dealership. read more

This was my first experience at any Lexus dealership. I found an ad on the Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane website that offered a lease special for a new RX 450H for 4000 down and 519.00 per mo. payments that struck my interest. I then chatted with their internet agent. I told him of the ad and he said someone would contact me the next day. To make a long story short, in the confusion of the fast talking sales rep, I forgot about the ad and ended up signing a very very bad contract. After realizing this, I called and asked the sales rep why I was not offered the deal on their webpage since I was well qualified. The salesman told me he didn't know about it. My credit score is over 800 and all Lexus of Spokane recognized was my inexperience in leasing (I told them) and took complete advantage of us. When I confronted them, the finance manager said that the bank (Lexus Financial) would not change the lease. I love the car but honestly, what Lexus of Spokane did to us has taken every positive away from this experience. I honestly feel obligated to warn people that are considering buying here my experience. As a consumer, and person that has worked damn hard to get where I'm at, I feel that the business practices that were used on me were unfair at best. I corresponded with the Lexus customer satisfaction division and was told pretty much it was entirely up to Lexus of Spokane and they do not get involved. I've asked anyone who would listen at Lexus of Spokane (including the manager) to look at what happened and reconsider the lease. A few days after the sale took place, the salesman left a message on my cell (I still have it) apologizing for "not knowing" about the lease special they were offering and assured us that he would do what ever it took to get us the deal they were advertising. Well, I've made my first payment, and have not heard a peep from Lexus of Spokane. Guess they pulled one off. Funny how I got five phone calls from them the day they found out I was interested in leasing for the first time but simply will not pick that phone up if it means they may have to use some integrity and make something right.
