Delhi Cafe on Belmont ave has a lunch buffet that is great tasting, and a great value. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is warm and comfortable inside, has plenty of parking outside, and the staff is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bringing around freshly baked naan table-side while you're enjoying the buffet is a nice touch and an example of the great service you get here. The best Indian food I've had yet in Ohio. They have a large menu spanning multiple Indian regions and including a vegan option of substituting tofu for paneer, which is cooked to perfection and rare to find in most Indian restaurants I've been to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is super cute, it's in this little standalone building. with a outdoor area and a separate bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a lunch buffet which is awesome! Everyone who works here is helpful and pleasant, and happy to explain the menu and even help with the pronunciation of the dishes. "Meh" indian food. Came here on the way back from Cleveland. Sunday afternoon. Outdoor seating was available. We sat indoors. We were going to order, but ended up having the buffet because no menu was offered. No real hair or sneeze guard over buffet. 8 dishes on buffet, with 4 other dishes to the side, for a total of 12 offerings, 2 of which are rice. They offer hot tea on the buffet, along with plates and some really crappy paper towel-like napkins. The buffet is refilled by a guy who comes from the back with a piping hot frying pan full of gloop and dumps it over whatever was left from the last time. Or, by another guy, I think the host, who brings a big heaping plate of lukewarm plain long-grain rice and dumps that over the leftover rice. Shahi paneer had no flavor. Paneer seemed to be from a package, not freshly made. Samosas also seemed to be from a package and looked like "mini microwave samosas" ... Most of the dishes were not memorable. All thigh meat. Kadai chicken was good, but a lot of the food was cold or empty on the buffet. Pickle was simple, made from a mix, so salty. Why do you offer people jalapenos in water on the buffet? Why do you offer people 20 green olive slices floating in water on the buffet? They have all of the chutneys up front, doesn't make sense the way things are ordered. Buffet was around $14. NO BIRYANI ON THE BUFFET. Entryway was a little dirty. My wife saw a beetle but it thought it was, you know, a different bug. The drink menu had crumbs stuck to it, and the table was a little dirty. Took a while to get water, and then to get a refill. My wife's refilled water tasted like cilantro for some reason. read more

My dad and I went in today for lunch and I'm so glad we did. I didn't expect a buffet but we took a glance at the offerings and immediately decided that's what we'd have. The Chana Masala was probably the most flavorful I've ever had and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. I would love to return and have a Taj Mahal at the bar some evening soon. Good buffet with several delicious options. There are signs posted that tell you the name of each selection. They bring warm naan bread to your table if you ask for some when the buffet runs out of it. This is a surprising delight. The best, freshest Indian food we've had in a long time. They have a all-you-can-eat buffet every day which is fresh and delicious. The folks are very nice and tell you all about the food. I love the mango milkshake (lissy i think its called). This drink is the tastiest beverage ever. It's like mango mixed with blended yogurt, and I end up drinking two of them. Check this place out, it's new and not many people know about it.
