I received a "cash offer" via Edmonds after entering my vehicle information, and a salesman contacted me immediately regarding this vehicle. He confirmed that the Edmonds offer would be honored, provided the information I submitted was accurate, which the Sales Manager verified. I brought the written Edmonds/Findlay offer and all requested documentation to my appointment. Upon inspection, they found the car accurately represented, with no issues. Despite this, Findlay presented a significantly lower "auction" offer, claiming the Edmonds valuation was too high and citing $2,000 in alleged "repairs"--none of which were actually necessary, including routine maintenance like an oil change. I showed them the original offer, which made no mention of overpricing, and was assured that honesty in the submitted information would guarantee the offer. This promise was not honored. Subsequently, the Sales Manager called to apologize and mentioned they would review their process to prevent this from happening in the future. While he offered a higher amount, it still did not match the original Edmonds/Findlay written offer. He acknowledged that nothing in the offer or my information indicated it wouldn't be honored, yet the dealership chose not to uphold it. This feels deceptive and am disappointed that Findlay wasted my time and resources instead of honoring their written offer. read more

This dealership was formerly the Larry H Miller Honda dealership that was recently sold to Findlay. You'll see the same faces in the showroom and maintenance department. I've found that the maintenance group is pretty easy to work with and they always seem to do their best troubleshooting issues. Their communication is also very good. Now that they're Findlay, I am hoping they keep up those good customer service principles. read more

Went to look at one car. They did all the sales stuff with me telling them my credit was not that good and I did not want but 1 hard inquiry. I had to leave and asked them to give me a call when they knew anything. I was guaranteed there would not be a bunch of hard inquiries. They later called me and said there was a defect in the car I chose and they could not sell it to me. But they had another suv available. It was a very old upscale foreign SUV, repairs would be very costly if I could find the parts so I declined and said I would try later. When the denials started coming in there was 7 hard queries and some even on the car I said no to. read more

I would leave a negative start review if I could, I am very disappointed about two separate services I had completed at this location. I brought my car in about 3 weeks ago for an oil change. They removed the engine splash shield to complete this, and it was not put back on correctly. It proceeded to get looser and looser, to the point where I left my house last weekend and it fell down and was scraping the roadway. This caused me to have to turn around at Sprague (40 minutes into my drive) , missing my grandpa's funeral. They are closed on Sundays. I brought it in today to have it worked on and was quoted 'an hour' for how long it would take. When I went to get my oil changed I had to sit and wait in the lobby for 3 hours, so I decided to not risk a long wait (it's a workday), so I ordered an Uber home. I was home for approximately 3 minutes before they called me to tell me that the fix would take 5 minutes and I could head back. Despite the fact that they caused the problem, I was asked to pay for the fix for something they messed up. They also offer complimentary Uber and Lyft rides, but I was never offered one. I will never take my car back here, or recommend anyone take their car here. The kind man that picked me up from Uber for BOTH rides that were ultimately unnecessary told me he no longer takes his car here because he's been dissatisfied with the service for the past year. He recommends Pete's Independent Honda Repair, and that's where I will be taking my car going forward. If Findlay Honda has any customer service left, they will reimburse me for the $60 that I spent today correcting their mistakes. read more
