This is my first time trying out this place, their food is delicious. I recommend their naan that comes with good selections of seasoning for you to choose from. It definitely goes well with their curry. Tried mango curry and Tikka masala with spice level 3/10, it does have a good kick that you might get with normal medium spice. So I recommend always going lower with the spice level, as you can always add more spice, but not the other way around. Chicken 65 appetizer is a good started with plenty amount of chicken for the price. The restaurant is kept clean, but it is rather old and run down. It definitely needs some love. This was a spur of the moment decision to come to dinner. I was in town and I asked my sister and my mom if we could go down there because of hearing good things about this restaurant. And it honestly is less than a 5-minute drive from my mom's house so it was a nice pick for something for dinner. They have ample seating and a pretty large menu. My sister isn't always an adventurous eater and she was even able to find something on the menu. My mom got the curry and said that it was flavorful and not as spicy as she expected so she wants to go up and spice next time that she comes. My sister thought that her noodles were really good. She didn't expect them to be as dry as they were as in no sauce not dry like toast, but she also said that there was so much on the plate that you'll have leftovers for days. I got the lamb tikka masala and it was delicious. It tasted like all of the Tikka masala's that I've tried before so nothing out of the ordinary at all. The naan here was definitely different than anything I've had. It was flatter and more like a tortilla than a fluffy piece of bread that I was used to. It was very good. We got the spinach and then we also got the garlic and I would save the spinach was my favorite. The appetizer platter was a nice mix to get a few things to try that we didn't know if we liked. But my only complaint is that the vegetable fritters were fried a little bit longer than I would have liked. Overall it was really good. The service was excellent. I went hungry and had to wait a bit for the food. We were the only ones there on a quiet Christmas eve. I was wondering what was going on that is until I started smelling all the nice aromas. I knew it was being made fresh. The wait was well worth it as I took a bite of the warmed garlicky Naan. Oh so nice. I first tried the chili paneer. Yum. Next I had a bite of the Gobi. That too had a very nice flavor. It's the flavors of a place that keeps me coming back. Indian food at its finest . 5 * for having the tastiest Indian cuisine in town. Tandoori Shrimp, and the Palak Paneer was extremely flavorful. Raita- I always order extra for a next day breakfast . You can taste and bite into the fresh ingredients like garlic and ginger. Beware of heat levels. If you are typically heat level 5, I would tone it down a notch. read more

We started off with the chili momo, which was generously sauced with a thick, flavorful sweet but spicy gravy and stuffed with juicy chicken. I knew it was a great start. We had the chicken tikka masala and the chicken korma curry with some garlic naan. I have never had such a complex, smoky, chicken tikka masala like that. The korma is such a lovely, inviting coconut based curry that I will OFFICIALLY be looking for every time I eat at an Indian restaurant Both chicken were so perfectly tender. The service was short staffed but were so kind and accommodating. They are truly working very hard and the food shows. Friend of ours told us about this place and we finally got a chance to go. It's the old Nunzi's on 38th St. It was relatively empty when we went in (early evening). We were warmly greeted by our server and we proceeded to have a very nice dinner. Ambiance is simple. It was clean. That matters a lot to us. Service was great. Warm, prompt, eager to answer questions. Food: Had veg korma and butter chicken. Both were very good, though a bit heavy handed on salt. That was a turn off on otherwise great flavors. I had heard they took over the old Nunzi's building and was in the area so gave them a try. Wow. Really nice interior. Maybe the bar was set low bc Nunzi's was kind of a dump by the end of it, but I thought they did a really nice job with the interior and bar. I ordered Shrimp Biryami and my Aunt got the Tikki Chicken Masalla. It's been my experience that for $13-16 a dinner for Chinese/Thai/Indian places takeout portions are HUGE. These portions were actually reasonable, which I liked, but pound for pound that makes them a little pricey. The food was fresh and tasty and the nann was really good. All-in-all a good experience. Looks like it should be serving burgers by the outside appearance but once you enter and smell the aromas you know it's about to be very good Indian. I've had about half the menu know and can recommend everything whole heartedly. The naan can be hit or miss on being really dry or really fresh and moist but it's still good to get and tea in the oven to reheat. read more

Food here is actually very good! One of the best butter chicken I've had. Also had the vegetable samosa, spicy momos (dumplings), and the lamb dum biryani, which were good as well. We got spice level hot, which is a true hot. I would recommend going a spice level down than from what you think you can handle! I could eat it but my partner was sweating throughout the meal but was still eating lol. There are two entrances, one to the bar and the other to the restaurant (right side). This place doesn't look like much but my goodness is it exceptional. Start with the daal soup and their unbelievable variety of naan. I love the spinach naan. You can have the chicken tikka and you will love it but their lamb and mutton vindaloos are incredible. Don't sleep on this place. It is the best Indian food in Erie. Finally a place that serves authentic Amritsari fish fry! The chowmein noodles hit so close to how they are served in India! The chicken manchow soup was very tasty and full of flavor. Truly, this is a fine restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes that we've gotten at other restaurants before, and everything was excellent. My husband and I discovered this place by accident (we were leaving neighborhood staple The Breakfast Place, and realized someone had moved into Nunzi's across the lot), but what a happy accident it was! The food is DELICIOUS, and can adhere to anyone's taste buds, whether the prefer mild (me) or hot dishes (him and my sister, who was *overjoyed* to learn their was an Indian place so close to my home). I cannot recommend their food enough, especially the chicken fried rice and bhatura, while my husband was all about the chicken curry and my sister the veg kapoo (hope I spelled that right!).
