We saw a car on Craigslist at this lot that we were interested in so we went to check it out. We were greeted immediately by Jeff who was really nice and let us take it for a test drive. We noticed the car had snow tires so he said he would throw in new tires and offered us lower than the asking price. He made an appointment for us for the next morning at Les Schuab to get the new tires put on. We were in and out of the car lot within 45 minutes. Very bad shopping experience! After having a great test drive and an enjoyable conversation with our kind salesman, we negotiated and settled on a price. First, he gave me the price without tax and licensing, then the total with tax and licensing. This price was clearly confirmed, but only verbally (unfortunately). We were then allowed to take the vehicle to our mechanic to check for any major issues. After the vehicle checked out very clean and we returned to purchase, we were told the total price that we just discussed no longer included tax and licensing and they would be adding another $1700 to our price. I thought the salesman was joking with me, but he wasn't. After reminding him of the conversation and total we just agreed upon (before visiting the mechanic) he responded by saying he never quoted me that price. I thanked him for wasting our time (and the money we just spent at the mechanic) and told him that what he did was very dishonest and disrespectful. If you choose to visit Crosspointe, don't trust the charm and warm words. Get things in clear writing before moving forward! read more

This dealer is one of the best, if not THE best, used car dealer in the Spokane area! I recently purchased a '09 F-150 from Crosspointe. Mike was my salesman and was extremely easy to work with, no high pressure; actually no pressure at all! We went for a lengthy test drive and then spent another 20-30 minutes going through things back at the lot. I asked if I could have an independent mechanic check out the truck, no problem at all. Returned the next day with my mechanic, Mike put a plate on the truck, handed me the keys and said take your time. We did! 2 hours of bumper to bumper inspection, 30 minute test drive making sure everything worked as it should, including the 4X4 on wet dirt roads. All checked out except for the emergency brake. Upon returning to the lot and informing Mike of the brake issue, he said no worries, we'll get it fixed. They took it to Les Schwab and called me a little while later to tell me that LS had to order parts from Ford. This repair is 100% being paid for by Crosspointe! I'm not sure why they only have 2 stars overall, this is definitely a 5 star business (I'd give them 10 if avai! Jeff had the paperwork all ready to go, 15 minutes and the deal was done (no financing, paid cash), but he was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend Crosspointe Autoplex to anyone looking for a used vehicle. Update: waited to post this until the E-brake issue was resolved, it was completed yesterday (6/6/19) by Les Schwab, and they rotated the tires for free! read more

Previous reviews are several years old. We purchased a car from Crosspointe last month (1/2020). This is a small business and the customer satisfaction is important to them. We were given the carfax report, the high/low used car value (which matched what we researched), as well as a summary of work done on the car when it came to the lot without asking for it. After our own mechanic looked at the car, we returned to Crosspointe and finalized minor details.The vehicle we purchased is running smoothly and proving to be very reliable. The entire process was pleasant (no pressure), transparent (no hidden agendas or last minute surprises) and very satisfactory. Where to start... First of all, I would have to agree with one of the other reviewers - these people epitomize what you think of when you think 'car salesmen' (think the dad on the movie Matilda and you've just about got it). They are very friendly and cheery when you walk in the front door (hence the '4' for friendliness) and will shake your hand and take your picture while they sell you a total lemon. Unfortunately, I did not have much car buying experience and therefore fell for the act and was lulled into a false sense of security (How could a guy this nice be trying to swindle me?!...). So I will preface this with a shame on me for not being skeptical and not trusting the word of a salesman (heck he's the salesman, maybe he didn't even realize he was selling me a POS but whoever let it onto the lot sure did). Anyhow, this is a breakdown of everything that went wrong with the car, all within a few months of purchasing it (this is a manual transmission vehicle): bad emergency brake (like roll down the hill when it's set bad); BALD tires (probably illegal, he promised he could get us a GREAT deal on new tires, turns out he could save us 5% and we'd have to drive it back to Spokane, not worth it); transmission completely shot to hell (the man who replaced it said there was no way this developed in the 3 months we had the car); Completely destroyed suspension (same story, mechanic didn't know how this had even happened on such a relatively new car). So, THOUSANDS of dollars later we have a driveable testimony to our gullibility. I tried to contact them and see if they would make this right in any way (I admit they don't have any legal obligation to do this but, heck, maybe they are decent human beings, right?) and got no response at all. Ok, if you really HAVE to purchase from these people, HAVE A TRUSTED (NOT RECOMMENDED BY THEM) MECHANIC CHECK THE CAR THOROUGHLY!!!! This may cost you a few bucks. It's worth it, I wish I had. I purchased quite the lemon from Crosspointe (not the kind you can make lemonade with) and now am left with a car I can't drive. I blame both Dodge and Crosspointe for this issue that just can't seem to get resolved. The car I purchased was apparently imported from Canada however all the rules and regulations that are to be followed when importing were not followed. Dodge issued a recall on some flapper in the gas tank that prevents the car from dying for no reason when it gets stuck open. My car now dies without warning while driving and then can not restart without mechanical intervention. This has occurred while getting on the freeway, taking off from an intersection, etc. Every time I get in the car to go somewhere I'm not certain if this will happen. I'm left feeling quite anxious and afraid. I have a small child. What if I'm in the car with my child getting on the freeway and the car dies. Will I be hit by another car that is not expecting me to suddenly lose speed in front of them? Rich has been very good about taking our calls and saying I'll look into it however we NEVER receive a call back and now I have a car I can't drive. I feel that Dodge should repair the car here in the United States no matter where the car came from as it is a defect in a car they built, however they say I need to drive to Canada or have the car lot correct the issue. Guess who has not corrected the issue as of yet?? My suggestion to anyone that is going to buy a car here....DON'T!!!!!. While the staff is very nice and polite if you have any issues you will never get a resolution. Of course there are other issues that I was not aware of when I got the car...such as the leaking sun roof. We became aware of this the first time I took the car through the car wash. Water ran down the interior and began dripping constantly on my child in his car seat. Since the car was detailed before I purchased it I would believe they knew the sunroof leaked as well. - Sincerely, a very unhappy customer. read more
